Happy Birthday Daddy!

Dear Mom and Dad,

So last year on your birthday I sent you a fantabulous love letter… I was just born….and sleeping on and off…  this year I plan an even more fantabulous one cause…  let’s face it, I am bigger and I’m a little person now!   Even though momma said the two of you cannot get mail anymore there in the land of sand… we have taken advantage of our electronic love letter setup… and in no time… you will have the real deal in your arms!   ME!

I have a true love affair goin’ on dad with someone named BOB, dad, and I just want you to know, I hold him clearly by myself, I hold him with one hand, I even hold him with my pinky finger out just like a princess!   Bob is my bud!   My latest thing however is to push the air out of BOB just like Nana does, and watch BOB spray all over.   IT IS FUN!

I don’t do this when hungry… just when I feel like playing… and well… it makes a stream of white all over where ever I squirt him!   Sometimes on my tray, sometimes on the floor, sometimes on Nana?   Yea… then I get BOB taken away…

Not my favorite thing… but if I am playin’ Nana says I can’t be too hungry.

So… here I am with BOB!

Don’t be jealous dad, one day, though prepare yourself… it will be Dan… or Frank or someone else… I have a thing for… and you’ll be missin’ that it’s not BOB!

Things here are good.   Nana and I were hanging out alone today, and well she’s always funny to watch chase me… cause she is so funny when she runs!   She’s a chubber… so … well… you can imagine!

I am on the move constantly…. as you have read.  I am keeping everyone on their toes here at camp.  Even the pets have a hard time keeping up with me… I go from room to room they want to follow, then they give up, and say… HEY CRAZY GIRL YOU KEEP MOVING WE ARE TIRED… but I just keep on going!

Mr. Griff, even though big and slow… stays with me… and if I really tire him out he lays in the hallway between where I am going so he can see me from every vantage point!

Here are a few more shots of me today for your birthday dad…

I am looking adorable as usual, and my little personality well it is even more adorable than this face if you can believe that.

I think we will have a blast when you come back to the USA, and you and I will laugh and play.

Until tomorrow, please know Iam sending Birthday Wishes, and cannot wait to see you both again, I am as always, your Little Miss Adorable, your big girl, your daughter,

Guillianna!

P.S.

TO MY UNCLE NICK AND MISS K…. HAVE A SAFE TRIP TO SEE GREAT GRANDMA AND GRUMPY PLEASE GIVE THEM BIG HUGS FROM THE GUGEMEISTER, FROM NANA POPPY AND THE CAMPERS…. WE WILL MISS YOU, AND WE LOVE THEM VERY MUCH.   Nana is hoping Great Grandma is feeling better and can enjoy her visit with her Grandson… seems it is so hard to spend time with family any more everyone so big and working so hard…

and soon I will be in Texas and my Nana will be a world  away… she keeps reminding herself… it is what must be, and what is best.   But as Uncle Nick leaves, to visit his grandma for the first time in more than a decade… (when she came here last it was all trouble and heartache with things that just were not good…. so this is a real visit) it makes Nana realize… life is so unpredictable, and ever changing.

Great Grandma Sally used to take a baby Uncle Nick for “eat time” in Northern Michigan, she took him to see Santa, and he watered her garden.   They saw each other all the time.   This will be a nice visit – and Nana is a little tired, and emotional… but she hopes to recover soon from all her Nana stuff and make sure she is able to visit me…and take me to do fun stuff… and see me grow.

She says… no matter where I live no matter where she is… she will be thinking of me and looking out for me.   Just like my great grandparents have done …. with thier grandkids!  Grandpa Ray, to Great Papa and GG-ma, Great Grandma Sally and Great Grumpy… and even Great Grandpa Wally and Great Grandma Betty from above… all HAVE LOVED MY MOMMY HER SISTERS AND UNCLE NICK… WITH ALL THEIR HEARTS….  a blended and diverse family… that reallyNana is so grateful for.   Love to all from Camp… and thank you for this family… it’s all Nana and Poppy ever dreamed of.

  1. Hey Princess,

Thanks so much for wishing me a happy birthday, and both of us are very excited to celebrate the days we all missed together when we get back. We’re both very proud of you, and you’re doing so great with the BOB, walking, and talking. Mommy tells me you love saying “hi” and “no”. That’s very awesome, now when we get back you can just tell us no to anything you don’t want to do. We’ll get the rest of the words soon enough, but we’re just excited we’ll be home with you for good this time. We’ll call you soon, and maybe you can take mommy for a walk again 😀

    Love,

    Mommy & Daddy
