PUSHING THE CART… I am WALKIN, WALKIN’, WALKIN’ and just about ready to do it without the cart

Dear Mom and Dad,

Well howdy from Camp, how are you doing…. I am writing today to tell you that whole walking thing is going pretty good. I can certainly shop with my cart no problem. I love being Little Miss Independent, and it shows…

Yes, last February, I lay, in Nana’s arms, barely able to open my eyes for more than a few minutes…. now I am walking along… telling all the campers what to do, and how to do it just the way I like it! I am the boss around here, there is no question! Great Aunt Pam came all the way to camp, she helped Nana so much today and gave me a new outfit…. I will model it and show you in a future love letter. I love Great Aunt Pam, she is going to be an awesome GrandPammy! Her little grand baby will be loved just like me… and is in for a real treat! I am going to have another cuz, and so are you mom and dad, this August! Cousin H. and T. ( since Nana hasn’t gotten permission to use their names) are going to have a baby in August! Very exciting and let me tell you, from experience, I get so spoiled by Great Aunt Pam, and now she will have a new little one to adorn with all her coolness! We need to find a way to put North Carolina a little closer to Michigan though cause it is too far away! Now… as soon as I am walking completely on my own, Nana promises to video a clip for you both… and you will see the Guge in action. Nana plans on taking me to get some walking shoes soon, and that will be great. I am also anxious to see her chase me… and am hoping she is up for the challenge! Another Birthday at Camp!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today is Aunt Allyssa’s birthday!  CAKE FOR ME! AND WE SING, TO ME!   That is how we roll around here… anyone has a birthday… I have taken possession of it, and celebrate it as my own!  Here I am playing and singing… and just having fun!

I had an awesome day…. I did not swim tonight because I was so tired from being up during the night before, but I hope to sleep well tonight!  Until tomorrow I am as always your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

P.S.  We will celebrate with Aunt Allyssa on the weekend… she had school until ten tonight…. no time for cake 🙁

Dinner Time — ME AND MY FOOD FACE!

Dear Mom and Dad…

I am so happy when I sit at the table for dinner. 

I know I have food all over the place, but while we were eating… I was so happy that Nana and the Mr. Nikon, aka the beast popped out and snapped up some photos of me. 

I have worked so hard on getting these teeth, and love using them to eat.

I sit at the table with all the campers and I eat my food.   I like so many things.   I love rice, and I love bacon.   I love chicken, I love pears, I love those little baby food puffs and cheerios.   I love chomping and chomping!   I have to say though Nana has to be careful because I put so much in, and try to swallow it all at once… not easy when cheeks like mine are full of bacon or chicken!   So they ration me… itty bitty bites and itty bitty amounts! 

RATION?  WHO ME, I WON’T PUT TOO MANY PIECES IN AT ONCE….

TRUST ME!

NOPE … THEY STILL ONLY GIVE ME ITTY BITTY AMOUNTS…. but here is how I was at dinner tonight… just lovin’ being around everyone and hanging out!

   Yep,  I had to settle down, I was still chewing… but having a blast eating dinner…

I am a laugh a minute these days….

but No Fun Nana, she made sure I settled down so I wouldn’t choke on my food.

But look Mom and Dad, I am so happy and having a good time enjoying what is left of my days at Camp Nana!

We are all enjoying what time we have left here at Camp!

So you can see, the last piece of rice is devoured and I am done… yea!   Big girl, eating big girl food.   I am awesome!

Until tomorrow, dear Mom and Dad, I am as always, your Little Miss Adorable, your sweet daughter, who loves eating at the table just like Mommy used to ….( I sit next to Nana, and have a blast!)

A New Computer?

Dear Mom and Dad:

Wow, is Nana old, and learning how much she hates “new” things.   Her old computer was Windows XP, and the people who Poppy’s computer is through, well they now have everything on Vista Business or some weird thing like that… and it means… CHANGE for Nana…. who really is not a CHANGE kinda person.   Especially when she is feeling tired and cranky…. Here I am working everything out on my (Aunt Allyssa’s) Nintendo DS …. hey am I allowed to have this little stylus thing… I DON’T THINK SO… which means, I love this thingy… anything I am not suppossed to have… I WANT!

But alas, she is grateful for a computer, and will learn it, but hopes you will be patient with her… since now… my love letters are taking even longer to get up… while she fumbles through teaching herself how to use new uploader and programs…. 

You see the thing is, the computer is really an extension of Poppy’s … it is linked to his office, and he is able to use it remotely or he would live at the office…  and Nana…. well she feels bad that she “blew the other one out of the water” so to speak, so all things considered, Nana is very glad to be able to use it, and should not complain… but SHE REEEEEEALLY IS NOT A FAN OF CHANGE… and guess what, she had just finished writing one book, and was working on my book, the one that has all my love letters in it… YEA, WELL RIGHT NOW UNLESS THE GEEK SQUAD CAN SAVE IT… and the tens of thousands of photos she had on it,  it is gone!   But have no fear, Nana says she will start again and finish it in time for you to come home…. at least she is going to try!   I tell her, chill Nana, I can’t even read yet, so you have some time…. but you know she just has it in her head to start over… and finish this new book that is ALL ABOUT THE GUGE!   With subject matter like “the Guge”, it is sure to be awesome, and I look forard to growing up and reading about my first year!

She really should go to “geek squad school”…  but she will work it all out…. and the love letters, so far get done… despite her lack of aptitude!    Until tomorrow Mom and Dad, please know that I am as always, your daughter,

P.S.   By the way, the reason I am so hooked on “playing” with Aunt Arri’s computer, is that I LOVE SEEING MY FACE IN MY LOVE LETTERS TO YOU AND DADDY.   I love when a camper or Nana and Poppy scroll through and show me  “the baby”.    Today Nana was showing me photos of myself, and you would have cracked up if you could see my face when Nana got to the photo of me and the flower on my butt!   Yea, I looked a bit puzzled as if to say… HEY WHY DIDNT SOMEONE TELL ME I HAD SOMETHING STUCK TO MY BUTT!   I love you both… have a great day and night, I will let you know what Tuesday brings… and hopefully Nana will hone her computer skills a bit…. so long as it doesn’t interfere with my play time… she should do that while I sleep, problem is, I am not so into that either…   ttyl…. “The Guge”
