And They ARE ON THE ROAD…

I am definately adorable, and according to Great Aunt Pam, the most photographed baby she has ever known!

Dear Mom and Dad,

It is the first day of your’s and daddy’s block leave, from Fort Hood, and Mommy told Nana you had trouble getting everything ready to go, but now Nana says you are on your way to see me before you deploy, and all the car issues are better!  Be careful, watch for motorcycles, and deer when driving… (which is what NANA always tells all her kids)  She is like a broken record isn’t she… but we love her and keep her around anyway!  Besides she takes really cute pictures of me… even if they are too close.

Me and my bottle! Love this thing!

Good news here, THE SNOW MELTED as fast as it came.   Better news, Nana says this is Michigan and who knows we could have sun and warmer weather by the time you arrive?   (OR NOT)… either way it doesn’t matter because we will be together….

Me laughing! I love laughing...

I am feeling good.   I have another doctor appointment coming up, and Nana made it so we can all go and you can meet my MICHIGAN pediatrician for while I am at ‘CAMP NANA’.   Aunt Arrianna is off of school next week so she can visit with you too…   This is going to be a great week!

Today I went and saw Nana’s friends at the post office… she visits there so much.   From when you were in Iraq the first time, and with Uncle Nick being in the South Pacific, they know her AND ME, the minute we walk in, and they always make Nana smile.  Today we sent Uncle Nick a care package, and when you deploy, they will help me send you care packages too!

Does this pose make my cheeks look fat?

I ate really good today, oatmeal, and formula, and I have a feeling that my pediatrician will be very pleased with my progress.

I know you won’t be able to see me while driving on the road to your POG (pot of gold), but I will write you anyway, because Nana wants you to see me every single day!

Tonight my Great Aunt Pam, well she came to visit me again, and Nana is so very appreciative that she did.  Let’s face it, Nana, is old, and yes, it may be true she is not as old as she looks, (i.e old enough to be Poppy’s mom) she is a bit lazy sometimes… and tonight, Aunt Pam brought over dinner for the family… and she stayed and made everything great.  THUS THE NAME GREAT AUNT PAM!   Camp Nana, is truly a TEAM EFFORT… lots of help from everyone… all my Aunts, Poppy, and all of the people who love Mommy… and are finally going to get to meet Daddy!   Even the people at the U.S. Post office … they help make things easier on Nana… (seems Nana has been sending things to the APO-AP addresses for several years for one kid or another… in a few months Uncle Nick will be back from his year long trip and then it will be you and Daddy we will be sending bundles to…Hope the post office isn’t sick of Nana and I yet!   WHO AM I KIDDING , WHO COULD GET SICK OF SEEING THIS FACE?

I am looking for you... and I know you will be here soon to feed me!

I love you both very much, and I hope all my friends reading will say their prayers that you and daddy drive up safely.   I know we are…

ME SAYING MY PRAYERS FOR MOMMY AND DADDY TO SEE THIER POT OF GOLD SOON!

Love always, Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

MARCH 30th – MONDAY IN MICHIGAN, LOVE YOUR POG!

Michigan Spring!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Ya’ll are fixin’ to leave Texas… and I have one TINY request… ALL THE FOLKS HERE IN MICHIGAN WERE WONDERING IF DADDY AND YOU CAN PACK INTO THE CAR… Some Warm Texas Style Weather.

Did the weather person here forget it is spring, not WINTER!  It’s a winter wonderland!  LOOK IT IS BAMBI!

Look what was outside Nana's window! Bambi!

In a few short hours… you will be swaddling my little butt, and I will be soooo happy to hear you both, and see you… because I can see so much more now, and I can hardly wait.

While you are probably not too excited for snow, or to see Bambi outside Nana’s window… you will see your POG.  That’s Princess slang for YOUR  POT OF GOLD.   I have more nick names… GuGu, POG, Precious, Cutie, …. more names than any one princess could imagine.  Just don’t call me “spoiled”.  Nana won’t have it…

Me closing my eyes, and making a wish that we will see each other soon.   On block leave in about 4 hours, and you will be on your way.Close your eyes, make a wish... and Mom and Dad will be here!

Please drive safe… and work on making me all those KISSES… because I am just hanging out here at Camp Nana, waiting to be smothered.   Love always, Little Miss Adorable,

Guillianna! (POG)

DAY 46 AT CAMP…

I am thinking SPRING, but the forcast has SNOW!

Dear Mom and Dad,  (can you believe it was snowing today!)

It is my 46th love letter to you, and we are just a few days from being together.   In case Nana has not given you enough photos of ME so far, today I was especially good, and let her take a bazillion of them today.  It is Sunday, and GG and Great Papa, had a very difficult morning… they lost two friends, and had two funerals in one day… so I did what any good NO GREAT grand baby would do, I made a pit stop at their house to see if I could make them smile… and guess what…

IT SO WORKED... I MADE BOTH OF THEM SMILE!

It sooooo worked,  being in the arms of GG made her smile, and my princess work for the day had only just begun.

I have the pictures to prove how I made everyone in the house smile today…

and now, by writing to you, I am hopefully making you smile too..

Note to self, princess work is exhausting…

I ‘TUCKERED’  (Nana loves saying that) myself right out making people smile today.  Nana was happy that Poppy was able to get this picture of his parents with his grand daughter.   We only stayed about five minutes because they really were between two funerals, but while there GG fed me, and graciously I left her princess presents… sorry GG!

