I AM SINGING YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

ALSO THANKING GREAT AUNT PAM FOR A SPECIAL DAY!

Dear Mom and Dad,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA!  Hope turning 25 was great for you.   I am glad your special package arrived safe, and you enjoyed it.   I am also happy to know you think I am the best present ever.   I am hopeful that we will spend Mother’s Day together.   It will be the best Mother’s Day for you to have me back with you!

I am having a good day today.  It seems ‘the rash’ is nearly gone!   I spent all day with Nana playing and singing.  I then had goldfish mini class tonight, but all the campers had school, and Poppy had to give a diabetes lecture so he could not swim.   GUESS WHO HELPED NANA?   Great Aunt Pam swam with me!   It was awesome.

Last night, at about two in the morning WHILE NANA WAS WORKING,  a nasty computer virus attacked Nana’s computer.   IT ATE  AND ATE IT SEEMS AND HAS CAUSED GREAT HARM TO HER COMPUTER, AND NOW NANA IS USING UNCLE NICKS COMPUTER TO SEND MY LOVE LETTER, SO I AM SENDING A VERY SPECIAL  THANK YOU TO UNCLE NICK TOO!

The good news is, I was happy and laughing all day.   Everytime Nana says, “K” , I say it right back at her, and laugh!   I have also mastered givng “five” to Nana, and then she tickles my hand and I laugh!   It’s been a fun day.   I am sorry I can’t get these photos to upload very easily tonight, Nana is not a computer whiz  and as a matter of fact had to look into buying a new computer….. we will see, but we hoping for better news tomorrow on the computer front and you will get more photos of ME!   Until then, please know Uncle Nick helped Nana keep a promise ONE SHE HAS WORKED SO HARD TO KEEP THESE PAST DAYS, SO really, thank you very much… once again to all the campers, to Great Aunt Pam and Uncle Nick you all make it possible for Mom and Dad  – to see my face every day FULL OF SMILES, AND HAPPINESS!   All of my love, and as always, I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

“the RASH” is leaving!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Hello from the Mitten State, where all is cold and the sun is not shining… but I am happy playing!   I did not spend a lot of time ‘naked’ today, as I am significantly better, and Nana was having someone over for ‘Nana stuff’ that had been scheduled.  Once the nurse left, I was checked out and almost princess perfect again. The rash is so nearly gone!  Iwill get a bit more diaperless time tomorrow which should be fun and hopefully it will be GONE GONE GONE!   Nana also said she heard from Daddy today, he emailed us and sent me love and kisses.  Thanks Dad!  Right back attacha… 

I was so good today.   Aunt Arri got to hang out with me a bit in the morning, and then Aunt Mikayla in the afternoon.   I was awesome.   Nana was there and so were the dogs and cats.  I tell you a princess can never get lonely at Camp Nana there is always so much to observe.  

Great Grandma Sally  (Nana’s mom) had surgery today and she is doing good thank goodness!   In her eighties and she is as tough as can be… and a real trooper.  We were glad to hear from her today, she did great!  Grumpy is taking good care of her… we wish we were closer! (HINT HINT THE GUILLIANA STYLE MAP OF THE USA BRINGS WASHINGTON STATE MUCH CLOSER TO THE MITTEN STATE  you can see it in  my love letter from January 22nd.   Yep, it puts Washington right next door, accross the Detroit River.   Hmmmm….

I love playing and am trying so hard to communicate.  I squawk and get my point accross pretty good.   Words are there, I just am itching to get them out.   I WILL BE QUITE A GOOD LITTLE TALKER, Nana is sure of it.    It’s as if any day, they will just start flowing.   I love saying BOOK, almost as much as I love reading them.   Nana reads to me everyday several times a day and several books each time… so …. ‘book’ is a new fav!   When Nana sings, I softly sing with her… the words are all there, they come out sounding different, but I am without a doubt singing too.   (and better than Nana 🙂 to be sure!)

In other news at camp, I am approaching that one year anniversary here.   Nana has posted my love letters for you and daddy each day… and will continue to do so until I leave camp.   Each and every letter as well as each and every comment made will be put into a book for me to read when I am big.   I hope that all those who read my love letters send me a note that can be put into my special journal of love and support.   If you want to keep your wishes or thoughts between just you and I, you can email Nana, and she will put private notes aside.  Otherwise you can leave them on any given day – any date you wish, and Nana will see that I have them for all time in my very own BOOK OF LOVE LETTERS.    As of now it seems I will go back to Fort Hood.   Once I get settled in, Nana will have it printed and sent to me there.   So anyone who wishes to contribute, has until spring to do so.  I look forward to hearing from you all, there are so many loyal friends and family.  So many strangers, near and far who have made this year tolerable, and helped me to be the most loved baby ever!   My time here is coming to an end in just a few months or so…. So send me a note, leave a comment on any day, or between now and spring, tell me how reading my love letters made you feel.  Send me anything at all…. I will treasure it always.  🙂

Oh No… “the rash”, Silly Nana!

