Mitten State Cookies = FIELDTRIP

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today I was having such a good day, I got love letters back from both Mom and Dad.  My day was good, I helped Nana… the people here in Michigan, are “crazy” about thier little Mitten State… did you know you can bake cookies the shape of the State?  Well, you can…. Nana had gotten a cookie cutter the shape of Michigan so she could send Uncle Nick some cookies, hoping it would help remind him to come home soon.  When she was talking with Aunt Kris the other day, she said she would love make Michigan cookies to because she has family out of town!   And because of that, Nana went to the store that sells everything about Michigan.  THAT MEANS FIELDTRIP FOR ME…. woo woo…

Yes indeed, I love riding in the car… Nana took the stroller and we went on our errand!   On our way to the little shop in the mall that has EVERYTHING MICHIGAN, I strolled through Rainforest Cafe…. and loved looking at the Rainforest decor.  Fish were swimming in HUGE tanks and I just loved to watch them.  Maybe Nana should put like that over my crib…. nah… I would stay up all night watching fish swim…

I have my next doctor appointment scheduled.  It is in June, and I will get more shots then , and a cardiology follow up exam in June too… Nana will let you know – but it is all routine baby stuff… ‘CAUSE I AM  FABULOUS AND GROWING AND JUST PLAIN DOING GOOD.   These pictures were taken with Nana’s camera in her cell phone, because she never charged her battery for what I call the BLACK BEAST!   Usually the photo shoots are done with THE BEAST, and it’s big beast flash.   She even thinks about pulling out the Black  Beast, I start posing…. so tomorrow, there will be better photos, until then, I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter

Taco’s?

Hi Mom and Dad,

I had a great day today.  I got to sit in my new swing and love it, and I sat in my little red chair, that helps my back be strong so I will be able to sit up on my own, both were incredibly fun.   Today the zoo chaos continued.  Mr. B, well he got sick on Nana’s bed… so she had to take all the bedding, including the down comforter to the cleaners… and if that wasn’t fun enough two of the three dogs, well lets just say they had VERY NERVOUS STOMACH’S and it left them wanting to go outside over and over and over agian…  Here I am focused on what Nana is making for dinner when suddenly I spotted what I wanted, and would not stop looking at it until I could touch it…

So they let me… I was really wanting to see that colorful thing down on the counter….

Sometimes you just gotta have a taco you know?

I was an angel.  I did all my princess chores … like smiling, and cooing and I also helped make dinner with Nana… I just so felt like a Taco tonight… but the only thing I got was this box! 

Personally I think Taco Bell could use a new spokesperson… I am cuter that that little TacoBell Dog….

So, I was stuck with my usual ‘formula’, and will have to wait on the Taco thing till I am a bit older.

Hello… Mom, Happy Mother’s Day from Michigan to Iraq!

Hellooooooo…..

It’s me, Little Miss, calling Mommy today to say…. Happy Mother’s Day!  I love you and miss you.. and daddy too…   I am dressed in my cammi’s and trying to be the best little soldier’s daughter ever… I AM MOMMY’S LITTLE SIDEKICK TODAY!  

So today we went to Baby’s R Us, and I got this new little seat that helps princess’ learn how to sit up independently.

I love it…

I can sit up and no one can really tell that Poppy is under the blanket behind me in my photo shoot just to be sure I dont fall….

He is so funny…

Probably a bit hot under there huh?

So, we were going to bathe the pooches, but … Poppy had to take them to Petco… because the little knots behind their ears were sooooo bad, and they needed the love and expertise of a Petco professional…

I also got a new bathtub today.   I outgrew the one Nana had for me, and I so this new one is totally awesome.   It has it’s own little shower head, and Nana can use it without having to be down on the ground in with me.  One of those old person things I guess, but I get the best part of it, because my little tub is totally awesome.   I got two cases of formula while there and a swing.  So really I am loving this Mother’s Day thing, seems the Princess got the presents…. hee hee hee…. LIKING THAT A BUNCH…

So you may wonder what I do with my time…

I love playing with toys now.   Look how intensely I play..

Play hard, Live Large….

that’s my new motto..

and I am sticking to it…

I have no other big plans for the next few weeks… I have to work on learning how to play, play, play… I am working on eating some solid foods, my hand eye co ordination, and all of this while being adorable, and a princess at the same time…EXHAUSTING work isn’t it.   But I am managing, and really… no complaints from camp…. I am not even going to complain today about MR. GRIFF MONSTER’s shedding… JUST going to keep trying to call you on my phone and tell you a GUILLIANNA STORY… which let me say, my stories…. are very very exciting and interesting… and often full of laughs!  I am not sure if the Aunts are fully understanding… but I will give them time, and keep trying… I will have them speaking my language in no time… I ‘talk’ quite a bit, with an occassional squeal that scares me sometimes  – it is so loud.   I then realize it was me, and smile… and do it again just because I can!  Here I am eating cereal today

I have this thing for spraying Nana… it makes me laugh… and here I am resting with Mr. B… he needed some Nana love too… so I share…

So you can see today was full of LOVIN’ GUGU… and trying to get me ready for when we are physically able to be together…. cause mom, and dad… I am with you every day in my princess heart.  Until tomorrow,when I will fill you in on just how cool my new bath tub is… please remember I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Saturday – A date with Great Grandma…

Dear Mom and Dad,

Tonight we spent with GG-ma, Papa, Uncle Dave, Aunt Kris, Steven, Bryan and of course our gang… we missed visiting with Aunt Shirley because she was unable to be there…..(tear)….

But Poppy was able to have dinner with his mom for Mother’s Day.  I got to be adorable… and have everyone make a big deal over me, so I was diggin it… except for the flash… THAT THING IS STARTING TO BUG ME..  I keep closing my eyes… and that only leads to Ms. Camera happy to snap more shots, and I just blink more… crazy… but this is me in my party dress… looking like a princess for Mommy to see on Mother’s Day!  

I think that it is funny that Nana has such a hard time getting a photo of me with my eyes open, see I am NOT ASLEEP,

I am just thinking if I close my eyes that bright thing will stop going off..

BUT Noooooooooo!

It just keeps on going like a darn STROBE….

Can princess’ say darn?

Well I did cause let me just tell you THAT THING IS ANNOYING!

This is me, taking a break for all the company and snoozin in my seat, a favorite thing to do… still adorable when sleeping though huh?

Personally I am not planing on celebrating this ‘mother’s day until we can spend it together…other than maybe a Love Letter tomorrow just to let you know I am thinking about you… WHICH I DO CONSTANTLY… sooooo tomorrow won’t be so very different…. I WILL WAKE UP THINKING ABOUT YOUR AND THEN NANA WILL SING A SONG ABOUT YOU, AND THEN I WILL EAT BREAKFAST, AND SHE WILL STILL BE TELLING ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOU… AND WHEN I TAKE A MORNING NAP I WILL DREAM ABOUT YOU…. and on and on and on… so don’t you fret Mommy… you’ll be thought of…. AND since I KNOW youre thinking of me… it’ll all be cool.  Unil tomorrow please know that I love you both very much, and as always I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,