Aunt Allyssa and I, hanging out on Sunday... So here I am making Aunt Allyssa smile…

And no, Nana doesn’t keep it cold in the house, Aunt Allyssa loves her scarf as much as I love my passy…

She is so good with me, as a matter of fact all my Aunts are…

They are excited to see you and daddy too, but I told them you are all mine, and that I may not share too much.

Is that okay…?

They know we only have a few days…

So, after I made her happy, I  worked with Aunt Arri, Aunt Alyx and Aunt Mikayla on today’s photo shoot.   In case you are wondering how you will recognize me in a few days, I will be the ADORABLE ONE… SEE FOR YOURSELF..

TUMMY TIME!Tummy time is always fun, but it makes it difficult for you to see the sweet dress I have on..

I am a spring vision, and Nana has the photos to prove it..

Hope you have the time to view them… cause she is one camera happy lady…

My first zipper dress... complete with bow! Look at that hair...So as I model for you the adorable little sunflower dress from the back, please do not hesitate to admire my locks… they are infact growing, and while they are sparse in some places, they are getting long in back…

No daddy, I am not growing a mullett… but I am considering using a little hair gel, because when I get out of the bath, and Nana does my hair, she spikes it up, and I look JUST LIKE YOU!   A LITTLE TUCKETTE.

In  a few short days, you will see…

Do you think wishful thinking will bring spring flowers? The weather man can say snow flurries all he wants,

I refuse to give up,

say it with me…

SPRING, SPRING

WE WANT SPRING!

Greatest set of little lips ever.... I think that my little princess lips are my most adorable little feature, and guess what Daddy, I may be looking like you most of the time, but the lips remind Nana of Mommy….

She thinks I am a blend of you both, with an extra splash of PRINCESS.

She says, that extra splash… makes me …. ME!

I also made a deal with her… and told her, while camp has been fun, the next few days, she better watch out, cause it’s mommy/daddy me time, and Nana’s and Poppy’s, and Aunties, well ya’ll have to hang back and let me gel with the ‘rents.    She’s cool with it, she has Mr. Griff to console her –   she is a little attached to me, but who wouldn’t be. I make friends here left and right...

Here I am with one of my new friends in the Midwest.

Do you remember him Mommy, Nana has lots of stuff around from when you were small, and it is really cool I get to use it too…

As you can see, I am still tiny, but there has never been so much cute in one tiny little package, and I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE LITTLE APE…

Just remember… I love you, LITTLE MISS ADORABLE , YOUR POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW, YOUR DAUGHTER    THE ONE & ONLY G U I L L I A N N A

I am waiting, you guys will be on your way very soon....

A busy day… and a day closer to MOM AND DAD!

I see something....but I am not telling!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Nana said you called her today, and you sounded so happy about being so close to getting on the road to ME!  Your little pot of gold!

Today we had to go to Nana’s ‘D’ DOCTOR, and she hates going there, but I told her, Nana there are just some things you have to do…just like my mom and dad told me, about first coming to Michigan… and the fact that I had to go the P.P. DOCTOR.    No not the pee pee doctor, but the PRINCESS PEDIATRICIAN… and in case anyone out there is unaware of this little tidbit of infomation, NANA HAS ISSUES, AND all of us,, well WE AVOID THE DIABETES WORD, and just say ‘D’, personally the whole fam says it is D for DENIAL, but it is really just for diabetes.   So the “D” doctor is not ever fun, and today especally was to be a bit intensive so Nana made arrangements for Great Auntie Pam to meet us there, and it was PARTY WITH PAM all day long… Aunt Arri went, and all my other Aunts helped Poppy at work… when driving home, we had to stop at few places, and get ‘stuff”, things that Nana cannot do with me when she is alone, because she doesn’t want to break my new found schedule, that I really love and do well with.  I like having a day where I know what to expect, and I am in a routine… it is true, a bit of a home body, but again Nana assures me it will all change, and Momma will let me be going out and having lots of fun when I am older… RIGHT MOM?

We did some things all of us girls, and had a great afternoon, made some very “cool” ( or very Nana silly stuff ) depending on which side your bread is buttered….with the gang, you know her little projects…. but then we all had dinner and I sat at the table with everyone and just laughed and smiled… Here are some pics of the day… but I will need to explain a few.. Aunt Mikayla AND Aunt Arri asked Nana to give them a hair cut, and while she wanted  4.5 inches off, Mikayla said about 10 inches off…. WOW!  Imagine my amazement… since this is what I have right now..

MY HAIR....LOOK YOU CAN SEE IT.... IT IS GROWING!

Not so sure if this is a lighting issue, or if it is really that red!   One thing I do know here is my face at Arri’s 4.5 inches removed…It started like this, and progressed….

At first I was like... yeah yeah what ever... but as I saw lock of hair after lock of harre going ... all I could think is I WISH IT WERE MINE. Just looking and thinking….. watching Aunt Arrianna… loss her 4.5 inches of awesome hair, but then….

In the beginning... curiousity....but as time went on... I became more and more disturmbed... I WANT SOME HAIR HOW CAN THEY BE CHOPPING IT AWAY...

Aunt Arri that is a lot of hair to be taking it off, what are you thinking do you know what I would do with that hair...

THEN  THERE IS …  Me watching Aunt Mikayla getting a hair cut…

We truly had an awesome day, and I was soooooo good… it was hard to say good night… but then I remembered, If I go to sleep, your will be here sooner.  I love you both, and for just a few more faces mine of course…Oh no.... not all that hair on the floor.... yikes...

BODY SHOT...SO BIG!Me and my legs… soooooo cute.  AND BELOW, I AM JUST SO SERIOUS BUT STILL SO ADORABLE.there is a time for serious.....? and then a time for ....

Guillianna!
