HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Dear Mom and Dad…

I thank you for bringing me to a world full of so many wonderful things.   There are so many people from all over wishing me a very happy birthday, so many friends, and family from Port Townsend Washington, California, Texas, Michigan… even strangers I have never met from other countries, states, and places.  I am so glad you and daddy were able to be here with me and the BEAST captured some special moments of the day.   It let’s me share with all our family and friends … no matter where they are, or what they are doing…. a piece of what makes life special.   MOMENTS LIKE THESE!

Whether someone had a tough day,  a medical issue or a very long and uncomfortable MRI( eh hem….), or maybe there are people who are otherwise busy  –  or far away and could not be with me physically… I know… all my bud’s were still thinking of me and THEY ARE LOVING, that I was with you and dad on this special day!  And maybe it should be said, that they are even a little relieved they didn’t have to sit through Nana’s rendition 🙁 of “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” yet again… as I have. 

 I do however have some very serious news to report… I discovered this today… and it is true there is someone with eyes bigger and brighter than mine! 

It’s all good though… I am a not the jealous type, and I love my new Kai-lan doll, she “makes my heart feel SUPER happy!  🙂   Can you tell I like her   A LOT!

  Here we are mom having our birthday dinner together… about a year ago I was giving you a way to go, and well let’s just say it… in your tummy… now I sit on your lap, and love every second of the time we have together.

Who knew there would be a party crasher, how did you know I love Mr. Pooh Bear?

He is even better in person!

Softer, more fun to climb on… than I ever imagined… and soooo BIG! 

The beast even captured me in the middle of writing my love letter on my computer…. no peeking mom…. you can read it when I am done!

I think another amazing part was the whole birthday singing and wish thingy that comes with CHEESECAKE, home made by my GG-ma!   It had fire –  it was sweet, and the perfect consistency… it was AWESOME.  Can you believe it, great homemade food (the kind where you can taste the love that went into it!), a free wish… and a fire display… it’s hard to believe so many great happenings… it’s enough to make a baby say… “whoa… is this really happening? “

  But it did happen, I turned one, and we all made a wish.   I know there is that whole don’t tell anyone your wish thing…  let’s just say, my wish is pretty obvious… Not only did it include special GET WELL WISHES for a special someone… but it included the obvious ones for you Mom and Dad to finish this whole job thing in the land of sand and get back home ASAP!    Not that I am disclosing a big secret… and not that I am not saying something you don’t already know.    I am just sayin’   things will be nice when that happens.    You really can trust me…there were all kinds of other SECRET wishes in there too…. like for a drum set, and a pony… a bazillion toys… VOICE LESSONS FOR NANA, (who said that?) and of course clothes…I amafterall,  a girl ya know…  100% Princess!

Until tomorrow Mom and Dad, I hope you know how much fun this was for me.   Thanks for all the incredible birthday gifts… and letting me be YOUR LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, born to you this day, one year ago… and forever your sweet daughter…

ONE MORE DAY!

Dear Mom and Dad,

So as you know Mom and Dad, since we are here in Michigan together… it is cold, and it is snowing right now.   I am very excited because we have had a chance to hang out together.     WE HAVE ONLY ONE MORE DAY UNTIL THE BIG DAY.  Tomorrow, your little baby is turning ONE YEAR OLD.    WOO WOO, and I am so excited you are here with me to join in this momentous day!   Yes… I said MOMENTOUS, after all, I am soon to be one..

Today there are no words to really describe what happened at camp… not because of the expression “what happens at Camp Nana stays at Camp Nana – no – no – no…  we ALL KNOW that will never happen… but there are no words because.. I say,  how does one adequately express what it is like being with Mom and Dad after so many days apart? 

Well here is how I will put it… FABULOUS… STUPENDOUS AND MAGNIFICENT  just to start with… and better yet… since NO words really can describe it… let’s use photos!  Coolest Daddy ever, and COOLEST BABY EVER huh?

Yeah, it is like I said…can you see it… she has the most awesome smile!  I don’t know why… in a moment she’s going to have Princess Presents to work with… (hee hee) but she won’t care… she’s my mom… and she is not afraid of anything… not even Princess Presents of the Rose Garden variety.

