I Had Swimming Class Tonight!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Tonight was Goldfish Mini Swim Class, and while Poppy had to give a lecture, Great Aunt Pam was my GOLDFISH MINI SWIM PARTNER.    I had a blast.   Great Aunt Pam is so nice to fill in for Uncle Nick  while at school and Poppy tonight!   I did all the things a “mini” should do, and more, I love being there!   Nana absolutely  loves the Mini Moms and Dads, it makes her so happy to see these moms and dads, loving being parents, and makes her think about you and daddy.   She watches the swim class, and thinks to herself… in just a short while it will be you and daddy with me… just as it should be!     It makes her smile to think about us being a family!   Nana says, it is the true “yin and  the yang” of life… she knows everyone here will feel their hearts break as I leave camp and the Mitten State, and then there will simultaneously exist the sincere and true elation of how it will feel for everyone here, knowing  that I am going to MY HOME.  That I will be in the arms of my parents, and they will teach me, and help me grow. I WILL FINALLY BE  WITH MY MOM AND MY DAD… and then WE TOO will be like the mom’s and dad’s and children Nana observes at Goldfish Mini, who are sharing with their lives, their little pride and joy sharing in  TIME, LOVE AND HAPPINESS as all parents should be able to do!   For before we know it… our children are grown, their lives their own, and our dreams become our past.

So here I am today, on February 24th, 2010 in my photo shoot for you and dad.  I hope you love seeing me, and know as we near the end of this tour of duty, that Nana will continue to try and make it so that you can see me everyday.  My face makes every day brighter, and every minute pass more quickly.   For that reason alone, Nana will continue to send my letters, hoping it makes your return to me, feel more rapid, and that it makes your days there brighter!

As always, I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

  1. There’s alot of parents out here, some with and some without their spouses. It’s difficult, but if it wasn’t for Nana going above and beyond the call of Nana’s… we would never be able to see you each day like this, and for this we’re truly blessed. So thanks Nana for letting us actually see each step of the way, and thanks to the campers for teaching you all the animal noises, dance routines, and keeping you smiling everyday. We both miss you more than anything, and are excited to get back to the Lone Star state, where I’m sure Nana and Poppa will visit often.

    WE LOVE YOU GUGE!

  2. You are so welcome Daddy and Mom… I love being your daughter, and Nana, wants so much to make both of you as happy as you can be there in the Land of Sand, she knows this has been awful for you… and she just wants to bring a smile to your face and make the days pass as quickly as possible for you both! xoxoxoxo GUILLIANNA!
