The Campers Keep Dressing Me Up!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Here in the states today the news was full of special reports on terrible bombings in the Land of Sand… it was very good to hear from you both today. 

In light of all the seriousness, Aunt Allyssa took her shot at dressing me up today, and snapped a photo with a cell phone, so it is not really clear, but you can see Aunt Allyssa all over this get up… SCARF… BOOTS… if I didn’t know better I would swear I am ready for a trip to the Middle East… but you know No Fun Nana, she says the place for a baby is here in MICHIGAN!

As silly as it is, I love dress up, and left this thingy on my head for ever… it was fun!  The boots however… well, they lasted only seconds.

I spent the day working on the crawl, and getting ready for Halloween… again, No FUN NANA, IS NOT A FAN, and has special plans for Halloween, something about “trick or treat” at family and friends, so if anyone wants a visit from me, they better let Nana and Poppy know…. cause they plan on bringing me to see some folks around town.  The rest of my family and friends will get a special photo shoot from me that day, so they can see me in my special costume mommy picked for me!   But I understand the other campers will be here passing out CANDY to little trick or treaters…so I practiced that just to see how it all works.  As you can see, I am in need of some practice, but considering it was a first time effort, I did great!

and yes, I am still working on the ‘Princess Crawl’…  here I am, hope you love watching this… Aunt Arri is not really holding anything… I just like someone down here with me… and yes it is true, everything is better when I am the center of attention.

Hey Mama, Do You Remember This?

Dear Mom and Dad,

So, I was exploring at camp today, and guess what I found… when Mama was a little girl, she used to always wear this fleece when she was cold.

Yep, I played dress up with Mama’s fleece… and had a blast!

I cannot wear this thing to crawl that is for sure, between fleece jammers, and Mama’s old fleece, there is no chance I could catch a cold that is for sure!  The beast captured my cute little personality today, so here are a few shots to show you how much fun I can be…. I cannot wait until we can play together… and maybe if you are good, I will let you have your warm fleece back…YOU WILL NEED IT since by the time we see each other it will be below freezing here in MICHIGAN.   I must say, it sure is pretty here right now… everything gold, red, and yellow.  The autumnal colors are fantastic!

So after having a blast playing dress up like mama, I spent quality time with the campers, since Nana was a bit under the weather today.  I have learned to clap… and if you ask me to clap, I will…

I promise you I am still working on the crawl thing… but am NOT A FAN!

We went to get groceries today, and we played all afternoon.  I am not tired, yet, but all the Aunties and Uncle are ready for bed.   Does that tell you anything about how it will be guys… I AM HOPING YOU ARE NOT SLEEPERS EITHER, cause I figure 24 hours in a day is just not enough… Nana says no… all babies need lots and lots of sleep… I SAY WELL  NANA, I AM NOT JUST ANY BABY!

I am LITTLE MISS CURIOUS, AND LITTLE MISS INQUIZATIVE…(and incase ANY OF MY FANS have information on this, an all points bulletin has been issued for a pair of missing sparkly shoes..   🙂   and the person in possession, well he or she…. gets dinner on me when they find their way back to MICHIGAN!)  By the way… it’s the PERSON who is wanted, not the shoes… I have plenty… so… PERSON… where ever you are… travel safely back to Michigan… you’re smile is missed by everyone at camp!

I hope to have an awesome day tomorrow, since it is Sunday and we get to spend it together.   It is fall here, so leaves need to get raked and patio furniture will be put away for winter, but after that, it is PLAY PLAY PLAY all day!  Until tomorrow Mom and Dad…. know that I am doing so good, I am very happy, and love you both very much.   As always, I am your little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Chipmunks AT CAMP NANA?

Dear Mom and Dad….

So today being FABULOUS and FUN Friday, it brings us to the end of yet another week at Camp Nana.   I have been doing great, and loving all of the awesome attention that I get here.   I have made so many friends, and loved being a part of all the family fun… but CHIPMUNKS AT CAMP NANA?   Come on…  I was freakin’ out.

