Where is the Pink?

Everybody CLAP! Me clapping!

Dear Mom and Dad:

So the snow thing was not too bad… 4-6 inches at best.  It is however blowing and cold, and a for me a “stay in” at camp day to be sure!

Here I am wearing my new shirt from UNCLE ALLEN.   For as long as Mommy can remember Dr. Allen sends all the campers MICHIGAN TEE’S, and now… look mom… I have my own MICHIGAN HOCKEY JERSEY!  I have only one question…. WHERE IS THE PINK?

I look adorable no matter what color… and the maze and blue of Michigan.. well, I wear it proudly… who knows maybe when I grow up, I will be a student there like Dr. Allen was, or like Miss K!   Who by the way, has an awesome photo shoot of us working together on her computer! Here are a few of the shots! Me working on the computer... cool huh!

Lot’s of fun stuff to do though, since my big birthday, and the holiday’s I have plenty to keep me busy.   I am eating well, and dare I say sleeping a bit better.  I am saying Cat, Dog, and I sing with the Wiggles, a song called Rock a Bye your Bear!   I hold my finger up to my lips and it touches my nose, and I say SHHH! SHHH! SHHHHH!  Sometimes, it looks like I am pickin’ but really I am just singin’!

Rock a bye your bear, bear is now asleep... shhhh shhh shhh!

I play so hard… and have so much fun… here I am just hangin’ and playing at Camp…  can you recognize me in my skinny jeans and NO PINK?

Ready or not... here I come!

So happy when I play!

Hey... how is things in the land of sand... need me to send some toys?

Concentrating on playing... no time to pose!

Hey, look at me.. such a big girl!I am really learning so many things, and having so much fun with all the stuff at camp.

I talk even if no one really understands EVERYTHING I am saying, I talk talk talk…ALL THE TIME!

I can totally call out to any of the campers when I want them to do something… and it works… they come, or know I am calling them.

I pull myself up on everything and can balance myself pretty good, but am not walking just yet… Nana says she thinks that when I start walking… I WILL BE RUNNING!   I have had so much fun… I hope you enjoyed visiting with me today…. I love you both and until tomorrow, I am as always, Your LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, your daughter,

Love you both...and hope you had a good day!

Guillianna!

Here is a cheek for you to leave a kiss on!

Most kissable cheeks ever! Still think Nana should have a limit!

Yea… about that whole kissin’ the cheek thing…. Nana’s should have a limit on how many…Now she says she gets extra since I am fixin’ to leave camp IN A FEW MONTHS… SHE SAYS SHE HAS TO GET EXTRA IN… how fair is that?   I am going to be lucky if I have any cheek left when she is done… YOU THOUGHT GRIFFY SLOBBERS…. Nana is a kiss-a-holic!  And for anyone researching or doing any kind of  BABY KISSING STUDY… THE FACT THAT I AM NOT WEARING PINK TODAY HAD NO BEARING ON ANYTHING STILL A BAZILLION KISSES!

It is SNOWING IN MICHIGAN!

FROM LAND OF SNOW   ……

Hello from the land of SNOW

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today is a snowy day here in the MITTEN STATE.   These Michiganders, or Michiganians sure are a wild bunch… Nana was taken back herself by some photos that were sent to her…. take a look at Michigan ….  Yep, it was one of those things that get sent in e-mails all the time, but just in case you are missing me too much, or GG-ma and Great Papa are missing me too much… JUST THINK WHAT YOU ARE NOT MISSING…  SNOW!  Below is a special edition of my love letter and it is all about snow to give all my friends and family that need one…. a good look at SNOW!  MICHIGAN SNOW!    First let me show you some of ME.. after all, this is “all about Guillianna!”  I just happen to be in my first real SNOW of the season here in Michigan, and I love watching it fall.   I watch the dogs, Mr. Griff, all 200+ pounds of him romp around in it with Justice and Liberty who love the stuff too.   It has been very entertaining, but so far no fun Nana has no intention of letting me go out in it and ROMP!   Nana and I played with my fish aquarium, my purse and all kinds of stuff, I am quite the little active one these days… and we had fun.

