Dear Guillianna and Elijah –

Hope your Monday was good and your week is off to the very best start!

Things are getting changing in the Mitten – fall is here the days are getting colder and shorter for sure. It doesn’t seem to matter how hard I try though – I think about you both day and night. Wonder what is happening in your lives and if you know how we are wishing you every happiness. We wonder if you remember all the silly singing Nana did and dancing with a Poppy. Do you remember Moana ? And the dances. I am going to try and upload a video and hope that it works in the next few days.

There are so many videos and photos that I look at and can’t help but wonder what more I can do to help your family see the love we have. The love you experienced in the Mitten and how important it is that after so many years of being here or around your Nana and Poppy that it must be terribly sad for you both that you cannot see us. I know that last I heard mom say would be able to call as often as you wanted and would see us in about two weeks. I try hard not to worry about you and wonder what you must be thinking or what you’ve been told – but the truth is – I do know that you will remember the truth and maybe you’re afraid to say how much you want to call. Maybe you aren’t allowed to cry , like it was before long ago. It’s super important you know that we understand. You truly must live according to the expectations of your parents and we hope you will never feel sad for being unable to send love back to the Mitten.

Everyone here remembers your smiles and happiness and will wait with open arms until the day all is well for you to visit, talk, or even if you never can – you’ll be able to see for yourself as you grow older the way things were.

I cant imagine what has happened or how you feel. I hope you never forget all the good you both felt and the happy times. Therefore I will keep posting the memories and hope when your grown you will know we cannot wait until we can see you and talk to you again.

Until then you must always work super hard at school and be happy and full of love for mom and dad and the journey you’re traveling now.

As long as it takes where ever it leads know we love you to the moon and back- FOREVER ANS ALWAYS-

Michigan vs.Michigan State

Dear Guillianna and Elijah-

It’s that time of year again. University of Michigan vs Michigan State.

Do you remember when you had to pick a school you wanted to win it – So much fun wasn’t it?

Well this year the University of Michigan won. Michigan is so pretty in the fall and this year is no exception. These are some photos my friend Miss Donna took.

I am hoping you have good memories of Michigan like Poppy and I have of the two of you during all your years here. We miss you so very much. We cannot wait til we can hug and kiss and play with you both again. Everyone here is doing well. They all send love- hugs and kisses and they too cannot wait to see you again. Cousin Love…

Dear Guillianna and Elijah

So it’s been a few days since I have been able to write you – this site has been a challenge to get up and running smoothly since Nana is not the sharpest crayon in the box when it comes to computers!    I am sorry for the delay but please know I am thinking of you both all the time – even when I am not writing to you  – We think of you both all the time- songs come on and I can see you dancing around the living room with Poppy in my head ! If we go to a restaurant and everyone asks how you two are doing!    I know there are lots of people here that want to send love to you both – that miss you !    Rylee and Liam for sure say they miss play dates and I promised them when you do come back to visit we are having a big party to celebrate the visit !   FOR SURE !

Aunt Allyssa made Nana a picture for the new condo and the whole Hamlin family came over the other night to give it to me and hang it!

They are growing so big! I can’t begin to imagine how big you’ve grown in these past months. I wish for you both to be healthy and happy!

Crazy how big everyone is ! I hope you are doing well in school and learning is fun. The school is hopefully a lot like Notre Dame and we hope you have adjusted to it well. The teachers had friends here all send BIG HUGS and wishes for the best fourth and first grade years ever ! Be good, kind, sweet today and always !
