2009 THE YEAR BEYOND MEASURE & 2010 is on it’s way!

Oh my it is almost 2010!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Talk about under the wire, it is about quarter to twelve,  New Year’s Eve, and Nana has gotten my love letter up without missing the deadline!  Yippee!

Last year, as 2008 left, I was not even a month old.   Poppy was visiting his son and delivering medical supplies and shoes in the South Pacific and Nana was not with any of her kids.   She was lonely.   This year, you and dad are far away from me, but in all of our prayers.   It is surely lonely for you, but, Nana told me how she was alone so that I would see, that everything changes with a little time.

Today about 6 ish at night, Nana was doing something and looked around to notice all the campers home… everso briefly,  I of course represent our little camper family for the time being, and Miss K, well she too was over briefly, and for that one moment… Nana took in a deep breath, she closed her eyes, and thought –  how lucky she was…. a year ago, she was completely alone… and somehow, she has been given 365 more days of breath, 365 days of life, and since February 14th 2009 she has had a chance to help mom dad and I, and share in a small part of my life.  Lucky?   “BEYOND MEASURE”,says she!   ABSOLUTELY LUCKY Beyond Measure!

Hope that your New Year’s Eve was nice, in that you were thinking of the things we will do in 2010 that will be for us BEYOND MEASURE!  Here I am tonight …. enjoying the time at camp, and my wonderful fellow campers!

Me getting dressed for New Years Eve in Princess attire...  I am getting ready… and as usual I am adorable aren’t I.   I hope all of my family and friends, know that everyone at Camp Nana wishes each of them a very HEALTY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR !  From my  Great Grandma Sally and Grumpy,  to my Great Papa Alan and GG-ma Sharyn.  To my Grandmonster in PA, and Great Papa and Grandma in CA, to my Mimi and Papa in TN, Great Grandpa Ray in Northville, and Great Aunts and Great Uncles, everywhere.  If you look at my visitor map, there are special people all over the world checking on you me and daddy!   I am a very blessed little baby, with a network of people who love me, and my parents very much.   30,ooo REGULARS -visiting my site is plenty of friends to thank… and I do  – EACH AND EVERY ONE.   I hope those I have named, and those I have not listed, all know… that I appreciate them, their love, their support with all my heart.  Nana is preserving these love letters for me to have one day when I grow up, and your contribution to this past year is BEYOND MEASURE to all of us!

Almost ready! Are we going somewhere... oh... just staying at camp! Yippie!

Bye bye 2009 HELLO MOMMA AND DADDY!

Are you ready for 2010?      The year for walking, for fun, the year I get to run and you get to chase me!    I cannot wait!  And yes, it’s a New Year’s tutu!    Nana and the beast should take note “WHERE IS MY CUTE FACE?”

On the move already.... follow me!

Guillianna!

Hmmm, About Goldfish Mini Class….

Hey Everyone Look It’s Pooh Bear On My Head! Me and my Winnie The Pooh Hat!

Dear Mom and Dad,

So, you see since I missed a bunch of swimming classes… I was unaware, as was Nana… that Goldfish Mini Swim Classes were not scheduled during Christmas and the New Year!

Looking cute and getting so big!

Yea… that’s the thing, not only does someone have to get Nana an alarm that tells her THAT MY LOVE LETTER HAS TO BE UP TO YOU GUYS BEFORE MIDNIGHT, she needs a little something more in the memory department to tell her ….READ YOUR GOLDFISH MINI NEWSLETTER MORE CAREFULLY!

The little cap came with little mittens.

So alas, there was no class and I was with the campers tonight.  Uncle Nick was out and about, and Aunt Allyssa had school, but the rest of us hung out, and took some excellent photos for your enjoyment!   Poppy went to buy me formula, and brought me back this cute little Winnie The Pooh hat I am sporting!

Oh my... where is my hand?  I was a very good girl today, and went with Nana to the doctor.  Aunt Arri and I took her to have her surgery checked.  All is fine and I was glad to not be the patient. I figured it is good for someone else to have a turn, and Nana says she is glad to do it.  I HATE GOING TO THE DOCTOR FOR ME!

Here I am climbing the slide, and working out in the gym since I could not SWIM - Nana!

Since there was no swim class, I worked out at Camp on the slide, and stuff… and really it was all good, I had a great day!

Can you see it in my face? I am loving this Holiday Break thing with all the campers...

Just one more time down the slide... Please?

So I am hoping you both had a decent day, and know that I am doing great here in the MITTEN STATE, AND NOW I actually have MITTENS!

Until tomorrow, I am as always, your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,Until tomorrow Mom and Dad, I love you!

Guillianna!

Getting Ready to SWIM!

 My hair is growing!

