Dear Mom and Dad….
I know you are there at Ft. Hood preparing my home. I have had so much fun at camp, and today was yet more play and fun. I am pondering what to do next…. seems my Red Wings have a challenge one against my Cuz Noah’s Sharks!
I think it is best that I don’t root for either team since I am going to be a Texan soon.
So we have reached the middle of the week, and as I prepare for my mom and dad in seven days…. I am here to say, I am as always, your Little Miss Adrorable, your daughter,
Guillianna!
Dear Guillianna,
While I follow your daily love letters, I have yet to respond to any of them. Apparently none to this point seemed to have driven me to do so. However, as we near the end of our time together, I feel it important to leave you with a lasting memory of your life here and something we will always share. It has been brought to my attention that you are not only not rooting for a team, the ONLY team worth rooting for, but have an “equal opportunity spirit stick”. It is with this, no mere slight, that I must break my 14+ month silence to remind you of something very important. You ARE a Detroit sports fan for LIFE! Your first pictures of athletic loyalty depict an Old English D and a Winged Wheel. And thanks to Nana, we have proof! So never forget where your alligences really are. But just in case you are midled in the Land of Tumbleweeds (yeah, made that up just now; I think it’ll stick) I’ll be here to remind you 😉 GO WINGS!!!
Love,
Uncle Nick
P.S. Until the Lions begin to do well, you are permitted to root for your daddy’s favorite team, the Chargers, instead.
Good morning Gugu…I absolutly love the outfit you are wearing today, you look sooooooooooooooo cute. However, my love it is necessary today for you to change your shirt and put on a red and white one. Don’t know if you remember the last time the RW’s played you were not wearing red and white and we lost. So if it is not too much trouble please change into red and white. Thanks! Send my love to Nana and Poppy and all the campers. Go Wings! Love you, G.G. Aunt Ida
