When Nana Smiles…I smile!

Dear Mom and Dad,

It is Wednesday and I just want you to know that Nana smiles every time she sees you guys are okay, and gets a love letter from you two.   THANK YOU for writing me, I know you are both so busy now, and it is hard for you, but you do make Nana smile – and me too! 

Today was just another day at camp.  Nana told me how mommy used to love looking at fish.   I definitely think I get that from you mommy!   And Mimi says daddy was a ‘power house’ and an entrepeneur working and earning his way from early on – on the go all the time, and I think I get that from him!   Cool huh?   I think so.   I am so happy.   I love eating baby food, and yes, I love my bottle, and playing with toys.  I love to put EVERY SINGLE THING IN MY MOUTH, no matter what it is I will try to fit it in.   Today we went to visit a NANA doctor, thank goodness not a Guillianna doctor, sorry Nana… but I prefer to be the one taking someone to the doctor, than being the patient.   The doctor was nice, and says Nana is good to go!   Hi –  to Mrs. Sharon, Mrs. Cindy, and Mrs. Mildred as well as Dr. and Mrs. H., thanks for letting me hang out and stay with Nana while Nana got checked out!    After that, we went to Poppy’s office, and Nana had an x-ray.   I stayed with Aunt Mikayla in the conference room.   Not as fun as the Rainforest fieldtrip but still cool.

Nana brought me back home, and I did a little tummy time and I was so strong.  Mom and dad, want to see me in my crib now?  I love playing in there, as a matter of fact I prefer playing to sleeping.  

Also please note, I have been drooling quite a bit, and Nana says, I am most likely looking to get a tooth pretty soon.  I am just inches from rolling over too, but have not just yet done it on my own, I need just a tad of help still. 

Nana took a few too many maybe, but figures you would like to see just a bit more of me…

Then the the best part of the day… we packed up, Poppy, Nana, Aunt Mikayla, Aunt Alyx, Aunt Allyssa, Aunt Arri, the ‘BB’ and I!   Who is the BB you ask?   WELL THE BLACK BEAST OF COURSE, and we went to dinner with GG-ma, and Papa, before they leave on a short trip out of town.   Here I am with GG-ma… looking pretty adorable.

I am often passed around and let’s be honest, I THINK I AM TOTALLY THE MOST LOVED ON LITTLE BABY IN ALL OF MICHIGAN.   Nana has a theory, she says she gets to give me a kiss from each of you every minute of every day, it is in the Nana rule book… I am thinking that with the other rule where she can give me kisses from Grandmonsters in PA, and Mimi’s in CA, Aunts in Texas and Great Aunts in Texas and CA… I have no time to not be kissed.   So I am thinking  mom and dad you better write an addendum to this rule book limiting kisses …. eh… nah… maybe not… I guess being kissed on all the time is pretty fun and pretty cool,  Actually,  as a princess, I should probably get used to it.   

With this face, and those cheeks, I am pretty hard to resist….

Nana says, if you could you would be kissin’ on me too… so she just gets them in for you..

FIELDTRIP! A ‘Rainforest’ Safari!

Hey there Mom and Dad,

It’s me, the ‘Safari Girl’!  Yes, Nana did finally charged up the batteries on the black beast, and took me back to see the fish…. so here I am!

Nana took pictures to show you why I like strolling around inside the shop, it has big trees that I can look up at and every few minutes there is a thunderstorm.

There is a latex balloon up at the ceiling here, Nana risked it though for me…. to watch the fish and for me to show you my adventure!

I really do like it and even though it gets dark I crack up when the lights come on, and when Nana tries to leave the Rainforest Cafe, I cry.

 Silly….

There are a bazillion toys there, and I love the colors, and noises, and waterfalls.

The people who work there must think Nana is crazy.  She was there yesterday, and again today, both times with me and the BLACK BEAST, and let’s just say, they are all probably wondering what the heck she is up to.  Today while we were there she got some pictures of me by the aquarium.

I love this fieldtrip, and to top it all off, Nana got me a special outfit.  I told her I wanted a pair of ACU’s remember… well you saw me in my first picture on today’s love letter, but let me just say I think I could pass for a soldier … what do you think?   Here is mommy and  then me…

I could fit right in there with you guys!   Nana says NO though, she  is no fun, says babies belong here and will WAIT for mommies and daddies to come HOME.  But believe me when I say, I’d come if I could.   Nana says, Mom will probably remember that she is kinda strict…

I am pretty cute and AND yes Nana went crazy with the black beast today, guess she figures she has a lot of battery power or something, or maybe it’s just that she thinks I am sooooo cute.

