It’s Oscar Night!
Dear Mom and Dad, it is Sunday and it is Oscar night, at eleven weeks I have opted to avoid the red carpet, and sit in the comfort of my easy chair… All my Aunts are so happy, because, they love seeing the pretty dresses, and all the stars, Nana says you know she never liked all that stuff, she says it was one of your favorite things to watch, Nana knows she is so – ” not ” a fashion diva…. but I told her not to worry. I am my own person and I choose “GUILLIANNA STYLE”. The aunts however – totally loved hanging out with me, and let’s face it, who wouldn’t.
So I have my own little princess thrown, like I told you, and me and all my peeps hung out a bit. I know you remember Mr. Griff… and Justice and Liberty. But I have not shown you how much they too adore me. Mr. Griff , Justice and Libby, run to the first person they can find in the house if I so much as make a little sound. They will not let my needs go unnoticed for a second. If I start making noises Justice goes running to someone and he head butts them as if to say, “hey, she wants something”. They go where ever I am, and they sit at my feet or somewhere near by. Mr Griff who loves sitting on the couch will sit on the floor by my swing if I am in it. He has a huge tongue and seriously would bathe me with it if they let him. But they will not let him – trust me. It’s just that his tongue is bigger than my head! Want to see my two of my buddies…
They really are good, and if I am in my car seat/stroller, Mr. Bauer (Unlce Nick’s cat, who is also being babysat at Camp Nana’s)rides in the basket below. I have made a lot of new friends here, but make no mistake, they all understand, I AM THE PRINCESS AND THERE IS A NEW DIVA IN THIS HOUSE!
Here are a few more photos of the day – I hope you like them, and remember, in a few more weeks, you will be here hanging with me too. Dad will be home with you soon, and I hope he can make it a bit less lonely for you mom… I worry about you. There is no need for you to worry about me getting lonely, Nana tells me stories about you everyday, she shows me the 8×10 black and white photos she has of you and as you know she even lets me hear your voice on the cell phone when it’s possible. I have a lot of ‘loyal subjects’ here in Michigan, some with two legs and some with four…. but it is certain I will never be ‘alone’ or in need while living in this crazy zoo that is for sure.
So happy… and be sure that Arri and Pops are standing here, cause you know darn well they’d never let me sit in this thing alone, geez – Nana still cuts Arri’s meat for her! Rumor has it Nana can be slightly over protective. I will let you know when I give her MY OWN REPORT CARD. (but I can’t imagine she is at all overprotective, not that I would be biased or remotely aware of who butters my bread i.e. takes care of my butt… literally) Maybe my final opinion on this should be expressed sometime after you return from your job….yeah, that’s what we will do. Until then we will just say she is RESONABLY “cautious”. (Ha ha)
Well, I guess it’s bye for now, and just so you know – I ate so good today, and had no crying that wasn’t brought about by the changing of my onesie (which you know I don’t particularly like over my eyes). I grunted a bit when it was time to eat but with everyone in the entire family home today, Nana had an extra 10 hands. Bath time was awesome too… I had an audience, and every aunt was laughing while I smiled and played in the water. Life in Michigan is going good Mom-(even though I do miss living at Ft. Hood with you), and I am doing better every day with my formula. I miss you very, very much, and cannot wait to smell you, hear your voice and be held in your arms. Until that moment, Nana and all the rest of my Michigan family help me get through. Best of all, Dad will be there soon to help you! He will hopefully make you laugh and smile, and when you smile… so do I. Love always, little Miss Adorable, your daughter,
Guillianna