Dear Mom and Dad,

FIRST, SOMEONE HAS TO TEACH NANA HOW TO TELL TIME… THIS IS MY TUESDAY LOVE LETTER, WRITTEN ON DEC. 29TH 2009, BUT SOMEONE DIDN’T HIT THE SAVE BUTTON BEFORE MIDNIGHT… SO… go figure, you will get two letters from me dated Dec. 30th, one that is my Tuesday letter and one in the night of the 30th, IF NANA FINISHES IT BY MIDNIGHT.   Geez Nana!   What’s with you these days… When the BIG HAND AND LITTLE HAND HIT THE TWELVE IT’S LATE!   Now that that is out of the way…

Tomorrow  ( or should I say today) is Goldfish Mini Class and I am getting ready… Santa brought me a new bathing suit… I will sporting it tomorrow at swim class!   It has been weeks since I have been, I wonder will they remember me?

My own little Mini Wet Suit!

Today however, is Tuesday, and Ms. K will be back in the Mitten State!   Woo woo… Everyone is getting ready for New Year’s Eve, and I am too.

Today everyone had to work, or go to school (Aunt Allyssa gets no time off!)  But Uncle Nick and Nana were at camp with me,  and I played with Uncle Nick.  Nana took some photos of me today, and as usual I was a superstar for the beast!

My Great Aunt Pam and Uncle Brian packed suitcases and made the trip out to see me tonight… no just kidding, they do drive far, but no suitcase required…. Nana is just so glad they come, because it makes the holiday’s so nice to see them.

This is how to apply the princess lipstick!

They gave me a new purse for Christmas… and here I am putting on my lipstick from the purse!

It has all kinds of princess girly stuff, like a mirror, and it has MONEY…

Yep, I am learning about this money thing early, apparently I need it for something called shopping!

Hmmmmm, here I am with the money that comes in my purse… and hoping that all purses from here on out come with money ready to spend….

Hmmm, what to spend my money on?

So I had a great day today, and an even nicer visit from Great Aunt Pam and Great Uncle Brian.

You see, it is like this... and I am telling you exactly how it will be!

Getting some rest tonight I hope to prepare for my       re-entry into Goldfish Mini, so until tomorrow Mom and Dad, I hope you had a good day, that you are safe and enjoying the climate there… and remember that I am YOUR LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, your daughter,

These cheeks await your kisses!

Guillianna!

The Last Monday of 2009

Oh my where did the year go?

Dear Mom and Dad,

I am amazed that December has passed so quickly, and a whole year later, I am thinking Nana is right… time does pass fast!

I am coming to get you!

I few weeks ago,  I found it a challenge to feed myself little puffs… now I can do it simply and quickly.   I ate my first grilled cheese sandwich today from a kiddie menu!   I loved it.   Yes, I did have some help with that but hey it will be no time before I have half a sandwich in my hands, and eating away!

Happy Little Camper!

I am loving crawling.. and do it fast and well.   I can pull myself up into a standing position, and love to do that in the crib around two a.m. !  At least lately, I have been waking up  in the night a lot.   Maybe tonight I will sleep …. (Nana hopes, yet knows that if I do, she will be up checking why I am not up)   Today is the very last Monday of the year and I hear New Year’s Eve is a night for us to have dinner with anyone of the campers who is still interested or available to have dinner with Nana and Poppy!   The older campers have plans… and Nana Poppy and I won’t be drinking GRAPE JUICE, like the other campers did at midnight for so many years… Nana says I will get a my usual… THE BOB!  Which is cool with me… since I ‘LOVE IT!’ and there is no risk of the dreaded rash.

This is my 'catch me if you can' face!

Mommy called today for the first time since she has been back in the land of sand.   She went before the ‘board’ and is eligible for a promotion.  GREAT NEWS… AND HER SWEET BABY GUGE IS PROUD!  (or at least I will be when I understand all this)   I too am going to be promoted to a bigger girl car seat soon.   When I gain a few more pounds.. I will be ready to sit up in a forward facing seat!   Wow so many things to look forward to in 2010… big girl car seat, more hair and possible pony tails and barrettes!  WALKING, AND TALKING!  Mom and Dad coming home… it will be FAN-TABULOUS!

What do you mean, no more "bob"..?

What you say I will be giving up the ‘bob’ in 2010….

Hmmm, can we talk about this?

Exactly when does this occur?

Nana says its up to the pediatrian and me… like when I am eating enough of the right foods to stop the bob, and have no more tummy issues!  Whew, I am glad to hear that is not happening any time too soon…. CRAZY! My rash is almost gone... and we are still unclear if it is grapes or something else....

Me talking! As usual.... I have much to say!

I still say you and Daddy should set me up for an EYE LASH AD, CAUSE let me say, I am all lash!

Pretty Eyes!

I am being a good little camper and love you both very much.   I don’t know if you two get to have any kind of New Years’ celebration, but all of us here at camp will be thinking about you two coming home in 2010, and begining our lives together…. we will all be thinking how good it would be to have all the soldiers return to their families… and we will do it not only on New Years’ Eve but every day!   Until tomorrow, ‘CRAZY’ LONG lash girl, your daughter,

My 'I CAN'T BELIEVE IT' look.... too cute!

Guillianna!