Now mom and dad… get ready because tomorrow is our big day… your sweet Little Miss Adorable, is turning ONE and our visit together has just begun.   I PLAN TO HAVE A BUNCH OF FUN!   Love always, your Little Miss Adorable, your sweet baby who is about to turn one…

My Mom and Dad Are Here!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Thank you for coming home for my first birthday.   I am so happy. We are all happy you are safely home!   I was there at the airport in my little gold princess clothes my Uncle Nick found for me, your ‘pot of gold’ waiting to see you.  

 Nana has been showing me a DVD of you and Daddy everyday, and I have to say… when I saw you coming, I recognized you! I was not shy, and I was ready for hugs!   Here is our reunion… today… for all my family and friends to see… Happy Holiday’s to everyone of you… from all of us at Camp Nana!  I am not sure it gets any better than this, UNTIL IT IS THE DAY YOU ARE HOME FOR GOOD!

I was at the airport when the two of you got there… and after so many days apart, I was finally in the arms of my parents again!    Hugs…. for daddy!  Kisses for mommy!  I love making a Guillianna sandwich with a parent on each side, and me in the middle.

A DANCING Pot of Gold

Dear Mom and Dad…

I haven’t heard yet that you are any further than Kuwait, so we still wait.  I hope you’re really closer to home than Kuwait, but  you guessed it, I will gladly wait, just to see you get home again, safe!

I really love music.  I love a show called the Wiggles, where they sing a lot. I love when Barney sings.  I can even tolerate Nana’s singing, which means  I MUST REALLY LIKE MUSIC, (in any form, even when it doesn’t quite sound like music.   Me and my piano.

Now if pressing one key is good…then personally I am thinking four or five at once must be better.

 I have a special love affair with one Mr. Patrick Swayze, that I have told you about.   There is this one part in a movie of his, where he dances with this girl, and let me just tell you… it doesn’t matter where I am or what I am doing, if I hear that song….I freak out… and I am off to dance.   This little clip is dark and well was hard to capture since Im so fast to go see my favorite part… but worth a look because I LOVE dancing to it.   My hand is a shakin’ to the beat, and I one happy camper!

We are hoping you will be at a new destination soon, and closer to the USA, and for all my family and friends… who have been keeping me company while mom and dad have been away… I say THANK YOU.   At first , I thought while they visit me I will not need to send them a ‘love letter’.   They will be here with me and know how my day is. 

However, I think without the support of all Nana and Poppy’s friends, we here at camp  would not have made it through this first half of their tour.  Nearly 30,000 visits from people everywhere! It is amazing the the kind letters Nana has received and the friends that have become regular visitors to my website. 

Today there was a story in the news that was soooooo sad.   There was a man, who was in the waiting room of an Emergency room here in AMERICA, after waiting for over an hour to see a triage nurse, he sat, and all the while, he was dying  –  of a heart attack.   Others in the waiting room stole his watch off him as he sit dying.   One person was captured, and the others involved were not.   It is an awful story.   It makes someone wonder… about man’s inhumanity to man! 

So Nana decided to think instead about all the great people she has come to know and who have come to know all of us here at Camp by way of my website…The huge and wonderful response by thousands who have been following me, some of you since last February and new friends each and everyday.   People who have kind words, and well wishes, people who really make being with out my mom and dad… just a bit more bearable.   Nana says, so long as she is physically able, she will continue to update daily… UNTIL MOM AND DAD COME HOME FOR GOOD!   She will attempt to keep us all connected through our ‘rest and relaxation’  in these upcoming days, and through out the entire rest of your tour of duty.   Hoping that all those who have taken the time to care, will see me in the arms  of Mommy and Daddy in the very near future, until tomorrow, I am your Little Miss Adrorable, your daughter,  your POT OF GOLD WAITING FOR YOU AT THE END OF A RAINBOW…

Visitors from all over the world, friends and family… thank you very much for all the great notes of support, and for checking in on me… when this is over and done, Nana will have kept every love letter and every response  she is giving them to mom and dad – for me to keep, and  they will remind us of what we should be able to say is  truly man’s HUMANITY to a very special little girl, to all of Nana and Poppy’s the campers, and her parents!  Thank you for your kindness.
