WHAT IS HAPPENING TO NANA?

Dear Mom and Dad,

So today is Wednesday… AND IT OCCURS TO ME, Nana… is losing her head!

My cousins who are so good and always take such care to check in on me, the ones in CA…. who I just showed you the present they sent me….yea, those cousins… well NANA DIDNT EVER SEND THEM THE HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARD OR TELL THEM HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM ME IN MY LOVE LETTER!   Can you believe it… “bad Nana!  Very very bad…. so many birthday’s have been remembered…. even mentioned in my letters are birthday’s of folks who don’t even call or write… but these cousins who NEVER MISS A DAY of ALL ABOUT GUILLIANNA don’t even get a card?   What is up with that!   So, today, I sat her down and gave her a talking to…

Now don’t make me say this again Nana, you MUST remember important stuff…like my cousins birthday! Silly Nana!

So today was Goldfish Mini class, and it was just three mini’s.   I missed my mini friends… It was just the boys and I!  Alex and Conner were there but not Maddie, not Etta and no Simone…?   MISSED YOU.   And more importantly you guys missed swimming with my Poppy.  Yep you heard me right, Poppy took me swimming tonight because Uncle Nick my GMP(Goldfish Mini Partner) had a very important trip to make, and wouldn’t be back in time.  (Hope you have fun Uncle Nick, and I hope my sparkly shoes bring a smile 🙂 but to be sure you were missed.  Poppy tried to do the monkey jumping, but it was his first time….can’t wait to monkey jump next week with my GMP)   I thank Poppy for rushing to get to my class tonight, and for being an awesome GMP substitute.

After swim class I met my GG-ma and Great Papa for dinner, and still was not too tired for more excercise when I got back to camp.   Yes anyone up for a few hoops?   (Aunt Arri and Aunt Alyx got me this toy… Uncle Nick is jealous I am sure…  hey maybe I need those sparkly tennis shoes back?  Nah, I have high tops for B-Ball !)

Is there some kind of triatholon where you stay up all day, no nap except for the ride to swimming class, and then you swim, only to leave swimming and shoot hoops?

Nana is lookin’ a litte ragged… me… I am PUMPED UP and ready to go, go, go…

Just wait til I start crawling and walking….you think Nana looks tired now…

HA!  I say just wait and I will show you tired.    Nana says, it’s all good as they say, because she knows the minute mom and dad are home for good, she will miss LITTLE MISS SLEEPLESS IN MICHIGAN…MORE THAN SHE CAN IMAGINE, I mean who wouldn’t miss all this cuteness and sweetness in one baby….. 

I had fun today, and am being a great little princess for Nana and Poppy.   Until tomorrow, please know I am your LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, YOUR DAUGHTER,

Getting Ready for Halloween!

Dear Mom and Dad,

So here we are getting close to my first Halloween.   Then my first Thanksgiving… and then….THE BIG DAY, my first Birthday!

Between now and then, I will be a busy girl.  I have swim class, and photo shoots to do, as well as work on my princess crawl, and getting more teeth, and eating all kinds of delicious people food that I am discovering.  I love Chinese food.   I love bread.  I love peaches… and pears.   I hate most all baby food, except oatmeal and the fruit stuff… but the meat…NO WAY!   I ate chicken from Nana’s dinner the other night, it was delish…the tender little bits that she gave me are not a thing like that stuff in the jar… AND MOM, I LOVE POTATO’S .  Nana boiled me up a few, and cut them into little cubes that I just love.  Plain little morsels of delish on a dish…. well okay maybe not on a dish, because that would end up on a floor.   And well, if you put it on my tray, forget it … it is mush…. I won’t put it in my own mouth just yet, I have far more fun grabbing the little morsel, smashing it, and playing with the mush.   I leave it to the camp director to feed me Cleopatra style….  HOWEVER THERE IS ONE EXCEPTION I THINK…. I am not sure, but I am pretty confident that if you put that special birthday cake thingy in front of me, with some delish icing… well I am sure it would find a way to the mouth.   I will feed myself a teething cookie, but food-food, NO!

So here I am at play today …. we had a busy day but we snapped up a few shots to let you see your princess!

Silly, I know, but I love playing with it, putting stuff in it and taking it out, then putting stuff in it and yes, how did you guess  – taking it out!

I am wondering what the phrase… THAT’S MUSIC TO MY EARS MEANS….

AND IF NANA KNOWS…WHY NO ONE EVER SAYS THAT TO HER WHEN SHE SINGS….

 I call this… HIDING FROM NANA’S SINGING….I am serious… shhhhhh!Here I am after she stops singing…

I am the best camper ever!

