WINTER RETURNS TO THE MITTEN STATE!

Dear Mom and Dad, I am sooooo glad you were here to see this because if you hadn’t been you might not have believed me when I told you it snowed here… about six inches last night… sure, you would have seen the photos, but thought I was just playing an April Fool’s joke on you… or something, but this is no joke… IT SNOWED AND SNOWED AND SNOWED…

Daddy was so funny, Nana was up in the night, again, she putters around getting lunches and dinners ready for the the three Aunties who go to work all day and to college at night.   Then she has a bottle ready when I stir and want it… so Poppy can get a few extra zzzzzzzzz’s.  But this morning, daddy was up and watching it snow… it was so funny he could hardly wait to go make me a snowperson… and sure enough… he did.   Later he and Aunt Arrianna who is off of school all week adding to my festive week… well they went out and played in the snow for hours…  Nana is a little freaked out because the second time they played, DADDY WOULDNT WEAR A COAT… and he has brought with him to Michigan – a TEXAS sized cough… which I am testing out now myself, but mine.. is not Texas sized… it is more like a Deleware sized cough… let’s just hope it doesn’t grow to a bigger sized state.   Nana is a what all the Aunt’s and Uncles call OVERPROTECTIVE, I have decided she just worries, and how does it go Nana?    YOU ARE JUST LOOKING OUT FOR OUR BEST INTEREST…. yeah that is it.

It has been since last Wednesday that Mom and dad have been with me, and now we are feeling time fly by faster than it should.   At first Daddy was so shy, and when I cry I make both mommy and daddy worry… but Nana keeps telling them, it took me days to get used to being here, and in a few days I will get used to them again… Well at nearly a week, we are all getting our groove on.. and daddy is not as shy, and they are both getting reaquainted with my Princess demands… which are such big girl demands compared to when I was small… I may eat less frequent, but I eat more, I make more princess presents than ever before, and I require ENTERTAINMENT.   I love being strolled around IN THE HOUSE SINCE THE OUTDOORS IS A FRIGID NIGHTMARE…in case you forgot ….. this is today, April 6th, in the winterwonderland…

If these are not making an impression… well I don’t know what will !

I mean, April showers, means rain right?

And if I have to wake up to this where the heck is Bambi….

If this dosn’t change in a hurry… I am going to bundled up by Nana for my special day… I will be so bundled up NO ONE WILL SEE ME..  AND ISN’T THAT THE WHOLE POINT OF A PRINCESS DAY…. FOR EVERYONE TO SEE YOU…  but you just don’t know Nana… she is all about the layering…

Here I am playing and learning about reaching and grasping, and just plain having fun.  As I said I am getting a bit of a cough today, and was a bit out of sorts, but no fever.  I hope this passes quickly.

Ha… I think all of Southeast Michigan is UNDER THE WEATHER!

Sunday at CAMP NANA, with Mom and Dad!

Dear Mom and Dad,

I see you!    I love laying in my princess play palace…  thank you so much for bringing it to camp…..and look what I see when I look up!   IT’S ME!

I have to say today is Sunday, and that means not only do I have Nana, Poppy and all the Aunties, I have mom and dad too… so I anticipate that today will be a good day for “PPB”   I figure everything my mom and dad say has or is some kind of acronym,  I mean, they go to the PX, have MOS’s and about a million others ,  so I will make some of my own… and PPB MEANS – Pass & Pamper the BABY!  Today is a definate PPB Day. 

I have a very busy week planned… I have a pediatrician appointment this week, a weigh in, and yes….V A C C I  N A T I O N S  (yucko)   are in store… but I will be strong and brave just like my daddy and mommy…. and lucky for me they were able to move my appointment up to Wednesday, so that I will be in good shape for NEXT SUNDAY, PARTY FOR ME DAY!   Mom and Dad can go with me to the pediatrician too…. woo woo…  Thursday we have a special dinner at Papa & GG-ma’s house (she has been cooking for days!) with Uncle Dave, Aunt Kris and the boys. (very exciting)    It will be awesome.   Friday Nana has a very big day planned, where she must get everything ready for my princess party.  We have some special yummy treats to make on Friday, that Nana makes every year  (she says Uncle Nick will be sad, they are his favorite, but I bet she will make him some when he comes home!)… and daddy and Aunt Arri are going to have a race for a prize… they better be careful though because, next year…. I WILL BE IN THE RACE TOO, AND just so you know, I – WILL – WIN DADDY!

