Did you miss me?

The duck and I say hi!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Nana had done my Monday ‘love letter’ so early in the day, (like before sunrise)that it seems like forever since I have written!   Really it’s only been a day, but here is what is going on in the land of lakes and sunshine!

Uh, sunshine, not so much! Several big thunderstorms in these parts – but now we are back to sun and heat.  I do really love being out and looking at flowers and green trees.

I also have a new appreciation for the expression ‘BITE YOUR TONGUE’, since last night while sitting at the dinner table, I had a teething ring in my mouth, and I bit down on it, with my little lip between the toy and my teether…. and OUCH, I bit my own lip….YIKES THAT HURT, made me cry real tears, but in a NANA SECOND, they were gone!   But now I am feeling that someone could have told me why they call them ‘choppers’ before I had to experience it the hard way!

Me & Quackers... another friend here at camp....

I also woke up this morning and sent a special delivery message to Nana  – that it is time to move the mattress in the crib down.   I was rolled over on my tummy and showed her that clearly any day I will be pulling myself up in there… so… yes, it’s a  big girl crib for me!

I am just hanging around me and my peeps....

Since my last photo shoot, I have not changed much, but when you look back through the months, boy, oh boy it is amazing how much more adorable I get!   I am packing up some things to go up to Northern Michigan with Nana and Poppy again, when we go, I may not be able to write you, if Nana’s wireless internet card is not working well, but she will try.  BELEIVE ME WHEN I SAY she does not want Mommy or Daddy missing a day of ‘all about ME’!

I hope that you and daddy are doing good, and that you’re not working too hard.  Hopefully time will go by quick since we are just a few short months away from our big visit.   Nana has not been to the post office recently, you should send her email and let her know what if anything you need.  Besides, if you tell her, I get a field trip to visit the nice people at the post office too.   They make me feel special.  Tonight I went to dinner with a friend from Florida, Dr. John and we had Japanese food.  I am checking the chef out to see if he does a good job.

Me at dinner tonight!

I am working hard on crawling, but really everytime I am put onto my tummy… I just roll over to my back and smile, as if to say… look what I can do, then I am so proud when I do it, that  I wait for someoneto make a big deal over my roll!  It has become a game… and I have NO INTEREST right now in crawling, after all… I have more fun showing off my rolling skills… most likely though, I will discover very soon how much more mobile I will be when I crawl… and then there will be no stopping me… NANA IS SURE OF IT, she says I am SO like mommy, in that when I put my mind onto or into something… I GO UNTIL IT GET IT!    That is for sure… none of this out of sight-out of mind stuff, if you move something… I WILL FIND IT, I WILL SEARCH FOR IT, AND LOOK AROUND UNTIL I FIND WHERE YOU PUT IT… crazy curious… thats me!

Me tickling the chef!

I see the pediatrician in September for my nine month “vaccinations” “yukko”… but Nana says a princess has to do – what a princess has to do, and so I will go, but no promises that I won’t be a bucket of fuss!   We hope to discuss a few important things, like whether the twice a day on my tummy medicine is still possible, since some days it seems okay and others it is not.   We also hope to discuss my mucous…. yes I said it on line, MUCOUS,  and while totally gross – it is very annoying to me.   I have a hard time sometimes  if Nana doesn’t suction me out, and it all started when my teeth came, and has not really gone away…. maybe because some top teeth may not be far behind, or is it a cilia issue or allergy, we just are not sure?   So we have so much to talk about at that visit.  If you have any questions that you want Nana to ask my doctor please write her.  It is the second week in September that Iwill go, so you have time.

Then, we will be fast approaching OCTOBER, and before then, you need to help me decide what you’d like me to be for Halloween.   Not that I will trick or treat, but I will go to GG-ma’s for kisses and hugs, and Nana says this first Halloween, you and daddy get to pick, but after that, don’t plan on it, it will be all my choice!     So let her know what you think and she will try her best to find your choice or make it.   After that, it will be November, and Thanksgiving, and you know what that means, days from our time together… we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with a turkey and all the fixin’s no matter when you get to come… because we will all be so thankful for everything we have, but especially that you’re here at camp for a visit!

So you see, I have everything all planned, and in the blink of an eye… we will be hangin’ out, like the three amigos, the three musketeers, three blind mice… OH NO .. I FEEL A SONG COMING ON!  Shhhhh stop before Nana starts..

I love you guys, hope you are smiling, and thinking of … ME!

Keep your eye on the prize, (me) and all will be okay!  Until tomorrow, please remember, I am and always will be your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

 Me playing shy!

Shy little Guillianna!

First WHOLE Fruit!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Well it’s another day at camp but I thought I would share with you a new first.   I got to try a Nectarine today.   I had fun!

My first nectarine... having teeth is fun!

I enjoyed eating… and you can tell by looking at me.

Can you tell how much fun this was!

Yes… it was a mess, but it was just one of those things… even a princess likes to dive in to something this delicious every once in a while.

And the 'beast' was there to capture all of it!

The ‘beast’ got plenty of shots for you to see me eating (or nibbling) at my first fruit.

Yummo!

Nana says this is what stain stick is for…  I say look at my face… who cares how messy this is, I am loving it.

Peaches/nectarines and 'cream/formula .... good stuff!

A master at handling my beverage!  This was so fun… learning to eat is a blast….

