Pears… I love pears…

You should have seen Nana, she was covered in baby food!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today is Thursday, and I had Nana Laughing Out Loud.   You see, when we sit down and I attempt to have a little cereal, and fruit, I have a tendency to get it everywhere.   Today however I got pears for the first time… and I have to say, I loved them.   When I got them in my mouth I was so excited that I spit them all over.   Nana… thinking it was a one time thing gave me more, and again I spit them all over her… a spray of liquid pear.   She laughed and that made me think I would do it more… my lunch today was a bit of formula, some pears and some sweet potato’s,  Nana was specked with orange all over her clothes and her face… the pears, well they weren’t as obvious, but boy did she have a mess to clean, and a very good laugh.   It was soooooo funny.

Me LOL

Today was GAP…Great Aunt Pam day, and yes she made the long journey just to see my face today… Nana loves this… and so do I.

I had a great day today, and I am still missing and loving you with all my heart.   Please write me soon…. until then, I am and always will be your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

I am sooooooo adorable.... love these shoes!

PRINCESS,

Guillianna!

P.S.  by the way Mr. GriffMonster… still shedding…

 STILL

GROSS!

Meeting friends….

My friends and I .... hanging out in the party crib!

Dear Mom and Dad,

I was so lucky today, Nana was able to get me into the car and take me to Poppy’s office for a special treat.   I got to meet the Milke’s, friends of Nana and Poppy, and really good people, they were so nice.   Nana had to have x-rays taken and yes she still has two broken feet, but they are getting “bone callous’ which is good.  Sounds gross but is good.   They have been hurting her since November, so she is very happy for some good news.

I was my adorable  self.. and I am happy to say, that I am a chatterbox and quite a laugher… Nana keeps making silly faces, and noises that make me crack up.   You’d crack up too if you had her making silly faces at you.

So I have all kinds of faces for you, my little personality is really starting to appear more and more,

This is my "ARE YOU SERIOUS"... face!

Can you tell what I am thinking?   There are photos of my getting ready to go in my car seat and playing with the crib toys… and to be perfectly honest, I am not a fan of the HUGE FLASH thingy Nana keeps popping in my face… more and more, so I close my eyes for the pics now, which leads to more and more photos…. a new game I have begun.

my.... I am strapped in as if I was going in a rocket to the moon face! This is me, thinking … really Nana, I feel as though Iam strapped in waiting for the rocket to launch me into space..

But I do it, and don’t complain.  I always have fun riding in the car, and get to get out of camp Nana for a bit. So it is nice and worth the hassle.

The weather here is good, it was in the seventies today, and the sun was peeking in and out of clouds, but nice.   It is supposed to rain tomorrow, just in time to reflood THE LAKE in the backyard for our backyardigans to track all through the house, G R O S S  AGAIN, simply gross!

My hair is growing...

In case you wanted to see me without the hat, yes, my hair is starting to grow a bit, and when it is washed, it usually stands straight up on top of my head.  Just like a regulation army cut dad gets…. not sure what color it will be but it is growing.

Maybe I can eat my way out of these straps!Maybe if I gnaw at them long enough,

I could eat my way through these things…

I certainly can give it my best effort…. and no there aren’t any teeth yet, not even a little sign of any coming, I just put everything in there waiting for one to pop!

Bottom Line, I use my eyes to express myself quite a bit...

Yes, the little scratches on my nose are healing. It is  impossible to keep them short enough! When it comes to this, Poppy keeps cutting those daggers of mine and still I find a way to do this… sorry mom, I know you warned Nana about it, but… well I like to be a challenge… I wonder, where I get that trait from?  Hmmmm… anyone know?   Anyway…

I am thinking hard, and learning so much...

I am learning and thinking all the time, and most of all I am loving you both, I will write again tomorrow, and please know I am today as always, your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

Dust bunnies… ‘hare’ balls, WOW..

Looking good!

Hey Mom and Dad…

I hear that there are dust storms in the part of the world you are but I thought you may like to hear about my ‘dust’ story.   I am just writing to say,  I am about to let you in on a little secret…Camp Nana has more than it’s fair share of dust bunnies.  Which makes me wonder, doesn’t a princess get to have people at their castle who take care of  the dust bunnies?  Hmmmm…  I will have to talk with Nana, maybe she is slacking a bit….don’t worry she will do anything for a smile from me… ‘not that I have her “wrapped” or anything…. but you know how the saying goes… and I say if the little finger fits…eh hem…. then it may be – that I have her right where I want her…   So about this hair thing…. Mr. Griff you know Mr. 200 pounder… well, I fear he has fallen below two hundred….

Hair everywhere... G R O S S !

