Staying at camp… and getting ready for GOLDFISH MINI CLASS!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today at camp was a day for resting- because tomorrow I go back to Goldfish School… and have a BIG TUBBY TIME as a Goldfish Mini with my GMP (Goldfish Mini Partner, aka Uncle Nick) .  I have some photos Great Aunt Pam sent me for you to enjoy and some that Uncle Nick took of me with his camera phone, I have seen them and let’s just face it… I am cute.   Here I am snug as a bug… and Uncle Nick caught me looking real cozy..

Snug as a Bug, A Gugu Bug!

I seem to be really teething, and Nana says, maybe VERY soon we will sprout some teeth… I have been practicing sitting up on my own, and spending time on my tummy, but it is not a favorite.   When Nana puts me on my tummy, I fake cough.   I figure if I make the noise she will pick me up, but she seems to be on to me.   She can tell it is fake because, when she says, oh… is the baby okay, I smile and the cough, well I forget about it…and give myself away everytime!

Can you imagine the places I will go when I can walk/run…

Oooooh, I can think of so many things I can get into.....

Why crawl if someone will get me there faster and easier I say, but No Fun Nana, says ‘NO’… and now I have excercise class to work out and stay in excellent princess shape.   The social worker that was assigned to me, is now being released because I have met the goals they set for me last February.   I made the right weight, my dietary concerns are handled with the medicine, and my heart is pumping great.  They will put me back into ‘case management’ if I continue to have issues with my “flipped” tummy but it doesn’t seem I will need them.  The case manager also gave Nana names of several places that offer “excercise” classes for development of premies, and so she enrolled me in the Gymboree class for now to see how I do.

I love eating baby food cereal and fruit still, and until I get teeth, that is about all I will I get… with an occassional cookie like you saw me eating one time before.. when I went to the cardiologist I was weighed with all my clothes and diaper on, and came in at 16 pounds 11 ounces.   About a month ago I was 15 pounds, 4 ounces naked… so Nana says I am doing good.

Things at camp are good.  Mr. Griffin, still slobbers,  Justice, still a constant barker, and Miss Liberty, well she is still a sweet dog.   Mr. Bauer,  he is  happy to have Uncle Nick home, Kozy Kat and Layla are just hanging out, not causing any trouble (just like me).  Grizzy is still on CatProzac, and well, she too is doing good, since the medicine, she is less ‘stressed’.   The vet said they are not sure if it was me coming to camp that stressed her, or Mr. Bauer stalking her on a regular basis, but either way, CatProzac helped.   Check me out in one of Great Aunt Pams’s photos she took of me, I am with a kitty… not one from our house, but a big kitty…

Paws and I.... photo taken by Gappy.... THANKS SO MUCH!

In August we will make one more trip up to northern Michigan,  and in September, I am going to visit Great Grandma Sally and meet Grumpy for the first time.   Then, it will be fall,  and Nana says she is hoping Mimi will be up to a visit so I can say hello in Tennessee!  After all of that we will be so close to our visit with each other.   I don’t think you will be getting much R&R when you do come to Camp Nana, but who cares…… we will be together.

I have started a new phase… I am blowing ‘raspberries’ and find it especially fun to do when eating.   I spatter Nana, regularly and laugh everytime I do it.   I make this sound as often as possible, and enjoy it very much, blowing raspberries brings me great joy.   I have been doing it pretty much non stop for several days.  Now it is Nana who needs a bib when feeding me …

Oh and by the way, Nana who was almost ready to give up on the Nana Cam… got a phone call today, and there is still hope we can get this thing working… and you will soon be able to see me…. so I will let you know as soon as it is working.  Until tomorrow, please remember, I love and miss you very much, and I am always your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter

Pretty in Pink!
