November is here!

Dear Guillianna and Elijah :

The busy holiday season approaches and we hope the joy and excitement of the holidays brings all of you so much happiness. The beginning of the school year has likely become the end of a card marking and we can hope and would bet- it’s been a great one for you both !

The memories of great students and excellent citizenship and IB awards will carry both of you through where ever your educational path leads you no doubt. Keep being amazing !

November is Aunt Kiki’s birthday and Poppy too. Turkey day and then we will be at the double digit birthday of Guillianna! Ten years old ! Amazing. The Christmas holiday and New Year will rapidly follow… with maybe a Christmas pageant or concert in there ! Mrs. Hall surely misses the two of you in class preparing for the concerts since you both loved doing them so much !

Great Grandma Sharyn and Poppa are doing good and visit with Uncle David quite a bit since Papa retired. They miss and love you very much ! Noah and Rachel have gone off to college and they are doing very good. Great Grandma Sally is also doing good, is recovering from a bad cold but hopes you are both doing good and she surely misses you so much too. Love ❤️ is always sent to you from the Mitten – and the every one sends love and hope for you to be well, stay sweet and kind, listen to mom and dad, make great choices and always work super hard at school.

We hope very much to be able to see you soon and wish for Mom and Dad to know the love in our hearts and all the good in your lives from your time in the Mitten!

Another day gone by …

Dear Guillianna and Elijah-

This was surely an odd Halloween ? for us.  We are so used to having you around for this holiday !   I can’t help but wonder if you’re both thinking of the trick or treat times here in the Mitten too ?  Hopefully not, and you are just having too much fun where you are instead, but just in case, here are some photos for you of this years trick or treat  and old times in the Mitten !

I went to your old school today to do a small favor for Ms.Campbell, And look who I found …

They all miss you two very much !

Uncle Dwan , Aunt Allyssa, Gray, Elena and Cole came by, and so did Uncle Nick, Aunt Liz and Bash. aunt Kiki, Uncle Ricky, Janai and Anthony FaceTimed. Sadly,  we cannot call you since mom and dad changed their numbers and feel you do not want to see or talk to us, but instead we still continue to send cards and hope you get them. We had pizza and salad and yes there is always  lots of candy … but truly everyone missed seeing you both because let’s face it every Halloween has definitely more fun when all of you cousins are together.  We hope your trick or treat was fun – we hear the base changed it to yesterday due to bad weather expected your way , We we’re lucky it was warmer and nice outside for a change this Halloween!

Then we can think about last year and the many years before and picture you two …. so many costumes…. some photos are a bit blurry, as the images were initially small, and some from when you were infants, I didn’t post this time, but will later in the future.

There are so many more old photos, remember the  McQueen, astronaut, lady bug costumes, and oh so so many more… Poppy and I uploaded over ten thousand photos the other day to preserve for all our children and grandchildren to keep. Memories for everyone to find something they love or cherish someday !

We will now get ready for November Aunt KiKi will have a birthday so will Poppy and it will be Thanksgiving soon. Followed by another special occasion a 10 th birthday ! Oh my TEN – how special ! WE CAN HOPE NOVEMBER is a month for being thankful and grateful – that mom will be grateful for all her dad and mom are to her. That she will see its best for her kids to see their grandparents. We can always have hope.

I hear there are only 8 more “Fridays” until Christmas ! That is hard to believe !
