How did I get to be here at Camp Nana?

Hello Mama, and Daddy…..

Guilliana goes on a field trip today!Dear Mom and Dad,

Nana finished Chapter 11!   Now, I know now where I am from, how mommy came to know daddy, and when I am big, I will have the story from Nana… what is not yet determined, is where I am going… and I am so glad to have a lifetime with you to figure it all out.   Nana says, she remembers mommy in grade school, laughing and smiling and twisting her curls.   She says she remembers her growing and learning, she remembers her graduation from high school, from basic training, and all the wonderful things she has accomplished while in the military.   She just wanted me to write and remind mommy and you about all the great things we have to look forward to.   Riding a bike… rollerblades, tea parties, story time, birthday parties, and sleep overs, school projects, and arts and crafts, baking cookies, and yes maybe “time outs’ but the list of things is endless.   And from what I understand, Nana or AKA  “the overprotective one”, well, it’s unlikely she will let me do anything much here at camp besides, EAT SLEEP AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE DIAPER CHANGES, but you can bet your bottom dollar, that anything fun, like slides, or baseball, or more strenous than peek a boo, well she will leave all those RISKY things to the two of you… she says she’s already done all that worrying… SIX TIMES OVER… so I will work on my list of things to do with you when you return from the land of sand, and you two work on yours.  Together, we should have one heck of a time when you get back!

If I could I would be telling a story right now... I love to talk...

Nana and I, with Aunt Arri had “stuff” to do today.   Nana went to visit her friends at the post office, and I got to say hello.   They are so nice to Nana there, and I love being fussed over.   We also had to go to the bank.   Poppy met us there to do some paperwork, and I was adorable.   Here I am today, what do you think?

In addition to talking, I am pretty much into putting my fingers in my mouth all the time...

I love field trips, every where I go, I get so many people to smile and I have fun.   We had to pick up dipes and wipes, and then some butt paste too.  Then it was back to camp, and play time with my buddy Elmo!

Lovin' Elmo!

Nana says, she hopes you had a great day, and that you know you are both loved and missed.   You are going to be back here one day soon and we will begin our ‘lifetime’ together!

Me.... letting somebody know... the princess is talking!

Tomorrow is Friday, and we will be hanging out at Camp, learning and playing… I ate some Chicken with Country Vegetables and Rice for dinner tonight.  NOT A FAN, BUT LOVED MY Apples and Apricots.   Yesterday I ate some really creamy babyfood Mac and Cheese, and liked it, but really I am still majorly into the BOB.   Bob and I … well it is still my favorite meal.  I try new things though and do love FRUIT.    Until tomorrow, let me just say, I am and always will be, your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Your Little Miss... Adorable... sending hugs and kisses to the land of sand!

Guillianna!   Here is my day in review….. hoping it puts smiles onto both of your faces!

P.S.   Yes today is Thursday, and No… there was no Gappy tonight, because she is doing something very hard for her …  Gappy and her daughter are going to be far apart too… and she is helping to move her from Michigan to North Carolina (so hard, yet it is what my cuz wants, and that makes Gappy happy!)…. WE MISS YOU GAPPY.    Hope your trip was nice, and you and Uncle Brian, enjoy traveling.   Miss you both, come home soon… Love your Great Niece…

and to my Mimi… I bet you are sooooo excited.   I hope  you too have a very safe trip  ( not sure when you leave, but last we at camp heard you would be on your way near the Fourth of July…. I will be thinking of you and Popa!

HALF WAY to ‘R&R’!

I love you guys, hope you are smiling today...

Dear Mom and Dad,

We have made it to the FIRST ‘half way’ mark.  When we began this trip to Camp Nana  and you to the land of sand, we knew that you would get R&R in December.   We are still hopeful that you will be here to visit me then.   We have made it through February, March, April, May and June.   We have made it half way… and I am happy to say, I am okay.  For me, I won’t remember any of my stay here at camp, or these months that have passed- nor will I remember the remaining time here.   Nana says, it is the two of you who have had to deal with so much.  She and I are so proud of you, and well I feel so lucky that you are working on making my little princess dreams become reality.   I know Nana is trying to make sure you get to see me each and every day…

Another photo shoot.... sure if it will make Mommy and Daddy smile!

So here I am today THE FIRST DAY OF JULY, APPROACHING MY SEVEN MONTH PRINCESS-VERSARY!

I am staying in today, no field trip, and I have much to do at camp.  I love my little jumperoo.  So many things to play with, and look at me reaching… it is a skill I have mastered in the past few weeks and not only can I reach for things, I switch them from one hand to the other.   I have been able to do this for a bit, but now I do it with a purpose, and “pick” one toy over another.

Here I am reaching for the toy that hangs above me...

More of me…

I can multi-task.... I am playing and watching Baby Bach!

I hope both mommy and daddy had a good day, and please remember that I am doing okay here in Michigan.   My snuffy nose is better, the humidifier helped.    More of me, here I am thinking about you guys…

Pondering things....

I have the cutest little fingers… not to mention some pretty amazing blue eyes and kissable cheeks, but again, you already knew that…

I am getting good at all the activities in my jumperoo...

I love you both very much, and hope you have good dreams about me tonight, I am sending you all my love,  and as always am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Hugs and Kisses.... from me to you!

