The duck and I say hi!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Nana had done my Monday ‘love letter’ so early in the day, (like before sunrise)that it seems like forever since I have written!   Really it’s only been a day, but here is what is going on in the land of lakes and sunshine!

Uh, sunshine, not so much! Several big thunderstorms in these parts – but now we are back to sun and heat.  I do really love being out and looking at flowers and green trees.

I also have a new appreciation for the expression ‘BITE YOUR TONGUE’, since last night while sitting at the dinner table, I had a teething ring in my mouth, and I bit down on it, with my little lip between the toy and my teether…. and OUCH, I bit my own lip….YIKES THAT HURT, made me cry real tears, but in a NANA SECOND, they were gone!   But now I am feeling that someone could have told me why they call them ‘choppers’ before I had to experience it the hard way!

Me & Quackers... another friend here at camp....

I also woke up this morning and sent a special delivery message to Nana  – that it is time to move the mattress in the crib down.   I was rolled over on my tummy and showed her that clearly any day I will be pulling myself up in there… so… yes, it’s a  big girl crib for me!

I am just hanging around me and my peeps....

Since my last photo shoot, I have not changed much, but when you look back through the months, boy, oh boy it is amazing how much more adorable I get!   I am packing up some things to go up to Northern Michigan with Nana and Poppy again, when we go, I may not be able to write you, if Nana’s wireless internet card is not working well, but she will try.  BELEIVE ME WHEN I SAY she does not want Mommy or Daddy missing a day of ‘all about ME’!

I hope that you and daddy are doing good, and that you’re not working too hard.  Hopefully time will go by quick since we are just a few short months away from our big visit.   Nana has not been to the post office recently, you should send her email and let her know what if anything you need.  Besides, if you tell her, I get a field trip to visit the nice people at the post office too.   They make me feel special.  Tonight I went to dinner with a friend from Florida, Dr. John and we had Japanese food.  I am checking the chef out to see if he does a good job.

Me at dinner tonight!

I am working hard on crawling, but really everytime I am put onto my tummy… I just roll over to my back and smile, as if to say… look what I can do, then I am so proud when I do it, that  I wait for someoneto make a big deal over my roll!  It has become a game… and I have NO INTEREST right now in crawling, after all… I have more fun showing off my rolling skills… most likely though, I will discover very soon how much more mobile I will be when I crawl… and then there will be no stopping me… NANA IS SURE OF IT, she says I am SO like mommy, in that when I put my mind onto or into something… I GO UNTIL IT GET IT!    That is for sure… none of this out of sight-out of mind stuff, if you move something… I WILL FIND IT, I WILL SEARCH FOR IT, AND LOOK AROUND UNTIL I FIND WHERE YOU PUT IT… crazy curious… thats me!

Me tickling the chef!

I see the pediatrician in September for my nine month “vaccinations” “yukko”… but Nana says a princess has to do – what a princess has to do, and so I will go, but no promises that I won’t be a bucket of fuss!   We hope to discuss a few important things, like whether the twice a day on my tummy medicine is still possible, since some days it seems okay and others it is not.   We also hope to discuss my mucous…. yes I said it on line, MUCOUS,  and while totally gross – it is very annoying to me.   I have a hard time sometimes  if Nana doesn’t suction me out, and it all started when my teeth came, and has not really gone away…. maybe because some top teeth may not be far behind, or is it a cilia issue or allergy, we just are not sure?   So we have so much to talk about at that visit.  If you have any questions that you want Nana to ask my doctor please write her.  It is the second week in September that Iwill go, so you have time.

Then, we will be fast approaching OCTOBER, and before then, you need to help me decide what you’d like me to be for Halloween.   Not that I will trick or treat, but I will go to GG-ma’s for kisses and hugs, and Nana says this first Halloween, you and daddy get to pick, but after that, don’t plan on it, it will be all my choice!     So let her know what you think and she will try her best to find your choice or make it.   After that, it will be November, and Thanksgiving, and you know what that means, days from our time together… we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with a turkey and all the fixin’s no matter when you get to come… because we will all be so thankful for everything we have, but especially that you’re here at camp for a visit!

So you see, I have everything all planned, and in the blink of an eye… we will be hangin’ out, like the three amigos, the three musketeers, three blind mice… OH NO .. I FEEL A SONG COMING ON!  Shhhhh stop before Nana starts..

I love you guys, hope you are smiling, and thinking of … ME!

Keep your eye on the prize, (me) and all will be okay!  Until tomorrow, please remember, I am and always will be your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

 Me playing shy!
