Sleeping thru the night?

Dear Mom and Dad,

Since the whole teething thing really began, well lets just say sleeping is not a favorite.  Post nasal drip seems to be the culprit.    My nose and nasal cavity are so full of mucus, since teething… that I don’t want to lay down.   I will fall asleep in a second if I am sitting up in Nana’s arms, or even in a car seat…. but every 15 to 30 minutes I was up last night, until Nana let me sleep in the car seat for a bit.   She too caught a few winks.   Teething  is getting better though, and during the day, like I said yesterday, I am fine.  

My teeth are so cute… I just know in the upcoming days, when they are fully sprouted, the Beast will get a shot of them so you can really see how cute they are. 

We spent the day …. CLEANING…. yes, No FUN Nana, made the campers clean again!   Seems some little camper was taking up so much space everywhere with toys, and IMPORTANT LEARNING STUFF, that Nana decided it was time to reorganize.   Now, the former LIBRARY, is a PLAYROOM for the campers… most specifically one little camper who shall remain nameless… I don’t know something about learning how to put away toys… or some non-sense.   If we take out toys… we put them back.. how fun is that… now you may be getting the picture on  how she earned the name NO FUN NANA! 

What is fun though is being outside, and it shows… here is my photo shoot for today.

Daydreaming, and wanting to play….

Happy girl!   Green soft grass, and fresh air is all this Gugu Bee needs…. that and some ‘bob’s’, some toys, a lot of princess helpers around to pamper me, and maybe a few other things… but  really I am not high maintenance…. really…. It’s just that being outside, well –  it makes teething easier.  Look when I am outside, teething  –  well, it is just even easier when outside.

I have several approaches on this whole teething thing… above is one method, and below, well this is another princess approach at teething!

I am quite a gardener…I think I like these purple flowers the best.

I am thinking about picking this one..

I am thinking that it would only take one second and it could be mine….

I could send it to Mommy in the land of sand!

HEY – WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN’T PICK THEM, Please!  If we pick them I can send them to Mommy for my 8th Princess-versary.  NO?.. NO?… well, fine then… I just might have to pout…

I can get pretty serious when I want to…. but if No Fun Nana, were really NO FUN, then there would not be thousands of photos of Me Princess Guillianna… SMILING ALL THE TIME… like this….

I had dinner at Great Grandpa Ray’s today, he called this afternoon and said, ” hey there”  to Nana and all of us campers and that he had made us a roast beef dinner, complete with ‘taters’, peas… and fried zucchini.   It was so nice of him… I of coarse, had the usual… a ‘bob’, but he really made a great dinner for all of the campers, and we had a great time out at his house.   THANK YOU SO MUCH – cause I got a chance to visit with my cuz Brit, and my Gappy (who were there too, but had already eaten).  Mom and Dad, I am so lucky- everyone and I MEAN EVERY ONE is making sure I am happy and smiling all the time until you get back!   I will write you tomorrow, or should I say TODAY AGAIN, SINCE NO FUN NANA, SEEMS TO HAVE MISSED HER MIDNIGHT DEADLINE YET AGAIN… until later..please remember I am your LITTLE MISS ADORABLE, your daughter,

Guillianna!  ( I should probably cut Nana some slack, since it is me who has already awoken at least 5 times since she laid me down for the night!)   IT’S JUST SO MUCH MORE FUN TO PICK ON NANA ! I mean why should a princess like me take the blame if we can attribute the trouble to another cause…?   Maybe Nana should type faster, or take less photos!   What about that idea… nah…. less photos of your little(POG) Pot Of Gold…. 25 Years –

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today was another super day.   I was very good, and my teething pain has decreased so much…. I only had to have Tylenol once.   No more low grade fever, and really they seem to be through the gums now.  There are two… and they are ADORABLE, as you can imagine.  Here I am taking a ride around camp… me riding in my new car is useful in so many ways… with all of Mr. Griffy’s fur shedding, and kitty hair, I make an excellent human swiffer!   Nah, not really, but you know me always looking for a way to be helpful here at Camp Nana.  Personally, I am all for Nana moving out all the furniture so I can have my own personal “autobahn’.