Just enough to look pretty for a day and melt… THANK GOODNESS…

Otherwise, I may be back into what is known as the the NANA BUNDLE… which basically means 700 layers of clothing… IN THE HOUSE, AND ANOTHER 300 LAYERS WHEN WE LEAVE THE HOUSE….   Thank goodness I can stay indoors tomorrow!  

I love you both very much,   time here together is passing by too quickly the days are flying by for me… and I am loving every minute of being with you both.

My 4th Princess-versary!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today I am four months old!  This morning at about five, I was up with Nana, and Daddy came up to hold me.   I fell back to sleep in his arms and it was nice.  Then when I woke up it was a good time to take pictures because I was in a very good mood.

I had a princess-versary suprise sent to you and I hope you loved it, Nana says it was a favorite of yours growing up…. and hopefully it still is. Today I sent my mom and dad a Happy 4th princess-versary present.  Here is a photo of it, and I together…

I am just hanging around today… and enjoying some time with my parents.   Nothing real exciting… but still just a lot of fun being with all the aunts and my mom and dad…

My special blessing day is in a week….I can hardly wait.   And by the way, since Mom and Dad were at Camp Nana today, Nana went to the Post Office to send Uncle Nick a care package…. and when she went in, they all noticed she was with out HER  PRINCESS…., My friends at the post office missed me….how cool is that!   I feel so lucky that the noticed I wasn’t there….   Don’t worry, with Mom and Dad deploying I am sure we are going to be shipping to APO/addresses for quite a bit longer…. Getting into the swing of things…

Dear Mom and Dad,

Today is Friday, and I have not decided when or where I should give you your little ‘present’.   I may have an good plan, but I am still working on the details.   As a general rule a princess can be quite creative when she wants to be.  I want my present to be something you will remember the whole time you are in Iraq –  so I have to be sure it is just the perfect time. 

We had a great day today… Nana had so many things to get done, and you and Daddy got to do all kinds of stuff with me to make me smile…I bet YOU are TUCKERED OUT.   (Nana is a cheese ball! That makes her smile everytime she says it… she thinks Im a little TUCKETTE!)

Today I went out with Mom and Dad to visit GG-ma, and hang at her place for a while.   I have a Nana, a Mimi, a GG and a Granmonster… Crazy huh!   Lovin it though… Daddy drove me ‘across the river and through the woods’, …. nah, maybe it was  down the highway… and to Farmington Hills… to see GG and Papa Alan!   And yes, I was adored as usual.   I love the car, so I don’t mind going, but my butt gets tired of that position after a while.  

I came back to camp Nana, who by the way, was sooooo far behind in doing some stuff for Poppy, that she missed our dinner date… (something about quiet time and not cooking dinner for 8 and playing …..blah blah blah) but do you know though what that REALLY  means… IT MEANS, NO SINGING, AND A FEW LESS KISSES… which OKAY,  even if I am a princess – can get to be a little much… sometimes Nana kisses me so many times  ‘for all the people who can’t’  that… I confuse her with MR GRIFF.   Rumor has it Mr. Griff, (the St. Bernard) has more slobber and drool than any pet Nana has ever seen… I guess Nana did not have a Nana like her… !   She gives me kisses for  Great Aunt Nori, for  Great Aunt Kris,  Great Aunt Pam,  Great Aunt Karen, Great Aunt Linda, Great Aunt Debbie,  Great Aunt Michelle, etc….. all the Great Uncles, Aunt Samantha, cuz Cody, GG Connie and of course TRIPLE KISSES FROM…. My Mimi AND My Poppa!   THE LIST IS ENDLESS, AND who says she is not taking advantage… I mean how does she know if they all really want to be kissin’ on me…?  Oh yeah, I forgot, I AM  AFTERALL   ‘IRRESISTABLE’…    Well, she means well I guess, but she is a kisser…
