The Last Monday of 2009
Dear Mom and Dad,
I am amazed that December has passed so quickly, and a whole year later, I am thinking Nana is right… time does pass fast!
I few weeks ago, I found it a challenge to feed myself little puffs… now I can do it simply and quickly. I ate my first grilled cheese sandwich today from a kiddie menu! I loved it. Yes, I did have some help with that but hey it will be no time before I have half a sandwich in my hands, and eating away!
I am loving crawling.. and do it fast and well. I can pull myself up into a standing position, and love to do that in the crib around two a.m. ! At least lately, I have been waking up in the night a lot. Maybe tonight I will sleep …. (Nana hopes, yet knows that if I do, she will be up checking why I am not up) Today is the very last Monday of the year and I hear New Year’s Eve is a night for us to have dinner with anyone of the campers who is still interested or available to have dinner with Nana and Poppy! The older campers have plans… and Nana Poppy and I won’t be drinking GRAPE JUICE, like the other campers did at midnight for so many years… Nana says I will get a my usual… THE BOB! Which is cool with me… since I ‘LOVE IT!’ and there is no risk of the dreaded rash.
Mommy called today for the first time since she has been back in the land of sand. She went before the ‘board’ and is eligible for a promotion. GREAT NEWS… AND HER SWEET BABY GUGE IS PROUD! (or at least I will be when I understand all this) I too am going to be promoted to a bigger girl car seat soon. When I gain a few more pounds.. I will be ready to sit up in a forward facing seat! Wow so many things to look forward to in 2010… big girl car seat, more hair and possible pony tails and barrettes! WALKING, AND TALKING! Mom and Dad coming home… it will be FAN-TABULOUS!
What you say I will be giving up the ‘bob’ in 2010….
Hmmm, can we talk about this?
Exactly when does this occur?
Nana says its up to the pediatrian and me… like when I am eating enough of the right foods to stop the bob, and have no more tummy issues! Whew, I am glad to hear that is not happening any time too soon…. CRAZY!
I still say you and Daddy should set me up for an EYE LASH AD, CAUSE let me say, I am all lash!
I am being a good little camper and love you both very much. I don’t know if you two get to have any kind of New Years’ celebration, but all of us here at camp will be thinking about you two coming home in 2010, and begining our lives together…. we will all be thinking how good it would be to have all the soldiers return to their families… and we will do it not only on New Years’ Eve but every day! Until tomorrow, ‘CRAZY’ LONG lash girl, your daughter,
Guillianna!
