At The End Of The Rainbow…

Road Trip.... Dear Mom and Dad,

As you know I went with Nana and Poppy to take care of some family business up in Northern Michigan!    Here I am in the car on the way there.   It was not a fun trip for Nana, she was going to the home her parents lived in, and she had hoped it would stay in the family, but things are such that it had to be sold.  Saying good bye is hard I hear, and thats why I, being the little spirit stick I am, cheered up Nana all day!

With a smile like this... well how can you not smile back... and believe me, I make everyone smile.

Here is a photo from Great Grandmas house, it looks out over the lake, my mommy used to swim with her sisters in this lake, and spent time up at this house with her Grandma… Camp GrandmaSALLY!  It was always a wonderful place to visit…Nana says you learned sewing, and went swimming , went for cherries, and ice cream… so many fun things… for now though it was,  ‘GOOD BYE CAMP GRANDMA  SALLY!’ and thank you for a life time of memories, and memories that have now been passed down two generations!

Saying good bye!

Great Grandma Sally had a garden she worked in all the time, and Nana took a few pictures of her flowers so that she could see them one last time..

Pretty flowers... bloom everywhere in Great Grandma's Garden!

Grumpy had this garden planted for Great Grandma… it was a beautiful gift and so I am ‘letting’ Nana, put them on my website.  My Mommy used to visit Great Grandma and helped with her garden when she was small…

So many kinds of flowers...

and so many colors… I LOVED THE COLORS, and as you know love being outside, so … this was a nice treat.

We stopped and had lunch out on our way home...

On the drive back, (which by the way was FOUR and A HALF HOURS EACH WAY IN THE CAR SEAT… CAN YOU SAY NUMB BUTT) It was a long way to go for a day trip, but Poppy had work Saturday and again on Monday, so we had to do it on Sunday… it went well, and we made it safe – Poppy took Nana and I to lunch.  It was nice, spending time with me, well let’s just say it always cheers up Nana and everyone around us!  Here I am being my adorable self.

Me and my Nikon Photo Op! The Black Beast and I.... well, no explanation needed.I am conspiring here… how I can get into trouble…

It is written on my face…

I have the lens cap AGAIN… now lets see… where can I hid it?

Hee hee hee….

Can you see it in my eyes…

T r o u b l e !

I am so hungry I could eat the plate, hey maybe I will...

Then it was back to Camp Nana, and as we approached camp, there was a beautiful rainbow.  Maybe you don’t remember, but back in the end of March into early April, I joked that I was your little POG.   Another one of my little acronyms for YOUR LITTLE POT OF GOLD!   So be sure to know mom and dad, I came back to the end of the rainbow, where I will wait as your little POG until you come and pick me up.  Until then, I will continue to play constantly, and be continuously CUTE!

This toy Elmo talks.. and when Elmo talks, I listen!

Nana got Mommy’s email, and understands what you explained in your note to her.. she is glad everything is good, and also Mom and Dad, I know you are not allowed to comment or sometimes cannot comment on my love letters, due to security purposes, but I WILL KEEP SENDING THEM TO YOU… in the hope it makes your days better, and brighter, until you come back to me.  Until tomorrow, please know, I am your Little Miss Adorable, your litle POG, your daughter,

I love this guy....

Guillianna!