I told her thank you and don’t worry I AM BEING SOOOOOO GOOD!   Can’t you tell from my photo’s,  I wouldn’t cause trouble I promised Nana I would wait for you to come home to start any trouble.

Today when we went out it was because Nana had to do some banking for Uncle Nick, and luckily she left my stroller in the car yesterday, because we would have gotten to the store, and there would not have been a stroller… silly Nana… luckily we got the banking done, and had extra time to get you these pictures…and me some ACU’s!

I think the Army would love this face!  And I am an awesome negotiator!  I know exactly how to get what I want when I want it….

Nana… where’s your head?

Hey there Mom and Dad,

First let me say, to my daddy-O, I know you guys can’t call, I was just letting mom know that Nana misses hearing her voice is all.  I know you are sooooo busy, NOT TO MENTION FAR AWAY, and  surprisingly, I even though I am GREAT and dictating my love letters to Nana, I am not so good on the phone, when mommy called, I snoozed right through it…. sorry mom.   I just love getting notes from you both, I can save them forever, and when I can read… I will have a lot of catching up to do. 

Second, not to make you nervous or anything… but… we had an INTERESTING DAY… it started normal, and I was perfect of course… and I ate a new thing that Poppy got me, that Nana says, tastes and smells like vanilla pudding, but it is a baby food, called VANILLA AND GRAINS… uh yeah, my thoughts exactly, but let me tell you  GOOD STUFF, I loved it, ate it all, and just want to say, didn’t spit any of that on Nana, cause I wanted every little bit…

After I ate, Nana had a brilliant idea… she had to go buy new postage stamps for Aunt Arrianna’s graduation announcements… (only a few more days woo woo Aunt Arri) so it meant… you know it  – FIELD TRIP – !

First, I went to see my friends at the U.S. Postal Service, and Miss Mary was there today as well as all the usual gang that I usually get to see. I smiled for them.   Nana got her stamps and then came the crazy part… Nana also thought she would take me to the mall by the post office, and take a photo of me at the Rainforest Cafe, since I just love watching the fish in the water tank, and the decorations everywhere.   I LOVE THAT PLACE… she loaded me up, brought the BLACK BEAST to photograph me, took my stroller, and all my PRINCESS NECESSITIES, as well as all her old lady necessisities… and we were off…now first of all, Nana is not in the best physical shape let’s just say, and lifting me and my car seat, hmmm, NOT PRETTY… but we go slow… R E A L L Y    S L O W , and I have to say, I MEAN  RRRRRREEEEEEEAAAALLLLY slow, but eventually she can get me where I need to be.  

YES, THIS DOES MEAN, SLOW GRANDPARENTS, not to slow down for them!   I am convinced!

We arrive at the Rainforest Cafe, me in my darling little princess purple dress and sun bonnet, and matching shoes, with what else, ruffle socks, and the most adorable smiles you ever wanted to see… whilst looking on at the bubbles and fish… the black beast taken out and the lens cap off…. AND THE BATTERY DEAD!    Nana, seriously, did you really bring me all the way here to look at a DEAD BLACK BEAST!   So we loaded back into the car seat stroller, and walked back to the car, and went home….. NO PHOTOS FOR MOM AND DAD OF ME AND THE FISH!    So I will repeat, not to worry you, but Nana, needs a check list before she tries to do anything without Poppy… and from now on, won’t be such a ‘SLOW THINKING’ NANA!  Good news is, chances are I get another field trip another day to take my photo with the fish, right?

We went home and spent the evening with all the family since my Aunts that go to the University are done!   NO more packed lunches and dinners for them, which makes them happy.   I personally would pack them VANILLA MULTI-GRAIN CEREAL – if I were camp director.   Well, until tomorrow, just know I love you both very much, I am being good, and I am always, your –

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today I woke up and was so good for Poppy, after we spent the morning hanging around, Nana had to go to the store, and so the three of us grocery shopped, while the Aunt’s slept in and got some much needed rest after the CLEAN A THON yesterday.    When we came home, they went to visit Great Grandma Sharyn and watch the hockey game with her.  After we all hung out at the dinner table, and I was again Little Miss Adorable,

 It was so nice to hear from mommy today, I am sorry I was taking a nap, but next time you call, I am hoping I will be up and you can here one of my stories…   Love you both sooooo much,