So, I was thinkin’ today about how I am always telling you about how Nana SINGS… AND SINGS, AND SINGS….  well look what I caught on tape for you …. proof…. now, I know it looks like I like it… I am a princess you know, and ettiquette and manners…. well they are my forte… but here is a sample of the ‘entertainment’ here at camp… and yes, I smile because I need not hurt her feelings… she tries so hard to make me smile… and I love that she tries….. oh, and by the why not that she has done this a bazillion times, but you will see, I know what is coming next… and smile when it happens… yea, I am sweet, I know!

So… in addition to that little clip… here is one you will really love… I have been working on ‘kisses’.   It is a bit of a stretch and you may have to use a little imagination, and forgive that when I am excited, I get a little over zealous… but here you go… this is me, sending kisses to mommy and daddy in the land of sand… READY SET GO!

I love you both very much, and until tomorrow, please remember, today as always, I am your LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, LITTLE MISS NECTARINE, your daughter,

Hard to believe life can get better than this... but I am told it does!

Guillianna!

On the go!

Happy Sunday Mom and Dad!

Dear Mom and Dad,

It is Sunday, and I am hanging out today at camp with the other campers.  Poppy is working and I am practicing dancing, or walking!

Hmmmm..... what kind of outfit is this?  Yes, I am keeping busy, all the time, and to be honest, feel like I must be on the move most of the time….

Go go go go….

No sitting around for me…

just go go go…

If you don’t move fast enough, I let you know it… and I am not shy about it either….

I have places to go and things to do…

So silly...

Look at me being silly…

I am imagining that I am dancing with you and daddy..

You close your eyes and imagine you are holding me and dancing around with me in your arms and you will smile too!

Nana has another trip up to Northern Michigan planned, for later in the upcoming week.  All of the campers are going to come  with Nana and Poppy for what will be our last chance to be together before they all head back to school and Nana and Poppy trip to take me to visit Great Grandma Sally on Labor Day weekend.     Monday we will get organized and make list(s) of all the things a princess needs to take with her when she goes on a field trip.   We have plans to meet an old friend of Nana and Poppy’s on Tuesday and Wednesday I have GOLDFISH MINI CLASS.   Wow… I better get my rest today… I am so busy!

As always, I love you both, and as you probably guessed, I AM your LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, your daughter,

guge wants to drive

Guillianna!

A day of work, thankfully…

Look at these kissable cheeks... so sweet!

Dear Mom and Dad,

It is Saturday today and not much is happening at camp since Poppy is working really hard today, so hard that he will have to go to work on Sunday to finish all the paperwork, and Nana and the campers are working hard too on camp stuff.  Poppy is so glad to be so busy, during times where so many need work.  He started spending Saturday afternoons traveling to patients who are too sick to leave home  yet need care, about three years ago when Nana was really sick and people had to come to her house…. now Saturday afternoons are not enough time to see all those that need care, so he will go back tomorrow.    I worked hard too on sitting, rolling, and a bazillion photos, and  Uncle Nick had a friend coming to visit all the way from the Marshall Islands –  for dinner, and Nana cooked ( or tried to, Julia Child she is not) .   This friend drove here just to visit Uncle Nick from Ohio, where he was visiting family.   He is Nana and Poppy’s age, and was a really good friend to Uncle Nick while he was away for that year in the South Pacific.  So, the house was dusted and cleaned from all the slobber and hair that our camp/zoo animals leave behind, and we just had a nice evening at camp.  Despite Nana’s cooking.   The other day I told you about how we reorganized at camp…  All the toys you and daddy have sent me fill my new playroom!  The library is officially GUILLIANNA’S PLAY ROOM, and is so much fun.   Look at this.   I think I am good on toys for a while now Mom and Dad.   I love them all!   Can you see Mr. Penguin.   He is still in time out from when we had our little tiff!   Nah, just hangin’ in my pack -n-play.   I love him!

My Play Room!

Here is another angle of my new playroom!  Lot’s of books here!

Looks fun doesn't it!

I plan on reading all of the books too…

Someday, maybe not right now…

Behind my toys are those special books that Grumpy passed on to all of his grandchildren to read. Remember Mom?

There are so many books.

And one day Poppy says, I too will read them all…

Cool huh?

My toy box!

Here is my toy box and Elmo too.   I am telling you there are hours and hours of fun in this box!    Camp is very ‘kid friendly’ as you can see!  Now, I am sure you’re missing my face… so here I am today… looking mighty sweet as usual!  I am such a good baby, and so smart mom and dad, I love books… here I am reading one…

Look at me telling the story... so cute!

and here I am again…showing my adorable little personality…

I have so much personality... it just amazes Nana!

Nana can’t ever decide which photos you would like best, so she puts up A LOT…. are you sick of this face ?    Nana just can’t imagine anyone ever getting sick of my face… AND … I bet she could find a few people who agree with her…… I am afterall,  totatally and completely  (say it with me)     A D O R A B L E !

Nana caught me in the middle of a sentence here...

I have a silly side too…  yea Nana is a bit too close, and it’s not the most clear shot, but it shows my little dimple, and my silly side!

How about this for silly?

Then there is my serious face…  still adorable…

Serious Guillianna!

No matter what the mood, Nana… loves taking pictures of me and showing you how I am growing every day.   I have been taking a little less tummy medicine these days, and hope to get it down to twice a day… WOO! WOO!   Best news ever!  I hope you know I love you both, and that I miss you.   Until tomorrow, I am, your LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, your daughter,

I love you mom and dad!

Guillianna!