Poppy and Nana have friends, mommy knows them and daddy met them in April.  Ms. Lois and Mr. Dale, they are so nice.   They thier children gave them a surprise party for their 25th wedding anniversary and us campers were all invited.  It was so odd to think a quarter of a century has passed for them as a couple.  And yes, this makes Nana all MUSHY and SENTIMENTAL.   Surprisingly no one had to whip out tissues, but if necessary you know I’d be there, with butt wipes in hand for the old sappy woman.     Here I am at their surprise party sitting on a swing with Aunt Arrianna… yes, it is August 1rst here in MICHIGAN and YES I NEEDED A JACKET TODAY… it’s Michigan!

PRETTY CUTE HUH?   It is my very first time on a real swing!

In twenty five years, you and daddy will be in your forties!   Yes, I said it, your forties…  Nana and Poppy they will be in their seventies!   Do you think that sounds like a long time?   WELL BE SURE NOT TO SAY THAT IN FRONT OF NANA, CAUSE SHE WILL INFORM YOU ON EXACTLY HOW FAST THAT MUCH TIME GOES BY….and from what I gather IT’S DARN FAST!  Nana looked at the photos of Mr. Dale and Ms. Lois, and she knows how much they have endured through the years,  and how they have enjoyed  – through the years.   She is so happy for them to still be in love, and to have each other.   So tonight she is hoping for her kids, and in particularat this time, for the married ones with a princess… THAT LIFE IS GOOD TO THEM, that they find happiness and strength in each other, and more than anything she hopes that one day, I the princess,  can throw my mom and dad a totally awesome surprise 25th wedding anniversary party like the one we were at today.   If I do, Nana says she will be the one sitting in a corner somewhere…. with a box of tissues, being sappy.   She says, that she can hardly recognize herself anymore, she has changed so much in the past few years, but ONE THING FOR CERTAIN, she WILL BE THE SAPPY ONE WITH TISSUES and easy to find, sniffling in a corner.

Please know that I love you both very much.   I will write you tomorrow,  and  know that as always I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

July Comes to an End!

Dear Mom and Dad,

As you know, I have been lucky to spend Friday’s with the campers and Great Grandma Sharyn and Great Papa…but today, we had an extra special chance to visit with them, and cuz Steven, Bryan, Uncle Dave, Aunt Kris and her parents, Cyd and Larry who are visiting from Arizona.   We don’t really ever get much of a chance to do this kind of thing, but Steven, Bryan and Great Papa all have birthday’s in August.  So  CAN ANYONE SAY…. FIELD TRIP,  and boy do I love field trips.   Tonight was no exception.  FRIDAY’S ARE FUNDAY’S!

This is the last day of July, and it got me thinking… do you know what next week is… ?  It is my 8th princess-versary.   To think..

  THEN….

We had my special day in April.

I was 4 Months Old, and so precious!

Five Months Old, in May of 2009.

Seems April Showers did bring May flowers, and I LOVE THE FLOWERS AND BEING OUTSIDE!

Then is was June, and I was as adorable as ever, and doing all kinds of big girl stuff, like eating solid food, and playing so hard.

I sit in my princess chair, and am laughing all the time now….

So that is my”quick” review of photos, thus far at camp Nana…

Today’s photo’s are me in my gorgeous pink party dress, at our dinner date with Papa and GG-ma.  Thank you for having us Uncle Dave and Aunt Kris.  Happy Birthday cuz’ Bryan and Steven.

I was happy to be there and well let’s face it… I am somethin’ special…

Still no Nikon Supermodel contract though..

I will write more tomorrow, and let you know what is shaking here at Camp Nana.   Not much planned but I am sure the zoo ooohh, I meant Camp will have some kind of stuff going on to tell you about.

MY MOM WAS ABLE TO SEE ME TODAY IN MY CRIB… ALL THE WAY IN THE LAND OF SAND…. AND  WOW WAS SHE WAS HAPPY!  MY NANA AND POPPY, AS WELL AS MY MOM AND DAD SAY THANK YOU FOR KEEPING UP THE HARD WORK TO MAKE THE NANACAM WORK WHAT AN AWESOME DAY FOR  MY SUPERHERO SOLDIER PARENTS TO BE ABLE TO SEE THEIR SUPERHERO BABY GIRL ALL THE WAY FROM THERE TO HERE AT CAMP NANA IN MICHIGAN!   NOW WHEN THEY ARE UP AND ABOUT, THEY CAN CHECK IN ON ME AND MY PRINCESS DREAMS!   ‘Thank you, from all of us!’
