Guess what day tomorrow is?

Can you see how really blue my eyes are? Blue like the ocean!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Tomorrow is Daddy’s birthday!  Woo Woo!

This is the beginning of a new week at camp, and I am settling in.  I slept until 5:00am this morning and Nana was so excited.   When I woke up she had my breakfast waiting, and we are getting into a groove… unless of course my saying this IS A JINX, to it all… but most likely I am just getting adjusted to my crib finally and to camp in Michigan.

I was really good today mom and dad… and here are some shots for you to see that I am doing good.   Tonight is a short love letter because, truthfully Nana has sooooo much going on today, that she just fed the family dinner… and it was like 10:00 at night.

Cheeks.... kissable cheeks....

She says she will make up for it tomorrow though, cause it is Daddy’s birthday and I have a special love letter for him tomorrow….

Just sittin in my room, lookin around...

Hey I wonder what I am thinking…?

Maybe it’s that Nana takes too many pictures, or is it that I see something that reminds me of a bottle over there… either way, I am a little more interested in it, than any silly pictures…

Hugs and kisses to you both… and looking forward to seeing you soon, Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

Sunday’s are fun days!

Nana, Mr. Griff and I! Mr. Griff and I share Nana, he wanted her to feed him a bottle too! HA WHOSE THE BABY NOW MR. GRIFF...

Dear Mom and Dad,

Nana is feeding me, and Mr. Griff, well he just decided today, he would wait for me to be done and rest his head on Nana too… I told you Nana is squishy and has plenty of room to snuggle… hey, did I mention this place is a zoo… four cats, three dogs, four kids at home and A PRINCESS.   Did I mention I like the zoo… there is always something going on… hairballs, shedding fur the size of tumbleweeds, and well if you think I can get messy when I eat or drink you should see Mr. Griff.  More slime comes out of his mouth, than there is water in my tub when I take a bath… gross!  But he is my protector…. and Nana usually keeps him licking distance away… cause really it is just gross.   They all want to sniff me… and they all come running if I cry.   SERIOUSLY… especially Bubba Justice.   He will make sure he runs to me, and if anyone is holding me, besides Nana, he runs back to Nana to let her know something is goin’ on.   AS IF SHE  DIDN’T KNOW,   seriously Bubba she can hear me just fine… Everyone knows when I am in need of anything… ha..princess sqwaking 101… I have an A+ in that.

Still hanging out, me and my bodygaurd...

Me and my pony!

Who needs Prince charming, I HAVE MY OWN DARN HORSE!

Nana said she talked to you both, and you are both in need of some homemade soup!   She hopes you both get rest… and feel better very soon.   Today we learned that Ms. Pat’s husband passed away so Nana and Poppy are so sad, it is lucky I am able to bring happiness and joy to anyone… and today I had my work cut out for me.   Mr. Tom was very good to my mommy they say, and was so proud of her work she does as a soldier.   Truly so very proud!   Poppy and Nana will be sure to send a tribute from the whole family in his name.  Maybe something special for the troops, what ever Ms. Pat decides.

Today I had a very good day.   I did have to take all my previous medicine, but there is some great photos of my day… it started with BREAKFAST!    Mid morning after my early breakfast… I got some Oatmeal and Pears… want to see…

Oatmeal and Pears... YUMMO!

Yes, I am wearing some of my food.... but hey, I am a beginner...Nana says, ALL PRINCESS' GET FOOD EVERYWHERE WHEN THEY FIRST LEARN TO EAT BIG GIRL FOOD

It tastes better than it looks REALLY!

I can sit in my stroller like a big girl now, and I am working on holding my bottle, and most of all…. I AM LOVIN’ LIFE… and can’t wait to see you both.

The bottle is much faster than that spoon thing....

HEY DADDY.... WHO DO YOU THINK I LOOK LIKE....! Uh, mom, I have your great sense of humor, your charm and well most every princess quality because of you... but THIS PARTICULAR PHOTO... it is all Dad!

Me and My Shadow...

I love you both very much, and am as always, even if I have an oatmeal face, LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, your daughter,

Night mamma and daddy.... I love you.

Guillianna!

The first day of my very first ‘Spring’!

December 2008... you tell me, have I grown....?

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today is March 21rst, which means I have begun my first spring ever… and it is also Great Grandma Sharyn’s birthday!   This is me just after I was born, Nana and that black camera in my face already!  Do you think I have changed?   If you can believe it, here in Michigan, there were flurries this morning, and yet it is suppossed to get into the 50’s today.  GOTTA LOVE MICHIGAN!

I am so glad your cold is better daddy, and I hope mommy is feeling better too.

