Final Days at Camp…

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today is Wednesday, and as my love letters come to a close I hope to remind anyone who has sent me comments back, that if you wish for Nana to ‘exclude’  your comments from my LOVE LETTERS from my MOM AND DAD’ s love letter book, please let her know soon.   If you have comments that you are planning on leaving me as my camp Nana days come to a close… please know you have until May 12th to submit them on line… after that they may not be able to make it in time (or get put into) my LOVE LETTER BOOK that Nana is making for me!

I have been busy today.   Nana wanted me to let all of the Gold Fish Mini’s know that next Wednesday… April 21 rst WILL BE MY LAST SWIMMING CLASS, AND all the campers are coming I think.   It will be a our last session together, and I will be happy to see everyone! 

Today’s photo shoot as wonderful as always… and well I have fun taking photos and sayiing CHEESE! ‘

Do you see how silly I am?   I love making everyone smile….

and most of all, I love when everyone is smiling and happy around me.

I have made so many of the campers smile… and they make me smile too…

Can’t wait to see you and daddy smiling!

It will be a great day.

I hear that I make all kinds of friends and family smile – I have visitors who check in on my smile nearly every day… and well, let’s just say I LOVE KNOWING THAT I CAN PUT A SMILE ON A FACE… with all the crazy stuff in the world today…. a sweet and simple smile… makes every thing so much better!

Me being a full of excitement!   And lets just say, I am either cutting some more teeth, or trying to impress Mr. Griffin the St. Bernard King of Drooling… hows this for some baby slime?

So Great Aunt Pam, came on out for a visit  tonight to help Nana AGAIN, yes and of coarse to see me!   I hear since she is going to be a GRANDPAMMY, I think her little grandbaby is gonna be very lucky cause she has been such an awesome GREAT AUNT PAMMY!  I know first hand… and my new baby cuz… will be so LUCKY!  Bath time or TUBBY TIME AS I LIKE TO CALL IT, is still a fav!

Camp Nana on a Tuesday…

Dear Mom and Dad,

Well today is Tuesday… and we had a very early morning… because well, I awakened at about three… and Nana… well she too is having a little sleeping difficulty.   So I do my part and keep her company.   Poor Aunt Arri has had some issues with her ear/jaw…. and even had a little blood come from her ear so she had an early ear doctor appointment.   (Turns out it is her jaw that is bothering her, and her hearing and her ear are fine and dandy!   Good news! )   There were other appointments to be had, and we got everything done that needed to be done, and still had plenty of play time.  Topping off the day, a call from Mom!   Who told us she is on the fast track to see her princess in the upcoming weeks…. shhhhhh no telling  exactly when just yet, not till Nana says she daddy and her unit are  out  –  of the Land of Sand. (Hopefully for good, twice is enough!)   So let me tell you,  I love playing this game where I find Aunt Arri… like hide – n – seek… it is fun!

So – all decked out in my red polka dots and stripes… with little lady bug shoes… I am here to say…

Nana – the things you dress me in… silly Nana!

Do these stripes may make my baby butt look big?   They go the wrong direction..

Hmmmm.. I think Nana pretty much wears jeans and a plain shirt, either white or gray every single day! 

What is with the wild child look?   Oh…. so you think I am the wild child?

Nah, I am not wild… Iam just adorable, and sweet, and for now… I let you all put pretty much anything on me…

but just you wait, soon very very soon I will be sure to be telling Mom exactly what I WANT TO WEAR… AND THE RUFFLED SOCK THINGY, WELL CHANCES ARE THAT IS GONNA STOP…

Look out Fort Hood here I come… and ruffled socks, polka dots, stripes and all… I plan on having a blast!

Dear Mom and Dad,

So do you know what I wanted to do today?   Hmmmm… I know it will be hard for you to guess… but… I will tell you… it involves a spatula, pots and pans, a mini kitchen, and Paula Deen!   YES I WAS A CHEF… and yes, I know it may sound like I am in a rut, but I am not… today I tood a ‘WIGGLES’ break and yes I had Food Network on…  I have my spatula in my hand just in case… but I am watching and learning ….

Hmmmm, Wow…. that’s a lot of butter!   I watched and then, I was off to my kitchen… and work, work, work!  I get pretty serious when I am working… look at me in my kitchen !

Now do not think I have forgotten about my M&M babies of the other day… you remember them?  I take them every place, I swaddle them in my little spitties.. and hug and kiss em’   I just love them ya know… and don’t think for even one second I would leave them out of playtime… cause here I am FEEDING THEM WITH MY SPATULA just like I do all the other campers…

Yep, I then thought to myself…. “Self, you better let Nana take some awesome photos for the COOKBOOK”  Yep, I think I will let the beast, or Mr. Nikon snap up a few, just in case I decide to have a cookbook published… after all… I am really quite the Chef…  so here goes… my head shots ..

I had a great day today Mom and Dad, hope yours was awesome too… and I hope you enjoyed seeing me at play today…

Last Regular Season Game…

Dear Mom and Dad,

As you probably recall from earlier love letters, the co campers here in THE MITTEN STATE, are RED WING fans.   (No cuz Noah I did not say SHARK FANS, and no Dallas fans either Mom and Dad.. just WING NUTS!

And if you recall, I am the official little spirit stick around here…. so since today was the last game of the regular season for the Red Wings… I am working today…. as a “SS” or SPRIRIT STICK.   This next photo is deceiving… I am not requiring any assistance walking… NOPE… this is what Nana calls… A RE  DIRECT… YEP  –  I was on my way somewhere I was not supposed to go… and 1.. 2.. 3… next thing you know RE DIRECT….  two arms fly out from no where and suddenly I am facing a new direction… CRAZY!    This is me being re- directed from the awesome bowl of water that Nana has for the co camper dogs in the other room!   Now personally I share stuff from my high chair with Mr. Griff , Justice and Libby ALL THE TIME…I drop morsels for them all the time…  and well so what if I want to share their water ….. or play in it… we ARE AFTER ALL CO CAMPERS… AND I LIKE SHARING… BUT NO FUN NANA… SAYS… DOG FOOD BOWLS AND DOG FOOD WATER BOWLS ARE OFF LIMITS… and yes… I get a whole bunch of RE DIRECTS!

Hope you both had a great day, since our RED WINGS WON,  and will advance into the playoffs… I did awesome job.    Nana says win or lose I do an awesome job… HOW NANA HUH?   She says if cuz Noah’s Sharks win the Stanley cup…. then the campers here will wear Shark shirts…. but if the Red Wings win, Cuz Noah should wear a Red Wing shirt!    And I think EVERYONE HOPES THE PENGQUINS DONT WIN,  I had such a battle with Mr. Penguin last year!   Yikes! 

Anyway, just a little Hockey talk to take our minds off the time….. Nana just heard an official date of your arrival to the Mitten State, and is very excitied.   She told me, but I promised to keep it secret a while longer… just until you and daddy are back to FORT HOOD, safely.   I am EXCITED, AND SINCE I AM SUCH A GOOD LITTLE SECRET KEEPER JUST LIKE BEING A GOOD SPIRIT STICK.. I will double check and triple check Nana’s love letters to make certain she is doing a good job!

I had a great day today… and the week ahead looks like more great play dates with the kitchen and who knows I think or hope for a dinner date with my great grandparents one night. 

I also have swimming class… so things here are good.  All the campers are working and have school, but they will be with me more next weekend, so that too is something to look forward to!

I always have spirit stick work to be done as well, so,
