The first day of my very first ‘Spring’!

December 2008... you tell me, have I grown....?

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today is March 21rst, which means I have begun my first spring ever… and it is also Great Grandma Sharyn’s birthday!   This is me just after I was born, Nana and that black camera in my face already!  Do you think I have changed?   If you can believe it, here in Michigan, there were flurries this morning, and yet it is suppossed to get into the 50’s today.  GOTTA LOVE MICHIGAN!

I am so glad your cold is better daddy, and I hope mommy is feeling better too.

Today we stayed home and I was weaned off a little of my stomach medicine.   So I was a little sensitive.   Please know I am okay though.  The medicine makes me tired, so it is good to have less  – if I can.   I do grasp at my bottle daddy, but I can’t hold it by myself yet.   I have not yet begun to roll over, but I am getting close… I definately scoot all over my crib… I start at the top of it and by the time Nana gets me out, I am at the bottom.   Last night I went to sleep at midnight, and I did not wake up until about 5:30 am.  SHOCKING… but true.   I then stayed up until about noon, and then took a short nap.    I was really tired yesterday, maybe from our trip to the hospital to visit Mr. Tom and Ms. Pat.  (Whom we are all saying our prayers for… )

I am sorry that mommy had sad news from Nana yesterday too, and we all hope she is okay.  Daddy, please hug her for us, and tell her how much we love her okay?  Nana tells me that life is very hard, but when you are a princess, and you have a mommy and daddy, with all the family I seem to have lovin’ on me, I think life is great, and I for one am so happy that mommy came to be Nana’s girl, and met you, and GAVE ME MY PRINCESS LIFE.    It is a very complicated thing, ‘life’… but if you were me, right here, right now, and you saw all the wonderful things that I see, and that I have to look forward to.   Things like going to the park with daddy and mom, going to the zoo, learning to swim, ride a bike, parties, and playing games, going to climb sand dunes, and movies, and maybe even Disney World one day… there are so many great things that Nana and Poppy did with mom, that one day you guys will do with me, and all because of  this crazy thing called ‘LIFE’.  So many great things to do together… Sometimes choices are made for us, and other times we make choices… but destiny, or things that ‘have been’, from the lives of many people from Romania to the lives of many in the USA,  have all  intertwined and become… my princess world.   I am very lucky.  If I could, I would say Thank you to the great grandparents in Romania who sacrificed so much and made it possilble that I am here today the daughter of  my mom and dad and loved by all who love them… that’s what I say!

I am getting so big, and am learning so many things... So enough heavy stuff, and back to all about me…we had a day of tummy time, and strengthening muscles daddy!  You know… Princess Physical Training … and don’t you worry bout a thing, one day soon, I’ll be runnin’ circles around big cuz Cody, cause it is a known fact… Girls rule, and boys drool…. right now however I drool!

Poppy and Nana say the website is ALL ABOUT GUILLIANNA, and try to limit their stealing my thunder… so pictures of them…. well they are hard to come by… afterall, wouldn’t you much rather look at a most adorable princess.    Every once in a while I will let them sneak in a photo or so of someone else, but these next months, while you are deployed, you can be certain of one thing… ITS MY FACE THAT YOU WILL SEE AND STORIES ALL ABOUT ME… so you know everything I do, and any little change… the other people here.. BOOOOOORING….

Love you very much mom and dad… KISSES AND HUGS and just think we are days away from being together.  I CAN HARDLY WAIT…  Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

  1. Okay princess, you are the most beautiful little baby girl, even when you’re not smiling. We miss you lots and are preparing to come down there next week. I’m glad you’re being good, and naps are a good thing. Lots of love
