Dear Mom and Dad  I HEARD YOU ARE IN KUWAIT!

Yep it is almost here, I am almost a full princess… no more princess-versaries for this big girl, now when people ask, it will be official.  I WILL SAY ” I am ONE!”   So cool.   The best part however, is … I think I am getting the best present of all.   I hope to get to see you and daddy soon.   So I am looking for advice on being one…. besides getting see mommy and daddy, which is greatly anticipated, what else do I get to look forward to?   Nana says MORE THAN I CAN IMAGINE… so what then, can anyone tell me, or is it to be a surprise?

I don’t know whenexactly it will happen, and I know it is ‘just for a visit’, but this visit from you and daddy will mark a special high point in my YEAR.   Please don’t be sad, if I am a bit shy.   Please, know… I am just going through a phase… and while it takes me a while to get used to new things…I eventually do.   I just need to spend a lot of time holding hands, playing and just hanging out with you and daddy.  Yet at the same time, I AM QUITE THE EXPLORER….. my favorite thing to do… is when by pointing I ask…”what’s that?’   Every little thing… Nana is telling me – What’s that? and we explore it.   Can’t wait to do this with you two!   So get ready and practice saying –  “WHAT’S THAT?”… show it to me, and let me touch it…. and I am HAPPY!

I love to examine and discover everything.  We can do it together!

Nana thinks I have been fighting a cold all week.   I think I may miss my Goldfish mini class (no fun Nana)  to ensure that I feel better.   Nana says I just don’t want to catch a cold or be sick for our visit, and don’t mind missing Mini class –  afterall, I will go while you are here on your visit just so you can see me swim.  So I have had a great day today.  Play – play – play…. with some singing in between by Nana… and Mom and Dad, let me warn you now… it is the holiday season… Nana is pretty into holiday songs and knows A LOT OF THEM…. it’s crazy! 🙁

I am glad you are safely in Kuwait, and I AWAIT your return to your little pot of gold here in MICHIGAN!   Until tomorrow… I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Playing with Blocks, Brushing My Teeth!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Hey there, oh there….  happy as can be… yes I am wearing MICKEY MOUSE, and I am a fan!

As promised –  I am sending you video of me brushing my teeth.

So you see I am getting to be such a big girl.  My favorite time is play time.  Or maybe kissin time, or maybe snuggling time, maybe even eating time, I guess it depends when you ask me and how I feel at that moment.   I am beginning to think we may be a week or so away from being reunited!   Nana is not being real direct about it all, says it is private until all is well and Mom and Dad are safely out of the land of sand!  

I hope you loved seeing my adorable face.   I know I love seeing it.   Nana played me the video….and I am ALL ABOUT LOVING IT!   Until tomorrow Mom and Dad… I am your Little Miss Adorable, your sweet daughter, YOUR POT OF GOLD…

Wishes For The Holiday Season!

Dear Mom and Dad…

Well since Thanksgiving has now come and gone, they  (the campers)  tell me it is the beginning of the ‘holiday’ season.   Today was another great day.   I may be fighting a cold so we stayed in, and Uncle Nick and Aunt Arri went to pick up diapers for me.  So Nice!  I played at camp, and rested.   I then helped by getting some photos for our holiday wishes to you in the land of sand.  Nana always likes to send holiday cards out, but since things seem to take so long to get to you, we decided to send this holiday wish early.   AND SINCE YOU WILL BE TRAVELING IN THE NEAR FUTURE… WE DIDN’T WANT YOU TO MISS YOUR HOLIDAY GREETING CARD FROM  CAMP!

A few days ago Nana told us about her favorite holiday song.   And while it is a Christmas song… she thinks it is fitting for everyone every where.   It is about things everyone wishes for.   Whether folks celebrate with Hannukah Harry, or Ho Ho, (aka Santa) I am sure everyone will agree with Nana’s “WISH” !  

So today Mom and Dad, I am forwarding a card from Nana and Poppy to you both… It is a holiday wish for you and daddy and it is from all of us at Camp Nana…..

I am planning our visit,  I am planning on all the things I can get into … and discover while you are here…

Trouble… with a GIANT “T”

It may not work too well, and be interrupted depending on the speed of your internet access… but even if it is broken up a bit, the words still have great meaning… and the pictures of me… your little Gugu Bee… are worth the wait!

Jammer Day and “the Guge Special”?

Dear Mom and Dad…

Today is the day where people get up early and “shop” I hear.   Well some people.   Not Nana, nor the campers… they all worked today though and I had a Jammy day!  Yep, I stayed in my jammies all day, and then changed into new jammies… crazy huh?  I know that makes Nana sound lazy, but really I just love crawling so much these days, that the jammers are so nice to crawl on Nana’s hard floors with.   They are thick, and my princess knees need to be protected you know.  

I am looking forward to our visit and think we will have a blast.   Hey, can you two crawl?   I can show you how if you want… it was hard at first but I know you will get the hang of it.

As for hand eye coordination… well I have my balls… and a bucket thingy…

and if you get tired of this little game trust me I have a bazillion more to play with you… here I am writing my love letter to you…

Really I am just downloading music from iTunes, but don’t tell No Fun Nana… she’ll have some password on this thing before you know it…

I know everyone has fun shopping, and I love being pushed around in a stroller… but to be honest mom and dad… I love just playing at camp too.   I had a marvelous day, and you will not believe this… tonight I brushed my teeth.   I have been practicing, and I have my own toothbrush and toothpaste, I know just what to do… and I bet in the upcoming days, you will see a video of this new trick.   Once we are together for our R&R, you will see first hand, that I WILL look up when you tell me to… I WILL wave, I  WILL clap when you ask,  you’ll see that I know to put a phone to my ear, and now…I BRUSH MY TEETH…. so many things!  I will be able to show off for you on our visit.  YOUR FAVORITE THOUGH WILL CERTAINLY BE WHAT EVERYONE AT CAMP CALLS THE “GUGE SPECIAL“… It  is THE “GUGE” SPECIAL because once you have seen it… you can NOT GET ENOUGH.   I kiss … and boy do I kiss.  Yours and daddy’s cheeks will never be the same.  Once you get one your hooked, and now the campers … they are always asking.   I am stingy, and work dilligently on building up a bunch just for you guys.  Until tomorrow please dream sweet dreams of me …YOUR LITTLE POT OF GOLD (POG), your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,
