Dear Guillianna and Elijah –
Hope your Monday was good and your week is off to the very best start!
Things are getting changing in the Mitten – fall is here the days are getting colder and shorter for sure. It doesn’t seem to matter how hard I try though – I think about you both day and night. Wonder what is happening in your lives and if you know how we are wishing you every happiness. We wonder if you remember all the silly singing Nana did and dancing with a Poppy. Do you remember Moana ? And the dances. I am going to try and upload a video and hope that it works in the next few days.
There are so many videos and photos that I look at and can’t help but wonder what more I can do to help your family see the love we have. The love you experienced in the Mitten and how important it is that after so many years of being here or around your Nana and Poppy that it must be terribly sad for you both that you cannot see us. I know that last I heard mom say would be able to call as often as you wanted and would see us in about two weeks. I try hard not to worry about you and wonder what you must be thinking or what you’ve been told – but the truth is – I do know that you will remember the truth and maybe you’re afraid to say how much you want to call. Maybe you aren’t allowed to cry , like it was before long ago. It’s super important you know that we understand. You truly must live according to the expectations of your parents and we hope you will never feel sad for being unable to send love back to the Mitten.
Everyone here remembers your smiles and happiness and will wait with open arms until the day all is well for you to visit, talk, or even if you never can – you’ll be able to see for yourself as you grow older the way things were.
I cant imagine what has happened or how you feel. I hope you never forget all the good you both felt and the happy times. Therefore I will keep posting the memories and hope when your grown you will know we cannot wait until we can see you and talk to you again.
Until then you must always work super hard at school and be happy and full of love for mom and dad and the journey you’re traveling now.
