Contemplation…

Dear Mom and Dad,

Yes, this is me, contemplating…. I am certain I am not to play with these components… I know every time I do, I get the big…NO!   But I must admit, I still contemplate doing it anyway…

Watch me wonder… what to do here…

Here I go… walking by as if to say I am just walking by..

I am just looking at the television..

Not got anything mischievous on my my mind…

I would not even begin to contemplate getting into a little pint sized trouble….

Who me?

No…

I am just hangin out in my capri’s on this sunny day…

and not even thinking of TROUBLE.

I know there are balls over there that are for me to play with, but…

Something happens, and well, I begin to CONTEMPLATE just a little EXPLORATION… my finger fits right here so good…. I mean …. it was made for me to push this button… and well tempting… no one is really looking… so….

What?      I didn’t do anything…  I am innocent!

All joking aside… it is very tempting… and somehow fun to see what will happen… but I am not a fan of being caught!   I am however a dancer…. here are a few shots of me, dancing and playing…

Today was Friday.   Today I write you to say, spring seems to be official in the mitten state.  Trees are budding.  It was nearly 80 degrees here.   Now while that warm stuff is most likely just a fluke, it was nice to be able to go out in the stroller and enjoy the FRESH NEW BEGINNING EVERY WHERE, and look I am wearing short sleeves!    I  (and even Nana after all these years) am really amazed at the seasons in this state.   It has been a reason Nana loves Michigan.  They are very different and separate.   Now  it is true the cold is not what it once was to her, and well not to me either being I had to get bundled beyond recognition.   But the white is pretty on the trees, and during the holidays, it is like a blanket for a new beginning to emerge… which is what I am getting to see again here at Camp.   When I first came, spring was arriving but I was small..  This is a new spring… with all kinds of new things growing and emerging…. I get to go outside and see it all unfold.   The air is fresh and crisp… and everything is seems to have a fresh start!   The seasons of Michigan… well they are amazing… and this fresh start is the stuff that you daddy and I are about to embark on.   OUR SPRING….The spring of my toddling around, planting kisses on your cheeks, and asking you a bazillion questions day and night…. I cannot wait…

Until tomorrow,  I am as always, your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

P.S.

I had dinner with my GG-ma and Great Papa tonight… and just wanted them to know… I LOVE FRIDAY DINNER!

Thursday April 1, 2010 KEEPING UP OUR STRENGTH!

Dear Mom and Dad,  HAPPY APRIL FIRST!

I am thinking we will be resting comfortably at Fort Hood by Mother’s Day… to be certain!   All the chaos of moving done, and you and daddy full time with me!

Today is the beginning of a new month…. and this is the FINAL chapter of my love letters to you and dad… I will have one for you today, not to worry…  this is just a little note  – I just wanted to start your day with the happy thought of what  APRIL IS … it is not an April Fools joke… it is spring here in the MITTEN STATE,  a bunny will deliver chocolate eggs and candy … flowers will begin to sprout, and you and dad will be reading some of my last love letters this month!     I cannot wait until we are a family again… I can smell it in the spring air!  See you later tonight…. alas on line but if we have survived this sabbatical of so many days, we are sure to have enough strength to make it through one more month!   Love and kisses till later your sweet baby Guge!

THIS WAS US ONE YEAR AGO…. and again soon…

Bashful?

Me?

Only now…. I have hair… and I am even more adorable…

How are you and daddy doin’?

Catch ya tonight with a photo shoot from today!

Maybe I will look at the Beast… (Mr. Nikon) today?

UNTIL LATER…… I AM DREAMING OF MAY FLOWERS IN TEXAS!     🙂

So here we go…

Now that you remember what I looked like then…

My love letter for the day is to follow:

April 1rst, 2010 the first day –

of my last love letters to the land of sand!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today was Thursday right… and usually Great Aunt Pam is hangin’ out at Camp Nana, helping Nana out on Thursday’s, but this week has been a weird one…. she was here so many days, and she brought me stuff every day.  She brought me a bunny, a basket, clothes, and candy!   Yep, you cannot believe the things she has done.   Nana told mom of some stuff going on, and lucky for Nana it is almost over the worst of it.   Great Aunt Pam has been so nice to help out and well to be honest she is more fun than NO FUN NANA!

Here are my photos of the day… and I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them…. I know it is hard to stop me these days, from being interested in stuff besides Nana and the beast…

but now that I am a toddler, I love toddling around, who can blame me…. Nana is ….well, boring by comparison to a lot of stuff I find!

I am so busy all the time….

I have important calls to make and things to do..

You cannot imagine the stuff I have to do in a day!