I am too adorable for words!

 Watching SNOW

Nana says, Poppy was SOOOOO close to moving to Marquette Michigan at one point… WOW…. can you imagine this much snow?

WEATHER BULLETIN

Up here in the Northern part of Michigan we just recovered from an historic event —
may I even say a “Weather Event of
Biblical Proportions” — with an historic
blizzard of up to 44″ inches of snow and winds to 90 MPH that broke trees in half,
knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds of motorists in lethal snow banks,
closed ALL roads, isolated scores of communities and cut power to 10’s of thousands.

ACTUAL MICHIGAN SNOW!

A few additional facts about this Michigan snow and its people…

FEMA did nothing nor were they asked

Uh yea... that's a lot of snow!
Michiganders sent out caravans of SUV’s to pluck people out of snow engulfed cars
. Truck drivers pulled people out of snow banks and didn’t ask for a penny.  Local restaurants made food.  Police and fire departments delivered it to snow bound familiesFamilies took in stranded people – total strangers ! (I say Poppy would have fit in perfectly in Marquette, cause he is that kind of guy!)

Shovel any one?

Michiganders fired up wood stoves, broke out coal oil lanterns or Coleman lanternsWe put on on extra layers of clothes because up here it is “Work or Die”Even though a Category “5” blizzard of this scale has never fallen this early, living in Northern Michigan they know it can happen.   These photos show Michiganders working together!
  More snow....

Any time people work together it is a great thing!

No matter what the circumstances are, that bring us to it…. working together is far better than fighting and blaming everyone else!

Glad we are only expecting a few inches, and one thing for sure, it may be a slow go tomorrow, and everything may take a little extra time but patience will pay off, and we can all be grateful it wasn’t a storm like the ones in Northern Michigan!

Have a great day everyone!

MICHIGAN… WOW…. THAT’S A LOT OF SNOW!
Yep, this is Michigan…and Iam for now a little pot of gold, a little Michigander/Michiganian… who is ARMY STRONG and lucky to be where there are so many good and kind people.

Special notice to GreatGrandma Sally and Grumpy… I am sure you are missing this stuff.  As are Great Grandma Sharyn and Great Popa Alan.     Hey Dad can you imagine the SNOW BEAST YOU COULD HAVE MADE IN THIS STUFF!   HOPE ALL IS WELL IN THE LAND OF SAND from all of us here in the land of snow…. hmmmm… even if we only got 3 to 5 inches!

CAMP NANA IS ONLY GETTING A FEW INCHES OF THE WHITE STUFF, BUT LOOK HOW MUCH SNOW IS POSSIBLE!

Glad to say this is not CAMP NANA!

NANA SAYS, THE PHOTO BELOW IS FAR MORE APPEALING THOUGH, IT IS WHERE UNCLE NICK WAS LAST WINTER….

WELCOME BACK TO MICHIGAN UNCLE NICK!

Nana is kinda wishing she were here though?

Are you wishing you were back there?

Ya know mom and dad, I hope you are enjoying your weather there in the land of sand at least…

Because I have to say it is really cold here, and for all of us in SE Michigan getting a bit of a storm tonight, look –  I say we are lucky… cause it won’t be anything like this!

I had a great day at camp… we had a trip to Nana’s doctor, but then back at camp for playing and more playing.  Until tomorrow Mom and Dad, I am as always your, Playing with my aquarium!

Little Miss Adorable,

your daughter,

Guillianna!

I love playing with my little fish, and my aquarium, JUST LIKE MOMMY USED TO LIKE!

Back to School

Oh my!

Dear Mom and  Dad,

So today was my first day back at GoldFish Mini class, and I had a BLAST!   I saw a few of the minis, and heard Ettai is doing good.   I had the best time, Great Aunt Pam came to watch, and I did the big underwater swim!

Nana couldnt really capture it well, but here is the one and only shot she did get.   I am under the water and swimming to my instructor.  Uncle Nick was so proud, as were all the Mini spectators.

