Dear Guillianna and Elijah:
This weekend we went up North and there is nothing more beautiful than Mitten water- and Lake Michigan !
This is a new area in the north we’ve discovered – trying to find more hidden gems in the Mitten. You can bet when we come up here Nana and Poppy think of so many awesome memories. I grew up as a little girl spending summers in the Northern Mitten and then we brought our own children here- which made taking you and the other grandchildren up here so important to us. This weekend we are here with Elena, Cole , Gray, Aunt Allyssa, Uncle Nick, Aunt Liz and Bash! Uncle Dwan had to work – and Aunt KiKi had Uncle Ricky out of town for work and was unable to make it since she has family coming to her for Turkey Day . This year she too will not be in the Mitten for the Holidays. All of us are missing you and all the rest of our family . We think of you with pure love and hope you are happy healthy and loving your days and nights with mom and dad. We hope one day to see your smiling faces and who knows return to the Mitten Waters for some fun. If not sooner than later – who knows maybe when your 18 you’ll go to U of M or Michigan State ? Where ever you go, what ever you do Mitten Waters will always make s great vacation destination right ? ❤️ 
We were trying to have some special time for Poppy’s birthday since on his actual birthday – everyone has work or school! We are hopeful to see more days with you some time soon – or in the future, because you never know what tomorrow will bring. Keep staying sweet as always , working hard at making great choices, loving mom and dad and making days full of smiles and new happy memories ! One day you will see everyone you love again. Today- Elena wanted to FaceTime you guys and was wanting to dance and play with you both! We told her hopefully some day soon. Then we looked at photos and videos to help them too. Know you’re both truly missed, very much, and loved – to the moon and back ,
forever and always – you’ll always be our ? sunshine!
