My visit is going great!

Dear Mom and Dad,

While I miss you very much, I must say… I am all about having so many Aunties and my Uncle pamper me!  The more the merrier I say.   My favorite word…. ME!   My second favorite word  GUGU and then there is my third favorite…. NO!

I am talking up a storm for everyone.   I love this attention!

I am as curious as can be.  I love exploring and keeping all the campers busy.   I am warming up a bit to the furry campers… just not a fan of the barking ones….. when they bark it even startles Mr. Griff…. so it’s okay that it startles me too.   I have to say No Bubba!   I am the boss afterall….  I love and miss you and daddy, and until tomorrow, I am as always your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

Good Morning FROM THE MITTEN STATE!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Well here I am at Camp Nana… and I am sending you hugs and kisses from the Mitten State!

Yep it is true… I am visiting my Nana and Poppy and all the campers.   I must admit… I AM NOT FINDING IT FAMILIAR HANGING OUT WITH THE FURRY CAMPERS.   THE TWO HUNDRED POUND DOG IS A LITTLE INTIMIDATING, BUT TODAY I GOT RE AQUAINTED WITH THEM ALL.   I have forgotten how I used to love them all.. and now… well I am not a fan of even kitty cats!   I am however a fan of my Poppy’s –  and all the human campers here.  They are taking very good care of me and they are enjoying me being the ” little exploerer” that I am.   I go on expeditions and love finding my way around.   I am very independent, and the campers are laughing everything I do… which I will admit, being the center of attention  is something I love.   Who wouldn’t?

I am only in the Mitten State for a few days, and then I am back to Ft. Hood.   I hope you and dad are doing well, I miss and love you both.  So much has happened here in the Mitten State.  All the campers are busy busy busy, but with me around, well they are all even busier than usual, because now they have a little something called GUGU TIME!  This is the time where all things revolve around how many times they make me smile in a day.

Since I went to Fort Hood, Nana had her broken back fixed and she is healing, Poppy – you guessed it, is still working so hard, and keeps all the campers happy and safe.  My Nana is showing me photos of my Great Grandparents, and I got to see GG-ma and Great Papa.  I showed up on their door step after we landed at the airport, I had a flower for GG-ma it was handmade and had a note inside from me!

I also saw “Great Aunt Pam” and Cuz Brit for a quick visit before they leave to go see the birth of Great Aunt Pam’s first Grand Baby in North Carolina…. so things here are changing too.   They all say I have changed so much, I talk more than when I left here three months ago…. I eat all kinds of new foods.  They see that  I am very attached to you and daddy… and I am getting so big!   It makes them all so happy to see me again and to see how well I am doing.

So Mom and Dad, you can see, I am doing great on my mini-visit to the Mitten State.  I love you both very much and don’t forget, today as always I am, your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

Mom and Me!

Okay, so my great Grandma Sally is most likely shaking her finger saying ‘*grammarically it’s Mom and I”, but Mom and Me sounded so “cute”.   And if I am all over any one word in the English language  it is the word CUTE.    I am getting so big…. look I have mommy’s squint….

Love Guillianna!

It is July – Independence Day!

Dear Friends and Family…

I hope you take the time to look through the dates of my love letters.   Since February 2009 thu May 2010 you can read each and every letter, or see me as I grew during that time while mom and dad completed a second tour of duty in the land of sand.   So much happened in that year, and every bit of my life was chronicled for my mom and dad to see.   Now I am at home with them, at Fort Hood.

It has been quite a while since I wrote to everyone, Nana, my personal secretary has been on a sabbatical of sorts.   I am living at Fort Hood and have been adjusting to life here.   Mom and Dad are both back from the land of sand, and  we are all living together in our new home.   I have a wonderful life and my parents and I are adjusting to life as a family.   It is all good… and I am so glad for their safe return.

To my camper buddies, I miss you…. and to my Great Grandparents… I miss you too….

A year ago the campers and I went delivering flags in the community.   This year some of the campers will have honored the tradition that has been going on for so long at camp Nana.  Nana is pretty sick…. but she went in the car for a while.   I wasnt able to leave  you a flag personally, but Nana had the campers do it for me and all of us!      A flag…. left at a doorstep… to say Happy Fourth of July…

We … wish you all good health and happiness and we honor all of the service men and women, as well as all the civilians who honor the stars and stripes.   HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

Love Guillianna!