Today, I ate pasta and “guge special’ hot dogs.    I had carrots, which are about my favorite veggie since I hate peas and green beans.   I had homemade applesauce and even some prunes early today cause well, let’s just say I needed some…. I was up at three am with Poppy –  pushing!    Then laughing and not wanting to go back to sleep since three…. yep it was an early day, but after all that pushing last night and early this morning prunes were still in order…  (yes Nana is telling this story and embarrassing me… but it’s all part of Princess digestion and learning to eat new foods)

I know you and dad are so proud that I have such a charming personality, you are proud that I am learning and growing, you have hopes and dreams for me, that are beyond imagination, just like Nana and Poppy for all of their kids…. THIS LOVE LETTER IS SENT TO YOU TODAY TO SAY…. I am the luckiest… and I make you and daddy proud in all I do,  it’s the small stuff like first foods, or first steps when small, and as we grow it never stops!

That is what kids do… !   Look at you two!  I don’t know what I will be when I grow up, and I don’t know any of the journey in front of me, but I do know (or am being told) this…. Nana says, it will be full of laughter, and joy, and yes it will have things I don’t always understand,  things that can make a person wonder, and doubt… but that I should always listen and learn as I go, and it is guaranteed to be most certainly full of dreams…. I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!

I was much better by lunch… and now everything is working great!    Nana was PROUD!   See, it is the simple things…. too that make us happy.  YEA!   Hopefully this means a nice night sleep at camp for all…. Uncle Nick and Miss K, return from the Pacific Northwest today!     All is going well, and I am as usual, your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

Just a Minute… I have something to say…

Dear Mom and Dad,

So, it’s me again with lots to do today and lots to say!

I am wearing my pot of gold rainbow shirt, and waiting for you to follow the rainbow to its end, and find me waiting at it’s end.   Lookin’ sweet, being sweet, and full of sweet hugs and kisses for you both!

I am about ready for lunch here, and during lunch is my SPROUT TIME, with who other than the Wiggles, and well let’s just say Mr. NIKON and Nana are a bit of a bother… she tried to get me to pay attention to the beast, but … the WIGGLES WIN EVERY TIME…

Nana tried another angle… thinking she could distract me..

Until tomorrow Mom and Dad, I love you, I will always let Nana take my photo, I am just saying, I think all photos should wait until after the Wiggles are on…  what do you think… can a girl watch the Wiggles first?

The answer … is yes, and Nana will be back tomorrow with more of my cuteness, and until then, I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter, and little pot of gold, Guillianna!

Thanks to Great Aunt Pam for another awesome walk today.  The weather was super… the company better.   I love our time together.

Tuesdays are Terriffic! DOES THIS LOOK LIKE ME?

This is me One Year Ago Today!

Dear Mom and Dad,

I am now a year older, I have no need for a the little Boppy pillow to prop me up for photos.

Yes it is true, I was adorable then, and am still adorable today. Nana and her silly photo shoots!   I prefer my NOW  pics with me and my M&M babies …. and with me on the go go go!

It is just so hard for Nana to believe that in these past 365 days… I have learned and changed so much.

Today… I  have everyone chasing me!   Now, I can tell you what I want, and laugh, boy oh boy do I laugh!  I love smiling and laughing and playing more than my M&M dolls.  I love music and dancing….

I am just waiting to show you and Dad so many things.   Now that I am a big girl, I will teach you and dad a trick or two – you just wait and see….

I had Nana find a picture of me from exactly one year to the day… so  you can look at me then,

and ….

Here I am today!   GUGE – A- RIFFIC!  I am so sweet… so smart, and really…. I am the most awesome baby ever according to my co campers!   I believe them…. afterall.. IT IS NICE TO HAVE A FAN CLUB!

Now I am starting to talk, and have surpassed learning to walk, ( even if I am perfecting it a bit), I will be running in not time, and I am waiting here in the Mitten State YOUR POT OF GOLD,  you and Dad will pick me up and  we will begin a life in Texas together.  It is right around the corner.

Today, I played with Aunt Arrianna, and Aunt Mikayla quite a bit.  I exhausted myself, and well, learned the whole day through about things… and what I like to get into, and things that make the other campers jump… up and well to be honest…. I just like keeping them all on their toes.

I am having a great day, and hope you and dad did too.  Here I am saying Hi, with a bob to tuck in for the night…. Love to you both, and as always, I am your Little Miss Adorable, your daughter,

Guillianna!

P.S.

Thank you so much to Great Grandma Sally and Grumpy… for the added prop to my photo,  Nana loved the flowers… and I LOVE TAKING PHOTOS WITH THEM.