Guillianna!  P.S.  All my Aunts and my Uncle went with Poppy tonight to help Ms. Pat.   They came home so happy to spend the evening with her… even though it was a very hard day for her.   Nana and I were at camp, but our hearts are always with Ms. Pat.    We hope to see her on Saturday, my princess-versary… for flagging and spreading wishes for  Mommy and Daddy to be home home soon!

Going Out Today…Camp Director has Doctor Appointment!

Hey Mama and Daddy, I am sitting in the chair looking cute!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today is Tuesday, and I had to go out with Nana to her doctor appointment.  Glad to say it is her not me… I woke up early today, and during the night, my nose was a little snuffy, but I don’t have a cold.  Nana is putting a humidifier in the bedroom for me.   It should help.

Me talking... and wiggling in the chair!

Nana and I went to see her doctor, and then back to Camp.   I wore shorts today.   And yes I was adorable.   My shorts and shirt have little ice cream cones on them incase you can’t tell.   I tried to pick them off, but they don’t come off.   Still, I had fun trying.

Crackin myself up!

In a few days I will be seven months old.   This means, we are even closer than ever to being together again.   Camp is good.  The pets are behaving themselves, as are my Aunts and Uncle.   All the Aunts have set up their school schedules for fall, and Uncle Nick has applied to law school, but since he didn’t get back from the South Pacific before the application deadline, he may not be able to go in the fall.   We will see.   Poppy is really working hard like usual, and Nana, well she continues to sing.   Any suggestions?   Ha, it’s okay, she makes me laugh.   Still no American Idol contract in the cards for her…. I love playing peek a boo… and patty cake.   I love eating…. I love cereal and fruit baby food, but am not liking any meat baby food.  Some veggies are cool, but really am more into the cereal and fruit thing for now.

Still telling my story... and being certain EVERYONE listens... in a not so bossy way!

Dr. H. always makes Nana tow the line with all her NANA STUFF… his office staff is so nice, and everyone there was so nice to me.   Nana says all is well and she is taking good care of herself so that she can help you and daddy!   As for me,  I am working on rolling over still.   I wiggle and squirm all over in the crib.  No crawling yet, but lots of rolling moving and scooting.   Nana hopes you will be able to see me on the NanaCam.

It's like this see... just listen to me, and do it the way I like it and I don't whine or cry... got it?

Nana has such a hard time with which photos to put into my love letters, she takes WAY too many, AND then she can’t help but put up a bazillion…

Just like her singing,

and her kisses…

The keep going on and on and on, yet my photos are a  bit easier on the eyes, than her singing is on the ears…

 MORE OF ME….

Hey I have an idea... can you guess what it is? And no it isn't earplugs to block Nana's singing!

I hope you are having a good day, and that you love seeing my cheeks and smile.   I look forward to getting pictures from you and if the mail did it’s thing you should be getting a care package from Nana, Poppy and all of us at Camp Nana!  Until tomorrow, remember I am always your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Hey, maybe I wanted the Black Beast and Nana to take more photos.... hey where you goin'?

Guillianna!

Taking time to smell the roses!

Taking time to smell the roses!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Trying to smell the roses.... but.... they aren't real so.... I am not getting this whole SMELL THE ROSES THING!

Today was a stay at home day,  and I just hung with my peeps here at Camp Nana.  The dogs, well they were their usual slobbering and barking selves… the kitties, were good too.  Grizzy is currently on Prozac … she is doing better than she was… even if Nana is not real cool with medicating her, she figures it is better than having her continue having some of the kitty issues she was having.   All in all the animals are still running the zoo.

I'm thinking maybe I prefer a toy to the roses thing.

We are getting ready for the big 7TH PRINCESS-VERSARY here at camp.  The day is usually pretty important in these parts…. THEY CALL IT ‘FLAGGIN’ DAY’.   Remember my Guillianna pins… well Nana had a bunch made, and we plan on getting up really early in the morning…. and delivering a US flag to as many people as we have flags for!     They say it is fun… I am just hoping that all we do is “flag”.   I mean if this event includes Nana singing…. OH SAY CAN YOU SEE…. or ‘She’s a Grand Old Flag’  well let’s just say… it could be a long day!   I mean do you know just how many YANKEE DOODLE DANDY SONGS NANA KNOWS?   Scary…

I am so cute Nana can't decide which photos to use for my love letter... so you will get all of them!

As for me, I am game… anytime I get to ride in a car, I am diggin’ it.  I am also on the early riser list… so getting up early is a piece of cake.

Livin' up to my nick name DROOLIANNA!

Here I am today, what do you think… don’t I look exceptionally cute mom… I have on your favorite outfit.   This is an action shot….  I call this shot….”DROOLIN’ “…  and I can “reach” for things now too… look Mom and Dad…

I have mastered the whole.... "reaching skill"! See me reach! Woo woo!

As you can see, still sporting the bluest of eyes… and cutest smile ever.

How about a cheek to plant a kiss on? I think you should...Nana does ALL THE TIME!

My cheeks are so kissable that someone may just have to call for back up if Nana plants one more kissing spree on my cheeks… jeez I am surprised there is anything left…. she gives me a bazillion a day for each you and daddy… that’s like TWO BAZILLLION KISSES A DAY.     So here is my day at a glance….enjoy Mom and Dad, and know I love you and as always am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!   P.S.  Mom and Dad, my referral came through to get my cardiology appointment.  I go on July 16th.   Aunt Nori, THANK YOU so much for the adorable t-shirt and bib… I will model it for you soon.   xoxo