SLEEPLESS IN MICHIGAN!

Dear Mom and Dad…

I am doing good today.  Poppy had a special presentation to give, and Uncle Nick, Nana and I helped him get ready.  The hard part was, I didn’t want to sleep AT ALL LAST NIGHT.   I fought it off until nearly 2:00 a.m.    CRAZY huh?  Was up four times before getting out of bed at 700 a.m.  Nana says she is stopping all jokes about PARTY MY CRIB TWO A.M., BECAUSE I AM TAKING it all QUITE LITERALLY. 

The simplest of toys and games are so fun… look I can play with a little tupperware bowl as it it is the worlds greatest toy!

I don’t nap much during the day… it is true, maybe forty five minutes on a good day,and only broken up into ten or  twenty minute increments.  I AM AN INSOMIAC and no one knows why.   I truly love spending time with all the campers in this house, and since everyone has different schedules, well, I AM WAITING TO SEE EACH AND EVERY ONE of them IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT.  I think Nana is planning a sneak attack… she is trying to come up with some new way to trick me into sleeping like “babies are supposed to”.   You know go to bed at 8pm and get up at like 6 am ish or later even.  I DON’T THINK SO NANA!   My momma told me I am the princess… and I say NO NO NO… to sleep, and yes yes yes to laying down for a moment or two or being rocked in my chair, doze and then wake up as if I just caught 8 hours sleep and sit straight up I will have NO PART of going back down.   

Last night, I was being rocked at about one a.m. and when I woke up I cranked my neck up and around looking for fellow campers, or someone to party with… who did I see  JUST NANA… darn!

Look what I can do now…

    I am able to kneel… and soooo very close to crawling around… if you put your hand under my belly, I will crawl.  If you take it away, I roll over … and lay on the ground…. it’s a game, and it is fun.   This way all the campers are getting down to my level… and THAT IS COOL for me.  

Nana had Aunt Arri and Aunt Mikayla help this afternoon at camp.   The kitties had left hairballs, and kitty litter duty called,  camp stuff I am immune from due to size…. ALSO COOL…. not to mention I think Nana has been a little tired.  WHY I DON’T KNOW,  but I chalk it up to … she is old and I know she was happy to have the help of my aunties today.  Usually it is just her and I and the bag of melodies she usually sings… TODAY I GOT A  REPREIVE, and my time with my aunties was well spent. 

I spent the day investigating and observing, playing and practicing…

Even when exhausted, I still have the wide eyed thingy going on…

I finally took a rest  this afternoon,I fought that too…

but got in One solid hour  eventually…

Nana should have napped too, instead she put the love letter together and sent it to you… because she thinks I may have a bag full of tricks up my sleeve for later tonight…. How dare she?

I am not tricky, nothing hiding up these sleeves…. I DON’T SLEEP, AND IT’S NO SECRET…

Until tomorrow Mom and Dad, please know that I love you, and miss you both.  I am really being a good camper, and truth be told… NANA LOVES BEING WITH ME… she just wants you to be prepared for when we are together… I PLAN ON GIVING YOU A FEW SLEEPLESS NIGHTS TOO…I just love learning and spending time with people.  I am sure it is just a phase… and I will eventually get back to some kind of sleep pattern.  Who knows, maybe I am just anxious about our visit. COMING VERY SOON WOO WOO…  I am today as always your Little Miss Adorable, little Miss Sleepless in Michigan, your daughter,

A Sunday Drive….

Dear Mom and Dad,

So here I am toolin’ about on my Winnie the Pooh Expedition Car, hope you like it…

It is a blast…. and I have learned to push the car too…

Sunday’s are always fun, I spend the day with all the campers, and I get the attention of everyone …. so what could be bad…. it’s ALL ABOUT GUILLIANNA!

Here I am checking out the engine, and giving it a tune up for my day touring camp.

I love this little car, and not only do I love fixing it, and riding it, but as you can see in the video above, it is fun to play catch with it.

I am so curious about everything, and lately, it makes is soooooo hard to go to sleep, because the minute I hear a sound, I am up and about trying to be part of the action. 

I don’t want to miss a thing..

Look I am so talented I can do this with my eyes closed…. or …..hmmmm….. is that your nose Pooh Bear?   GROSS!

My cousins, in California, (and my Great Aunt Nori too) sent me the cutest special little package today.  Here is how it came wrapped…. so cute…

Also, there was another special surprise… which I will model on my special day for you too…

So here I am lazin’ and hangin’ at Camp Nana, thinking about the fact that in just weeks… (can’t be saying how many exactly, but…) in no time you will be here… and we can hang together…. you will love camp…. especially Nana’s singing… it grows on you…