Today we stayed home and I was weaned off a little of my stomach medicine.   So I was a little sensitive.   Please know I am okay though.  The medicine makes me tired, so it is good to have less  – if I can.   I do grasp at my bottle daddy, but I can’t hold it by myself yet.   I have not yet begun to roll over, but I am getting close… I definately scoot all over my crib… I start at the top of it and by the time Nana gets me out, I am at the bottom.   Last night I went to sleep at midnight, and I did not wake up until about 5:30 am.  SHOCKING… but true.   I then stayed up until about noon, and then took a short nap.    I was really tired yesterday, maybe from our trip to the hospital to visit Mr. Tom and Ms. Pat.  (Whom we are all saying our prayers for… )

I am sorry that mommy had sad news from Nana yesterday too, and we all hope she is okay.  Daddy, please hug her for us, and tell her how much we love her okay?  Nana tells me that life is very hard, but when you are a princess, and you have a mommy and daddy, with all the family I seem to have lovin’ on me, I think life is great, and I for one am so happy that mommy came to be Nana’s girl, and met you, and GAVE ME MY PRINCESS LIFE.    It is a very complicated thing, ‘life’… but if you were me, right here, right now, and you saw all the wonderful things that I see, and that I have to look forward to.   Things like going to the park with daddy and mom, going to the zoo, learning to swim, ride a bike, parties, and playing games, going to climb sand dunes, and movies, and maybe even Disney World one day… there are so many great things that Nana and Poppy did with mom, that one day you guys will do with me, and all because of  this crazy thing called ‘LIFE’.  So many great things to do together… Sometimes choices are made for us, and other times we make choices… but destiny, or things that ‘have been’, from the lives of many people from Romania to the lives of many in the USA,  have all  intertwined and become… my princess world.   I am very lucky.  If I could, I would say Thank you to the great grandparents in Romania who sacrificed so much and made it possilble that I am here today the daughter of  my mom and dad and loved by all who love them… that’s what I say!

I am getting so big, and am learning so many things... So enough heavy stuff, and back to all about me…we had a day of tummy time, and strengthening muscles daddy!  You know… Princess Physical Training … and don’t you worry bout a thing, one day soon, I’ll be runnin’ circles around big cuz Cody, cause it is a known fact… Girls rule, and boys drool…. right now however I drool!

Poppy and Nana say the website is ALL ABOUT GUILLIANNA, and try to limit their stealing my thunder… so pictures of them…. well they are hard to come by… afterall, wouldn’t you much rather look at a most adorable princess.    Every once in a while I will let them sneak in a photo or so of someone else, but these next months, while you are deployed, you can be certain of one thing… ITS MY FACE THAT YOU WILL SEE AND STORIES ALL ABOUT ME… so you know everything I do, and any little change… the other people here.. BOOOOOORING….

Love you very much mom and dad… KISSES AND HUGS and just think we are days away from being together.  I CAN HARDLY WAIT…  Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

Fist full of fun on Friday!

If I could, I'd eat the darn thing...

Dear Mom and Dad,

I heard you got our birthday gift daddy, and hope you take mommy out for dinner before you come visit me… Nana said you will love making trips to your favorite place to eat before you deploy so that is why we sent it early.   Nana is worried that both you and mom have a cold.   She says get plenty of sleep, and eat good healthy food, take vitamins and hopefully you will feel better soon.   Be glad you are not here, Nana can be a little overprotective, and worries easily.

So my day, hmmmm, kind of boring really.   Heres a news bulletin, we sang today.   We did a little Hokey Pokey, and more patriotic songs… I did work on holding myself up more today, but no daddy to answer your question I am not ready to crawl just yet.   I am working this entire week on EATING MY ENTIRE FIST.   This is my latest craze and I find it quite time consuming.

Nana and Poppy had to visit a very dear friend tonight at the hospital, so we all piled into the car, and to try and help cheer up Miss Pat, we went for a visit.   I was a little bit irritated because when I fell asleep in the car, Nana woke me up… and when I want to sleep…well, I am not a happy to be awakened.   Nana was worried because today I took a very long nap (for me) and then was still ready to sleep all evening.   I am fine though, and cars just make me tired.   Obviously…

Ms. Pat’s husband is very sick, and she is very sad, so it was nice to be able to go and try to help her.   Her husband is one of mommy’s biggest fans… Mr. Tom is a veteran of Vietnam.   He always asks about mommy and really truly was so proud of her work and of her dedication to the Army.

So since we had a busy day, my photo shoot is of me, just before we got ready for bed…. and I was being entertained by my mobile in my crib, and BY MY HAND!

Looking up at my ladybugs makes my hands arms legs and feet fly around a mile a minute... LOVE THOSE BUGS!

I am also including a photo of me , and Nana!

Me snoozin on Nana! A favorite position for me... when ever possible.Sleeping on Nana, uh yeah, who wouldn’t prefer her mushy squishyness to a lonely crib, and yes momma, I may be getting a little of the ‘S’ WORD,  (shhhhhhh – whisper when you say it…  ‘spoiled’)  but I am pretty sure, there is some NANA/MIMI RULE that says, they (Nana’s and Mimi’s)  cannot ever hold us grandbabies tooooooo much.   The way Nana has it figured, she spends only a few minutes a day holding me FOR HER, and then a few minutes holding me for Mimi, and then a few minutes holding me for Great Grandma Sharyn, and Great Grandma Sally as well as several more minutes holding me for Great Grandmonster Connie… and the list goes on and on… so that TECHNICALLY… SHE is not spoiling me, she is just seeing to it I get held a wee bit by all the “grandma” types in my life, WHO WOULD BE HOLDING ME IF THEY WERE HERE IN MICHIGAN!   WOO WOO…. won’t catch me complaining about that Nana Rule…

I AM A LOVE MUFFIN... CAN YOU SEE MY BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES?

Hope the both of you feel better reeeeeally soon… I am doing good and you will be so proud of my when you get here… Love and kisses to you both, Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!