Guillianna Under Water! I think Uncle Nick  and the other spectators LIKE NANA WERE MORE FREAKED THAN ME!

So Proud!

But I did it, I did not cry, and I did it about a dozen times!   I was awesome!   Loved when everyone clapped for me, and looked for them to do it!

I am a swimming MINI AND I WAS GLAD TO BE BE BACK AT CLASS.

All my aunties are back at school too, so they don’t get back to camp until late, and Uncle Nick starts next week.  Things here are good. I am getting to be a very big girl and love playing with Nana.   Here I am at today’s photo shoot with the beast, I was watching the Wiggles and Nana wanted you to see how intently I watch them.

Concentrating on THE WIGGLES!

I love them, Nana cannot figure out why, but they are so “wiggly” and they dance, and play music… what more could a princess want!   All the other campers love wiggly waffle time… it is all the rage here at Camp Nana… who needs ticketmaster or a concert, when you have cable with The Wiggles on Demand!

Hey don't touch that remote... I have this under control!

And when they are done, I am usually quite vocal and alarmed that our time was so brief.    No Fun Nana says, too much of anyting is not good… so I have “rations’ of TV time….. how fun is that?

Dont' tell me Wiggly Waffle Time is OVER! Say it's not true!

Well, as you can see, I am doing great… and my cheeks are as kissable as ever…. can’t wait for GG-ma and Great Papa to come back… Friday will not be the same that is for sure… all the campers agree… you’re missed!   Mom and dad, I will write you again tomorrow.   Today Nana had the Cardiologist and Surgeon to see and tomorrow one more visit out and about… but after that… it is back to hangin’ at camp and singing 🙁 with Nana!  Until then remember I am as always, your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Can you say it with me... SO SWEET!

Guillianna!

Dictation and Love Letters to the Land of Sand!

Hello, ... it's me looking in my mailbox for mail..... just fixin' to send you a love letter....

Dear Mom and Dad,

So here I am peekin’ a boo at you… through my little mail box.    Yep, I am just getting ready to have my love letter sent off to you… and figured, I would show you how it is done…

First I have to sit and give Nana dictation… so I climb up into my dictation chair, AKA “PRINCESS LAZY GIRL” Chair, why I am not sure, since I am anything but a ‘lazy girl’, this dictation stuff is hard work….. and trying to get Nana to get it right…. well that is a whole other ball of wax…

Getting ready to dictate my love letter of the day!

It is essential that a princess be comfortable when giving dictation, and bunny slippers, well they are a must!

Looking around making sure I have all the necessary tools for an adequate dictation...

Some folks, when doing public speaking imagin the audience in underpants… so when dictating to you and daddy, I have tell my story to objects around…like today’s object was a beany baby heart bear…

I get so excited... and I just keep on dictating...

Sometimes I must go too fast for Nana, and I have to repeat myself, or start all over…

I am very excited about something and probably had to tell the story more than once!

After I get my love letter completed, ( as shown in the little blue envelope above) I deliver it.. to the mailbox and Nana does computer magic, and whoosh… it’s there in the land of sand!   Cool huh!

Me hand delivering my special delivery love letter of the day AFTER I'VE DICTATED TO NANA!

After such hard work and having to repeat myself several times, I need a moment … this is my Zen moment…

Me in a Zen moment!

Music is my favorite, I love it in most any form, proof of that is my ability to stay around Nana when she sings and dances… it’s not a pretty sight… but back to ME… a little Zen, a little piano… and I am good to go again….batteries recharged and ready to play play play again.

Doe Ray Me Fa So La Tea Doe....

Love letters to you and dad is a process that involves all kinds of fun… and now you have seen the behind the scenes look at how it all works…

Hope things are good in the Land of Sand, and you enjoyed seeing your little Pot of Gold today.   I am a cutie… and have been so very good.   But did you expect  anything less?   Until tomorrow please know I am as always your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Sweetest Baby... sending love letters to Mom and Dad!

Guillianna!

Hope all is well with the rest of my loyal readers… Best wishes from Camp Nana!