I kid you not, every day Mr. Griff is leaving behind like a pound of hair … it looks like it snowed in this place…certainly the other pets are leaving their fair share but Mr. Griff is taking –  as they say – not only the cake, but the whole darn bakery!  Hands down he is a winner in the shedding department.  (makes a person want to come live here at camp doesn’t it)

If you try to pet him, your hand is covered in hair.  Looks like you have a cashmere mitten on… ‘Tis the season for shedding St. Bernards appearantly… so Miss Arri is a Swiffering machine… no sooner do they get up several bags full, there is more!  GROSS  huh?

I telling you a story.... can you see me telling you....

So today we went to the post office, and then back home.  No big shakes here… Nana has discovered that I laugh at her when she is being silly, so she spent a great deal of her day doing silly things to make me smile.  Probably good that she doesn’t have a webcam, her silliness all over the internet would be scary to the rest of the family…. for me… it’s entertaining.

All in all, the summary for the day… I was adorable, I was good, no change that to I was perfect, I love you both very much.  Pretty much the same as every other day.   I did get some new rattles, and some new teething key rings, I am just a two fister when it comes to holding them, love gnawing on them, and love talking.   I squeal when I am really excited.   It is the loudest thing… it scares me sometimes when I do it… but then I just laugh… I will go back next month for a check up in the weight department, and for a cardiology update…. but really I am just doing great.  I am getting bigger because I have out grown so many outfits.

Just so you know,  I don’t drive yet, and the overprotective one, well obviously according to the rest of the Aunt’s living here, you need not worry about me having too many ‘liberties’ she runs a tight ship… but all in all it is pretty much a party everyday, no real complaints… since I am officially too young for the chores, and the DOG HAIR  and other doggie ‘present’, CLEAN UP PATROL, (thank goodness)…. I am skating around any of that kind of activity and just ‘livin large’ as they say.  Minor exceptions…the constant NANA SONGS… WHICH ARE ABOUT EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING…and.. sharing my photo ops … but otherwise…. Life is good!   As always, your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Here I am, looking pretty in PINK!

Adorable in any color, but especially fond of

P I N K…

HAPPY 5TH PRINCESS-VERSARY!

"Happy Princess-versary to MEEEEEE, Happy Princess-versary to me!"

Dear Mom and Dad,

It is May 4th, 2009 and I am five months old.  I AM, and it feels good.   Today, I took a lot of photos for your princess-versary present, since we could not mail you anything.   Nana says she can’t wait for an address, and her friends at the post office, well they too want us to get one soon so we can send care packages… AND I CAN GO WITH HER TO VISIT all her friends at the US post office.    Uncle Nick is coming home in less time than it takes for things to arrive to him so we have curtailed our POSTAL SERVICE visits… so sad… I love them, they always make a big deal when I come in… but then again everyone always is making a fuss over me…

Am I cute or what?

Today, Nana was missing Poppy so much, that she loaded up my stuff, and off we went to see him at work.   When she was young, and full of energy she used to bring him care packages at his work, little picnics or a treat of some sort, today she got all sentimental tried to be “young” again.   I say… leave that stuff to the young people Nana… your too old to be thinking like a 27 year old now…  Not that I am pushing you towards a cane, walker or anything, but geez… you’ve been married nearly two DECADES already… but no… Nana still misses Poppy when every they are apart…  I say… G R O S S …

Yes, I took a lot of photos today, but ... it's your five month-versary!

The good news however is that even if Nana acts like a love sick goof… I got to go out in the world and was adored by Papa Alan, Uncle Dave, all the staff at their office, and patients too!    AWESOME HUH…. (sorry GG-ma, you got the suprise visit last week, and now Papa got one) Something about being fair I guess…  so we brought some bagels to everyone because Nana says, she thinks that Poppy is so lucky to have so many wonderful faces working there, for so long, and she remembers working, and how much she loved it when people noticed the hard work.  Well Poppy does notice, and tells her all the time – so she picked up some bagels, some cream cheese and WELL THE BEST PART, me to visit of coarse, and then we came back to CAMP NANA!  So I was looking pretty spiffy…and had a blast visiting today…. Nana, well she had a blast seeing Poppy… “GROSS, MUSHY GROSS”….  but, I will focus on the baby adoration, and she can focus on her McDreamy.   I hope you are doing okay… and maybe you can come back sooner than later.  It’s a Princess-versary, we can all close our eyes and WISH… right?   Nana says anything is possible.

Me and my Gugu Bunny sitting in the chair!

The last time I sat in this chair, I was sooooo small and I could barely sit… now, I am lovin the whole ‘sitting up’ thing… and holding up my head, even though my cheeks are quite heavy… I do a darn good job… but, I am not so keen on sharing the spotlight with GuGu Bunny, but … whatever I did, … here is one last shot of me in my 5 month old princess-versary hat and some really beautiful eyes, I am going to close them and make my princess-versary wish!  I hope it tides you over till my next picture which will be… hmmmmm, let me see, TOMORROW!   By the way, I ate good today, I rode in the car awesome, and took a massively fun bath tonight, camp is good… hope you are both well, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.  Love always, Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

BIG BLUE might be my new nick name....

Guillianna!
