What is a Princess-versary? It’s a “THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME A PRINCESS” DAY
Dear Mom and Dad…
Tonight Daddy is on Staff Duty, which means he will be working all night, and just like old times he will be up all night. Memories huh dad!
Since you will be sleeping tomorrow and so very tired dad, I sent mom the princess-versary treat today, so she would not be alone tonight and so that she knows what a lucky little princess I am for having such strong parents. Mom, you should have received some beautiful pink flowers from your little princess with a special card telling you how much you are loved, and thanking you for giving birth to me.
Today was fun, I played with Nana all day. I napped for about 30 minutes in the middle, but am starting to really spend more and more time familiarizing myself with things around me. I love looking at the big black and white dog they call Mr. Griff. His head is as big as my whole body, and he lays next to me where ever I am.
Kitties are fun to watch too. I love walking around with Nana, and looking at all the pictures on the wall and am especially fond of the big black and white ones.
Tomorrow I am 3 months old. I am celebrating this day the way all little princess’ do. I celebrate you… BECAUSE with out you, and all the care you took carrying me in your tummy, without you having the pain of the C-section, with out any of the sacrifices you make and are making, this little princess would not be… THANK YOU SO MUCH. Nana said you would not know that princess-versaries belong to mommies and daddies who give everything they can in life to make dreams possible for their children. Until now, mommy didn’t always believe in LOVE, and how much parents love children. NOW SHE KNOWS… THE LOVE WE HAVE FOR CHILDREN IS UNCONDITIONAL, AND NEVER ENDING.
You work so hard to make sure that I will have a “princess” life, and I want you to know that gratitude, and being thankful IS WHAT PRINCESS-VERSARIES ARE ALL ABOUT. So here I am … Saying thank you …to mommy and to daddy… for making ME your little princess.
Nana told me, everyday is Guillianna day, but on the fourth day of each month during my first year of life, I must remember to tell you thank you mommy for being so awesome. Thank you for giving me life…
And thank you daddy, for loving mommy and me, and working to make our futures strong and full of love.
Love always, Little Miss Adorable, your daughter
Guillianna!
