25 Years –

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today was another super day.   I was very good, and my teething pain has decreased so much…. I only had to have Tylenol once.   No more low grade fever, and really they seem to be through the gums now.  There are two… and they are ADORABLE, as you can imagine.  Here I am taking a ride around camp… me riding in my new car is useful in so many ways… with all of Mr. Griffy’s fur shedding, and kitty hair, I make an excellent human swiffer!   Nah, not really, but you know me always looking for a way to be helpful here at Camp Nana.  Personally, I am all for Nana moving out all the furniture so I can have my own personal “autobahn’.

Poppy and Nana have friends, mommy knows them and daddy met them in April.  Ms. Lois and Mr. Dale, they are so nice.   They thier children gave them a surprise party for their 25th wedding anniversary and us campers were all invited.  It was so odd to think a quarter of a century has passed for them as a couple.  And yes, this makes Nana all MUSHY and SENTIMENTAL.   Surprisingly no one had to whip out tissues, but if necessary you know I’d be there, with butt wipes in hand for the old sappy woman.     Here I am at their surprise party sitting on a swing with Aunt Arrianna… yes, it is August 1rst here in MICHIGAN and YES I NEEDED A JACKET TODAY… it’s Michigan!

PRETTY CUTE HUH?   It is my very first time on a real swing!

In twenty five years, you and daddy will be in your forties!   Yes, I said it, your forties…  Nana and Poppy they will be in their seventies!   Do you think that sounds like a long time?   WELL BE SURE NOT TO SAY THAT IN FRONT OF NANA, CAUSE SHE WILL INFORM YOU ON EXACTLY HOW FAST THAT MUCH TIME GOES BY….and from what I gather IT’S DARN FAST!  Nana looked at the photos of Mr. Dale and Ms. Lois, and she knows how much they have endured through the years,  and how they have enjoyed  – through the years.   She is so happy for them to still be in love, and to have each other.   So tonight she is hoping for her kids, and in particularat this time, for the married ones with a princess… THAT LIFE IS GOOD TO THEM, that they find happiness and strength in each other, and more than anything she hopes that one day, I the princess,  can throw my mom and dad a totally awesome surprise 25th wedding anniversary party like the one we were at today.   If I do, Nana says she will be the one sitting in a corner somewhere…. with a box of tissues, being sappy.   She says, that she can hardly recognize herself anymore, she has changed so much in the past few years, but ONE THING FOR CERTAIN, she WILL BE THE SAPPY ONE WITH TISSUES and easy to find, sniffling in a corner.

Please know that I love you both very much.   I will write you tomorrow,  and  know that as always I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

July Comes to an End!

Dear Mom and Dad,

As you know, I have been lucky to spend Friday’s with the campers and Great Grandma Sharyn and Great Papa…but today, we had an extra special chance to visit with them, and cuz Steven, Bryan, Uncle Dave, Aunt Kris and her parents, Cyd and Larry who are visiting from Arizona.   We don’t really ever get much of a chance to do this kind of thing, but Steven, Bryan and Great Papa all have birthday’s in August.  So  CAN ANYONE SAY…. FIELD TRIP,  and boy do I love field trips.   Tonight was no exception.  FRIDAY’S ARE FUNDAY’S!

This is the last day of July, and it got me thinking… do you know what next week is… ?  It is my 8th princess-versary.   To think..

2 MONTHS OLD

Then in

March, 2009

3 Months Old

  THEN….

We had my special day in April.

I was 4 Months Old, and so precious!

Five Months Old, in May of 2009.

Seems April Showers did bring May flowers, and I LOVE THE FLOWERS AND BEING OUTSIDE!

Then is was June, and I was as adorable as ever, and doing all kinds of big girl stuff, like eating solid food, and playing so hard.

I sit in my princess chair, and am laughing all the time now….

So that is my”quick” review of photos, thus far at camp Nana…

Today’s photo’s are me in my gorgeous pink party dress, at our dinner date with Papa and GG-ma.  Thank you for having us Uncle Dave and Aunt Kris.  Happy Birthday cuz’ Bryan and Steven.

I was happy to be there and well let’s face it… I am somethin’ special…

That’s what everyone keeps saying.

Still no Nikon Supermodel contract though..

I will write more tomorrow, and let you know what is shaking here at Camp Nana.   Not much planned but I am sure the zoo ooohh, I meant Camp will have some kind of stuff going on to tell you about.

Dear Miss Understanding… and Helpful!

MY MOM WAS ABLE TO SEE ME TODAY IN MY CRIB… ALL THE WAY IN THE LAND OF SAND…. AND  WOW WAS SHE WAS HAPPY!  MY NANA AND POPPY, AS WELL AS MY MOM AND DAD SAY THANK YOU FOR KEEPING UP THE HARD WORK TO MAKE THE NANACAM WORK WHAT AN AWESOME DAY FOR  MY SUPERHERO SOLDIER PARENTS TO BE ABLE TO SEE THEIR SUPERHERO BABY GIRL ALL THE WAY FROM THERE TO HERE AT CAMP NANA IN MICHIGAN!   NOW WHEN THEY ARE UP AND ABOUT, THEY CAN CHECK IN ON ME AND MY PRINCESS DREAMS!   ‘Thank you, from all of us!’

Me and My Car, after all I am in Detroit you know!

Dear Mom and Dad,  I’ve been thinking… (see above, me thinking!)

Since I am a camper in Michigan, and Detroit is the car capital of the world… I figure it is time I get my own wheels.  

Don’t I look adorable?  Please note my hand signal skills…

Excuse me… coming through! (taken by Uncle Nick’s phone, since I won’t slow down for anyone to catch me!)

And I rec’d some princess presents from mom and dad  too.   They sent me  my very own princess rocking horse.

I am a little small for it right now,  but will be bigger soon  and will grow into it.

P.S.  Still teething.  Yuk!  But Great Aunt Pam came out today and made me smile up a storm.   She and Uncle Nick put together my car… and I am cruisin’ around, beepin my horn and laughing as I go around camp! Sweet dreams Mom and Dad.  I’ll talk with you tomorrow.   By the way Mom, Nana got your message and says… Thank you!  Nana says thanks to all the campers and Gappy too!   They all deserve to be told just how lucky Nana thinks she is.