OKAY, so they are cute… like me… BUT-

and yes, it is a known fact that CHUBBY CHEEKS AND TWO TEETH CAN BE ADORABLE,   but still, Nana come on, CHIPMUNKS?  Oh my….let me see this “chipmunk”

 Oh Nana you were right, she is cute, and has cheeks like me, and even if her two teeth are on top and mine are on the bottom it appears I have a new friend…. and she sings too… which is quite a nice little attribute as it may take up some of Nana’s singing time…(unless Nana sings with the chipmunk!)

Meet CHIPPY, a new friend… who sings and dances… and makes me smile.

I am happy to share my time at camp with the chipmunk Nana, I know she used to belong to Poppy… but he has donated her to the GUILLIANNA AND FRIENDS CLUB, so I say thank you Poppy.   What did you need a pink chipmunk for anyway?   One that sings SUGAR SUGAR, YOU ARE MY CANDY BABE, AND YOU GOT ME WANTING YOU?  Hmmmm…..  I bet Nana gave this to you… WELL SHE IS MINE FOR NOW… and don’t worry Poppy, I share!  So tonight was a visit with the great grandparents… we had dinner together… which is a very nice thing for all the campers.   It makes the whole week complete.   The drove so far to eat with us, and we are so grateful they did.   We had some delish dinner, and the campers are so happy they have some left overs for lunch tomorrow, because it is another very busy day.   School for some work for others and me… well, CHIPPY AND ARE ARE PLANING SOME FUN FILLED CHEEK EXCERCISES TO KEEP OUR ADORABLE CHEEKS LOOKING HAPPY AND SWEET!

I am getting so big, sitting in my rocker, and posing for the beast!  Look I am counting the days until I see you again!

I love you both so much, and maybe tomorrow Nana will put up a video of me with Chippy… we will see, until then, I hope you have a good day, and think of me, my friend Giselle, Baby GuguGiraffe, and now… Chippy my little MUNKSTER!  Until tomorrow, I am as always, YOUR LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, LITTLE MISS CHIPMUNK CHEEKS, your daughter,

Me and My Friend Giselle Giraffe

Dear Mom and Dad,

Days here are camp are pretty”typical” and so many days are just like the day before, that it is not easy to show you something new and exciting .   You have seen me at play in my tunnels or practice crawling… you see me swim, or looking adorable… and you have seen me a bit ago with my then new friend… GISELLE GIRAFFE, and her baby giraffe… Gugu Giraffe.    Today, I was playing with Giselle… and well… we had a little tiff.

Why you ask?  Well let me tell you….we were haning out on the couch together… and then she says to me… hey… you got something hanging from your mouth baby…

Well I am too little for it to be hormones, but it just struck me wrong, and I was sensitive…  She may be a mama giraffe, only my mama can tell me if I have something hangin’ and I let her know it.

After I gave her a piece of my mind, and let her know that she hurt me little feelings… then I decided… what the heck…

 Before you knew it, she and I were best buds again.  Here we are and I am giving her a kiss…

They are calling me Mini the Smoocher… (or Nana does after some old song called Minnie the Moocher for those who are old enough!  Be smart don’t admit it, I like to let Nana think she is ANCIENT) since I have just mastered, giving big wet smoochies…  WITH A LITTLE NIBBLE EVERY NOW AND THEN!

So after we kissed and made up, we played… and played, and played… Giselle and I till it was time for bed.  

I LOVE YOU MAN!  YOU…. I LOVE YOU!

All in all, I had a great day.

I hung with Nana, and helped her get important stuff done today.

I laughed, I played and have mastered the art of giving smoochies….

I played with Giselle and Baby GuguGiraffe, and didn’t take any of Mama Giselle’s lip… like I said, Mr. Griff takes the cake in the drool department… no body picks on me… right Mom! 

Personally, I think it has so much more to do with the fact that I was up until one in the morning… and then went to sleep for an hour or two at a time until about 7:30 a.m.   Still an insomiac… and hoping it will pass when the teeth get through!

I hope you had a good day, and didn’t get into any battles with Giraffes…. they can be tough… can’t wait till you are home, and I don’t have to worry about you two in the land of sand… where I am sure your plates are full like mine  (she said sarcastically) here battling Giraffes and making headway in the civil rights of all babies who drool.    Until tomorow, dear mom and dear dad, please know I AM, YOUR LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, your little Miss Drooling Teether… your daughter,
