I Am Just Sayin’…

Dear Mom and Dad,

So, how are you today?   I have so much to tell you today.   First off,  not that I am the complaining type or a Negitive Nellie…, and not that I would ever use a princess like whine…  I am however,  just sayin’ that after ten months on this planet, I have decided unequivocally that TEETHING is NOT FUN.   Nana and the Beast…. well they worked at getting some photos for you today, and well let’s just see if you notice a pattern here…. none of these next pics are duplicates…   

 I am telling you… I am so fixated on biting, and gnawing, and just plain chewing on anything and everything, that it appears my little eyes say it all… ahhhhhhh…. yes… relief, even if momentary.

Nana has been giving me Infant tylenol as the doctor as recommended, and it helps so much, but when it is getting close to time for a bit more the the grape gum relief goo…. YOU CAN TELL, I hate TEETHING…  (just sayin’, NO FUN)

So I am sure you can see the similar factor in each AND EVERY photo the Beast tried to get today…and … well all I have to say is …. YOU TRY THIS!  I am thinking… even strong soldiers would have a hard time with this stuff!

Second thing I needed to speak to Daddy about… is WHAT’S UP WITH TELLING NANA THOSE ‘CHARGERS’ WERE GONNA BEAT GRANDMONSTERS STEELERS?   Hmmmmm?   Nana took your advice, and well let’s just say… that “chargers” thingy didn’t exacly pan out the way you said it would… but it’s okay… she’s just going to make you take all the campers to dinner for your ERROR in judgement. Anyone for Sonic?   From now on Daddy you better stick with the Steelers, or HOW BOUT THOSE LIONS…?

And the last thing I wanted to slide on in here tonight is about my day….I have to send a shout out to Great GREAT Aunt Ida, say Hey there… (and glad you are home), but really I do not want you having any more “great great aunt stuff “, just so I can EAT EGGS  at Great Grandma Sharyn’s house.   Yes, you heard me mom and dad, I went to hang with a little sister today… not mine OF COURSE, but Great Great Aunt Ida’s!    YOUR GRANDMA SHARYN… you see Aunt Ida had to go do some ‘Great Great Aunt’ Stuff, and Great Grandma Sharyn, well as you already know…she can get a worryin’ when someone she loves has “stuff” goin’ on…so I went to hang with her so she would not be so nervous, I thought I could distract her a bit….. chew up things, spit up a bit, maybe have a diaper or two to change, you know usual baby distraction stuff which is different than Great Great Aunt Stuff,  but instead…  SHE MADE ME A SCRAMBLED EGG!   I go to cheer her up, and she is cooking for me!   Crazy huh?   I stayed there and tried crawling a bit, till I was ‘tuckered’ out, (20 seconds or so) and then, I just rolled all over her floor… no dog or kitty hair … just fun fun fun, and when there is FUN AND FOOD, well you can count the “Guge” in… cause I am all about fun and food. 

So as you can see the day was full, and I was busy, I even stopped by to say hi to Poppy, Great Papa, Uncle Dave, and Dr. Randy at the Royal Oak office and took Poppy your favorite chicken sandwich for his lunch…  I was  an object of distraction one moment, and a gnawing, drooling machine the next… but still as always,  I am your Little Miss Adorable,

WORKING ALL THE CRAWLING MUSCLES!

Hey there Mom and Dad,

I am not really allowed by the stairs… but Nana made an exception, since if I am put on the floor, I just roll on over, and don’t even bother workin’ those crawlin’ muscles….

So here I am, workin’ it… and workin’ it… and doing pretty darn good.

I had a fun day today.   All of us had such a busy week at camp that we just hung out at camp and waited to see how many football teams lost that Nana chose to win.   Seems Great Uncle Brian, had a good week, Nana, NOT SO GOOD.  

Here are some awesome photos of me for you to enjoy… I am so curious and I am exploring all the time.  I am TEN MONTHS OLD TODAY.  It is my ten month princess-versary and I am just loving being a big girl.

Dear Mom and Dad,

I am doing great… hope you are too…  it’s been a very busy day at camp cleaning and such.   We didnt’ go any place today, but I had fun with the campers and my new Giraffe and Baby Giraffe.

Things Change… OR DO THEY?

Dear Mom and Dad…

Today is October 2nd, and on this date in history this man was born…

This is Gandhi, as you probably know,

Nana says he was born on this date in 1869.   History tells us, he wanted to promote peace… and he died trying to do that….Some things change so fast, like me growing, or learning new things, but other things seem to never change, or take forever to change.   I wish that there were peace on this planet everywhere.   Call me silly, or tell Nana, she is a dreamer.. but the sooner there is peace the sooner, my mom and dad come home to me.   Lifetimes seem to come and go, and the change is not always fast enough nor does it seem enough, but we keep trying… all of us are in this together, and we all need to keep on trying….

Nana put up this photo, of this face because, she has done her history homework….and she says, if this face could not bring us peace  –  she thinks she may just have a solution,  …  BELOW IT, OR ABOVE IT…she says, the pictures above his and below represent the face of peace, the face of happiness, and the face of our future…. if everyone on the planet could just see the faces of all the little children… and know…. they are why we need all mommy’s and daddy’s home… with their children… living in peace.

You know I just wanted to tell you both I love you very much, and as I approach my tenth princess-versary,  in just a few days, I realize that in just about eight weeks, I will be done with princess-versaries, and will have my VERY FIRST BIRTHDAY!   From there on, we will celebrate every year my birthday celebration on December 4th!   In just about 8 weeks (hopefully) we will get a to have our special  ‘visit’.  

I cannot wait!

In these past few months  – much has changed for me as you can see.  When I came to camp I was an infant sleeping quite a bit, and now, I am a baby who SLEEPS NOT!  I am a sponge who absorbs EVERY THING AND WANTS TO MISS NOTHING!   I have three teeth.  Two on the bottom and one that has just come thru on top.  (with more to follow quickly it seems)  I am eating all kinds of great foods… and loving every second of trying new things.  Tonight we met Great Papa and GG-ma and guess what, I tried an itty bitty bit of Hagen Daz ice cream.. and CAN I JUST SAY –  LUV IT!  

Today we stayed at camp until our meeting at the mall to see the Great Grandparents… Nana had to get Aunt Arri some back to school stuff and we grabbed food at the food court… but for me it was a first time trip to that mall and there was plenty of EYE CANDY EVERYWHERE.   We only went into one store, but it was full of decorations for the holiday’s and I was all a flutter with excitement over the lights, and sparkles everywhere.  Nana took some photos to day to show you my princess personality.  So enjoy the many faces of GUILLIANNA Princess of Personality!