Dear Mom and Dad…

(SO… THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN AT NIGHT… AFTER A DAY OF BEING A NUDIE BUTT…. )  No photo shoot during the day… and Reeeeeeally Nana, do we have to talk “the rash” trash!  Nana says yes, cause she promised Momma she would not miss a thing…. that she would make me as close to momma as possible… so here goes….

Yes it is true, I am here at camp… WITH OUT A DIAPER.  The doctor said,  (yes I SAID DOCTOR, Nana is all over  THIS AND A LITTLE on the OVER PROTECTIVE side  SO THE DOCTOR HAS BEEN CONSULTED) no diapee… and some special powder, keep me dry, and feed me a little yogurt and I will be good.   Can you believe Nana let me get my first rash,she only has like five kinds of regular butt paste, she has Great Papa special order the most awesome kind, and I still got ‘the rash’,  and she says sorry.   Seems that there really wasn’t anyway to prevent it, and it is just one little red spot near the princess privacy (about the size of a dime or maybe a nickel) … but I get to go around naked at camp… and pee on Nana… so I am having fun!  

Of course I get to dress for my photo shoot… and protect the princess privacy… but all in all, let it be known, I did in fact get my first little rash here at Camp Nana.   I am saving a first HAIRCUT HOWEVER  – FOR YOU.   And while it is not likely that I will wait to WALK , I do promise to save my first bike ride with you, my first ice skating… hmmmm, it will hopefully be with all the campers and you at an annual skate or something… and I will save my first trip to a zoo with you… among many other firsts… but Nana has the first diaper rash… and she says sorry.   Seriously… I think she is more crushed than I…. didn’t want me to suffer anything in her care… but alas… ‘THE RASH’.

I am having a good day despite ‘the rash’, and Nana is having fun… living the diaper free life!   (NOT)  but if we do this a day or so… ‘the rash’ loses and I have a princess perfect butt again… so what do you think Nana will do…  

Hope your day was great… and was thinking about how spring is coming soon.   In a few days Momma is having her 25th birthday.  I hope she knows we all wish her a great day, and that her special package has arrived in time for her birthday.   Keep checkin’ Mom it will be there soon I am sure..

Nana also just got an email from Momma that says now both she and daddy have been before the board and are eligible for SARGEANT…. so congratulations to both of you… I hope you know that your eligibility for a promotion makes your baby girl and your parents, and grandparents so proud.   Great job!

All our love from Camp Nana, from Mom and Dad in the land of sand, to all of us Michiganders in this MITTEN STATE!    Washington State is lucky to have such a handsome and intelligent guy living there!   We all miss you both, and hope the year is full of things that make a GREAT GRUMPY …. SMILE!   You have seen much, and accomplished much in 84 years… but I have been told that te 85th year is where it really all begins!   So fasten your safety belt, and let’s go Grumpy!

Let’s start your 85th year MAGICALLY with the best part of anyone’s day… ME!  I started the day with getting some formula and diapers and bringing some bagels back for all the camper today, and while out MOMMY CALLED!   The campers loved the morning snack, and I of course was a hero!

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY ITTY BITTY LIFE, I have to say, I have an itty bitty butt rash… yep, and Nana, is always changing me… but it seems that it may be due to teething!   Yep they say it can happen, between eating so many new foods, and teething too, but let’s just say this is a first for me.   We will get it checked if it is not gone tomorrow.

I played and played  – once our errands were done.  I had reading time..

then there was all kinds of “spring” cleaning I felt like doing…

 and after cleaning… there is FRENCH LESSONS WITH AUNT ARRI  …

Aside from a little butt rash, I had another stupendous day… and I have to say… the rash thing… well you know Nana, she is freakin… she takes great pride in pampering the Princess Bottom, and well I may now be getting even MORE DIAPER CHANGES AND MORE PASTE!   Great…  is there a record for quickest change after princess presents are packaged?  Cause, I think I already get a bazillion diaper changes a day… (so what is a bazillion and one?)    I thank you for calling me today, and I know it makes all the campers happy to hear your voice, and know you are both doing well.   Until tomorrow, please know I am as always, YOUR LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, your sweet daughter,
